Linilla was wandering around calmly observing the surroundings of the forest that looked so beautiful and full of life, so she just sighs keeping calm and thinking of a way to find a trace of civilization or a place where she can stay at least.
But she was intercepted by... what the hell is that?
It looked like a bird, but its head was like a tiger's and large horns could be seen on the head of the tiger, is it an animal? No... it gives off such a nauseating smell and feeling.
-What the hell is that? -said Linilla as she slowly backed away in fear of this strange beast.
But that beast fixed its gaze on the girl with a toothy grin that spread across its face and lunged forward ready to tear its new prey apart.
Linilla quickly took her weapon that she had stored in her dress and moved to the side... quite well, she managed to dodge the beast but she didn't know how to manipulate the weapon... right?
-Huh? -I barely refuted Linilla the fact that she held the weapon firmly, as if she was ready to fight, her body reacted with slight spasms as if she was anxious.
The beast lunged again, but Linilla dodged it by slipping underneath it.
"This is not normal at all... should I be guided by these sensations?" thought Linilla as she jumped backwards dodging a claw from that animal that didn't understand why it couldn't hunt that girl with such a low spiritual level.
"I thought about running away but... with the stupid speed this being travels... will I be able to do it?" and without realizing it again it moved faster and faster, something she did not notice since she was sunk in her thoughts but....
That animal did, and she felt warning sensations that among animals were very well developed.
This girl was not normal.
"Just let me... carry!" Linilla's eyes glowed in Dorado and as if her body was used to the battlefield, she moved deftly dodging the beast and brandishing that weapon hard she gave the first thrust right in the right front paw, then deftly used that thrust to propel herself on top of that beast that only shrieked in annoying pain.
Then, as Linilla fell, she became more and more conscious of what she was doing, her blurred vision was disappearing little by little and she realized how her body adapted to the situation in a masterful way.
"What's happening to me?" was the only thing Linilla formulated when she touched with her boots the back of that beast, unsheathed her other weapon and slashed at its jugular, making the beast shriek in pain and a lot of blood spilled.
All that blood stained the woman who only watched without hesitation as the beast slowly became unconscious, her eyes focused on the person who killed it.
Golden eyes in the darkness was the only thing she could catch before she ended up losing her life.
Linilla for her part was only removing as much blood as possible from her face while she sighed and her golden eyes became blue again.
And the moment she really noticed what she had done, after seeing her hands stained with blood, she only vomited near the beast.
She vomited like never before... after all she had taken a life.
He could have attacked her but it is a natural instinct of people who are not used to the act of taking a life, to end up with some traumas about it.
After a while, not knowing how to get rid of the beast's blood, he decided to go on his way and pray with getting civilization or at least a nearby river where to get rid of the dirt and blood.
Unlike before, he simply decided to go straight ahead without being distracted by anything, even without being able to get the blood on his hands out of his mind.
And together with that when he was dying and that person who ended up taking his last breaths of life.
He simply sighed trying to push all those feelings away from his heart and those thoughts from his mind, he looked ahead and kept walking until he saw how far ahead seemed to be the exit of this forest.
He ran with all his strength until he reached the end of the road and finally got out of the forest, his blue irises were dazzled as he observed a magnificent and seemingly medieval city in the distance.
And the big, wide blue sky captured above all the wonder of those structures that simply fascinated Linilla, who was in awe.
"I am truly in another world..." Linilla thought to herself as she observed the whole atmosphere of the city so warm that it simply seemed to fill something she didn't even know she had, that emptiness she never knew how to identify.
Simply incredible.
Her happiness was such that she didn't realize where she stepped and ended up falling down the small slope getting dirtier, but in the end she ended up falling on the street in front of the city, leaving the guards surprised by that dirty girl.
-This... I don't know where I am... could you help me? -Linilla replied, totally dizzy from all the turns she took, thus making the guards finally act to help the poor lady.
Though one of the guards noticed the short swords she was holding, realizing that they are weapons summoned for a hero.
Is this girl a summoned one to take the role of Heroine?
..........................................
Linilla finally managed to clean all the dirt and blood from that beast, being cleaner she thanked the kind people who helped her and continued on her way.
Which of course... is none, she was completely lost.
Looking from one side to the other she tried to find ways to work to at least get money, but in the process she stumbled over someone, regaining consciousness she realized it was the back of a man, so wide that from a certain perspective it looked like a mountain in front of her.
The person turned to see her, because she felt someone collided with her back, her eyes caught the girl with hair like the rays of the sun and eyes as blue as the sky, with delicate but defined features, but her eyes caught the short swords she had on the belt that rested on her slim waist.
