Chapter 9 - Chapter 8: Zelia Kaminy

..........................................

All the memories slowly fall back into the mind of the blonde woman, who was only holding on to the wall of the store, trying to mitigate the migraine she has at the moment.

Linilla slowly looked at the woman present, with long light green hair, who was only looking at what was happening to her in a strange way.

-Zelia..." Linilla tried to keep her dignity, but honestly her head was spinning, she really wanted to ask, "What is going on?

-It seems that you are just now getting rid of the chains that make you forget," commented Zelia calmly as she approached Linilla.

Just then Natsuru walked in with a girl with long bubblegum pink hair, slightly stoutly built, dressed as a blacksmith, who had a strange look on her face as she raised an eyebrow.

-Can you tell me what's going on here? -asked Natsuru quizzically as he watched what appeared to be Zelia harassing Linilla.

Zelia noticing the matter becomes very alarmed or rather blushes in embarrassment as she tried to deny any accusation towards her person, but Linilla raised a hand trying to stop any misunderstanding.

-Stop right there, the girl next to me didn't do anything to me... I just have a migraine ¬- she quickly affirmed while trying to calm the situation in the area.

But the pink-haired girl, noticed something abnormal in all this, and that was all the energy that seemed to overflow from Linilla so suddenly, but this was not spiritual energy.

This was definitely abnormal.

-Natsuru... I have to talk to you," said the woman looking sideways at the Duke, who simply nods but not without looking sideways at the girl he knows too well.

-Well, come with us Elisa," commented Natsuru finally introducing the woman by the name of Elisa Han, a blacksmith woman who was the best at this, the girl with long pink hair and blacksmith clothes only smiled sideways while wiping the sweat from her forehead.

-You will also come with us," said the Duke observing the woman who only nodded slightly, after all she can't refuse the Duke of Windey, even if she is a heroine in proof of another hero.

The one with the bow to be specific.

Therefore, everyone present left the place, although the Duke was worried.

..........................................

Linilla, without that migraine that plagued her head, trying to fit those memories of the future or their repetitions? She doesn't know what to say about it, but one thing she is sure about it.

The woman in front of her, she really knows her, long light green hair as well as her green eyes like jade itself, a stunning figure, she was currently wearing a thin dress but even she could see the dagger in the hem of her right high stocking, so if she were to attack her, she could defend herself very easily.

Besides...

"This energy similar to mine but it seems to crackle like lightning" thought Linilla observing the woman in front of her, name Zelia Kaminy.

-Linilla, can you remember now? -asked Zelia with a small smile on her face as she tried to make friendly conversation.

-I barely know a few things, I feel too many gaps and my head hurts too much," answered Linilla as she slowly calmed down her big migraine, but she fixed her gaze on the girl in front of her, "but I can remember you, Zelia.

Zelia, hearing that news, smiled big and full of happiness.

-But... you are a goddess, aren't you? -asked Linilla looking curiously at the girl in front of her, who had a slight smile on her face when she heard that.

-Curious about it? The green-haired girl's wild smile embraced Linilla completely with a feeling of adrenaline, at that moment energy was gathering in the palm of Zelia's hand.

An electrifying green, crackling, condescending energy was present in the palm of her hand, a great blizzard appeared in the whole room, making Linilla's eyes open wide.

Especially since she felt familiarity with her aura as well, as if she could do something similar.

-Yes, I am a goddess... more specifically the one of storms -Zelia confirmed as she stopped using her aura keeping it deep in her soul, then looking at Linilla -and you are a goddess too, Linilla.

-I... a goddess? -Linilla asked as she placed her clenched hand on her chest, trying to understand what they were telling her, a part of her felt that what they were saying was indeed the truth.

-That's right, for that... Linilla Erder, you need to understand about the first goddess of souls... and about the reboots," spoke Zelia while holding her cup of hot tea, the reflection of the green-haired woman was present in the liquid of the tea.

While all this was going on, in the Duke's office, both Natsuru and Elisa were talking in their respective places.

Elisa, who had a slightly indifferent look on her face, looked at the Duke out of the corner of her eye and then put the cup on the nearby table, with a serious look she confronted him.

-Duke, with all due respect... the girl you have brought and whom you ask me to make weapons for... has no affinity with spiritual energy," said the woman while placing her hammer on her legs.

Natsuru only nodded at that, the blonde girl definitely has no affinity with prana or any derivative, you could say she is the total definition of a magical cripple.

But...

-she is not normal- Elisa finished commenting, making the Duke squint his eyes, he knew perfectly well that the woman in front of him is too much affinity with magic and prana, not for nothing she can mold the heroes' weapons with extreme tranquility.

-I know... she is a case like Zelia... no, she is even a rarer case," Natsuru declared while fixing his gaze on the ground and then observing the woman, "you know perfectly well about the goddess of souls, don't you?