While Linilla observed the person in front of her, with hair as black as the darkness itself, and his ruby red eyes which seemed to glow in the darkness of his shadow, dressed in simple black clothes that made him stand out but the most visible thing about him, is the great sword resting on the hip of the subject, which seemed to resonate dark energy but not harmful to humans....
Huh?
How does she know it wasn't harmful to humans?
Without trying to give the matter so much thought, wiping herself lightly, she looked firmly at the boy, who was surprised by this gesture of the girl.
-Please excuse me, I was distracted and I bumped into you without meaning to," Linilla begged so as not to try to make enemies in the city.
-Ah... sure, relax, it was nothing... in fact it felt like a cute bunny bumped into my back," said the boy gracefully making Linilla use her imagination to recreate the scene, her being a bunny bumping into him in a comical way.
And a throbbing vein appeared on Linilla's forehead because of it.
-I'm not a rabbit! -Linilla grumbled as she pouted her face as she watched the boy who only laughed joyfully.
Being observed by a boy of white complexion, with the same height as the black-haired boy, hazel eyes and dark brown hair, with clothes that seemed to be of high class observing the others who were walking in the same place.
-Then if you'll excuse me... I should leave," said Linilla as she excused herself for the last time but a hand grabbed hers catching her attention.
And her sky blue eyes met rubies that just seemed to be trying to decipher her.
-You dropped this, miss," the boy said handing her back a small handkerchief that Linilla had dropped and that was given to her by the guards when they helped her.
So she blushed with sorrow and weakly took the handkerchief -Thank you....
-Natsuru, that's my name," the black-haired boy named Natsuru introduced himself as he let go of the girl.
-My name is Linilla," Linilla introduced herself, realizing that Natsuru introduced himself with the intention of knowing her name, besides the fact that near him, she felt in a completely different comfort zone.
-Excuse me for interrupting, but aren't you the last finalist? -said the other boy also interested in the blonde girl, maybe she could be useful for his plans.
-The last finalist of...?! -those strange dizzinesses intensified when she saw him, all kinds of prickles tugged at her heart, it was as if she already knew him all her life.
This guy... he was dangerous
-My name is Alexander Von Hainsffer, second prince of the kingdom of Winchester," said the one identified as Alexander, and hearing the name made Linilla feel even more uneasy around him.
And not only that... she felt that this city, something was wrong... very wrong.
-Nice to meet you, my name is Linilla," Linilla introduced herself again, but Natsuru noticed how she was trembling a little as if she was instinctively terrified of the man present.
-You're not lost, are you? The tests for aspiring Heroes are important to attend early always... but don't worry, I can guide you and talk to my father about it," said Alexander trying to be nice, "by the way you can call me Alex quietly.
-I don't think you should care what time I arrive, it won't affect you anyway - Linilla's hostile reaction was caught by both of them, but the one who felt more confused was Alex himself.
It was supposed that usually with his kind behavior and beauty, he always manages to charm the female candidates, but with Linilla it seems that it didn't work.
-Besides, I think you're making a mistake, I appeared in a nearby forest abandoned... I don't think I'm part of those wannabe heroes, if you don't have anything more important to tell me, I'll say goodbye," Linilla said bravely while her irises for a moment lit up in a threatening golden color, something that neither of them overlooked.
This girl just a few moments ago had an incredibly low spiritual level, you could mistake her even for a harmless bunny but... at that moment she seemed to have exposed her wolf fangs, a wolf disguised as a harmless bunny.
After all, at that precise moment, their spiritual level increased in such a way that it seemed they were in the presence of something superior to the two of them.
Linilla, not noticing all this, simply glanced sideways at Natsuru and said goodbye to him cordially and then left to go on her way.
Natsuru on the other hand simply places his hand on her chin interested in her -Do you know Alexander...? I think I will take her as my disciple.
-He couldn't formulate anything as he looked at his companion.
-If she really is a Hero... I'll go observe the summoning papers, I'll go look for her to ask her to become my disciple... and not only that, I'll complain to the royal court about this mistreatment of hero candidates, considering that she shouldn't have simply appeared there -Said Natsuru calculatingly while his red irises illuminate in a masterful way.
-You don't think it would be a disgrace for the royal family for everyone to find out about that, do you? I hope this has nothing to do with the honorable royal family, does it? -Natsuru's last words were more of a threat not only to him but to his father.
Alexander just clenched his fists where Natsuru couldn't see, "I'll look into it... I hope so, Alexander... I'll go with you.
I hope so Alexander... I will go with you, I don't want information to magically disappear, don't you think so? -Natsuru's ruby eyes collided with Alexander's giving realistic fear to the prince -I hope you pray enough so that what I think happened doesn't happen.
And so they both started to walk towards the royal castle but, Natsuru, turned one last time where Linilla was walking with a heartbeat appearing in his heart, like a hunch that that girl... anyway he must have her by his side.
Like a Dejavu?