The pink-haired woman opens her eyes wide as she understands that the girl may be an anomaly... even a singularity.

-You know... that the empire of Menchester will want with all its might to bring their goddess back... right? -Elisa was extremely nervous, after all... the strongest empire on the continent, praises and prays for the coming of the goddess of souls.

If Linilla Erder turns out to be the goddess' hostess and they find out about her deal in Winchester....

Natsuru on the other hand was seriously looking at the documents on her desk, Elisa at that moment opened her eyes as she connected the dots.

-Natsuru... do you want to give her the Duchess's seat...? -Elisa's question, made Natsuru just raise his gaze towards Elisa, completely serious.

The crazy idea slowly became clear to the Herrera who only started to open her eyes, completely dumbfounded.

-Do you... plan to give her the seat of the Duchess and get the alliance with the Menchester Empire... you Natsuru von Windey... do you plan to rebel against the king? -At Elisa's last question, Natsuru just looked her straight in the face.

-Elisa... What will you do with the weapons I gave you? -The girl only sighs, she can't do anything about the Duke's decisions, the aristocrats are also on her side, probably angry at the unusually high taxes and the bad treatment of the royal family, it's obvious that a future rebellion is probably in sight.

-Linilla's strange energy is abnormally strong but not impossible to use for her weapons, but I have to mention that I can't build anything new for her... we need a relic," said Elisa calmly while looking at the Duke, "a relic from the age of the gods.

-Do you know that it's almost impossible to get a relic from the era of divine rain? -Natsuru answered with a serious look while clutching his temples.

-I know, but for now we can't do anything with her weapons, no iron in this world will be able to withstand Linilla's divine power... Zelia was able to find her divine weapon so she could do it too," Elisa commented calmly while fixing her gaze on Natsuru, "I will do my best to modify Linilla's short weapons but be aware that she needs her divine weapon.

-I understand," was the only thing Natsuru clarified as she let her go, Elisa leaving the office could only cling to the nearby wall, completely scared.

If the Duke is really going to rebel against the king... this will be complete chaos.

"Linilla Erder, you are probably the last singularity of this decaying peace" thought Elisa seriously as she left the great mansion with much to think about.

..........................................

Natsuru being left alone at his desk, he was unusually serious, he never thought of doing anything like that but it had all the looks of it, if he got to put Linilla as the Duchess of Windey it is with much obviousness that with her good work on the borders, they would give her the necessary support as long as they had their goddess where she should be.

"The Empire of Menchester" thought Natsuru, certainly the empire starts from the very foundation of the kingdom when of the three sons, the one who left the kingdom in disgust decided to found his own not so far from Winchester, to prove to his ancestors that his path was the one they wanted to follow for the future of the Winchester kingdom.

Thus was born the early kingdom of Menchester, polytheistic, began to spread its influence over Winchester, under its religion which is the goddess of life and souls, one of the 4 goddesses that survived before the mercy of the Multiversal god, the human monarch, Alky Kyline.

Since then under the look into the future, they advanced rapidly in many fields including magic, and under an alliance with a potential outside this continent, they became an empire, the strongest in the whole continent.

Gradually the kingdom of Winchester became dependent on the empire and under the destruction of the state budget produced by the Winchester royal family, this same kingdom became completely dependent.

Under the many debts of the royal family to the continental bank, there were no options left....

The Duke knew perfectly well that if it were not for the duchy, this kingdom would have fallen long ago... what he is doing can be perfectly interpreted as a rebellion.

But...

"Linilla..." that girl with golden hair, eyes like the sea itself and a sense of security and calmness lived.

He's not going to let her go so easily, even if he's considered a traitor.

- "It's not like there's anything to protect in this shell of a kingdom either," putting those thoughts aside, Natsuru simply went on with her work, albeit with a faint smile as she looked at the desk beside her empty.

"What would Linilla look like sitting there?" that thought made Natsuru's eyes widen slightly as she blushed hugely.

On the other hand, the other heroes were preparing for the big competition that was to be held to define the real skilled heroes, but they were all doubtful about something.

The Duke of Windey's decision.

There were two ladies of the nobility, talking about that decision the Duke made, after all bringing a heroine on trial and having her win the contest, is putting her on the same level of respect as him.

It's like trying to say that this girl could be a candidate to take the Duchess's seat.

And in the royal family, a glass fell on the floor breaking in the process, a blonde girl but that color being plain and a pompous dress was full of anger, gritting her teeth, if it's true what I hear then the Duke wants nothing to do with the royal family.

-Why? Why doesn't the Duke want to have anything to do with me? -The woman seemed to be biting her nails out of sheer fury and frustration.

Alex, who was near the spot and still calmly sipping his tea, glared at the girl next to him.

-Sarasha, you must maintain your dignity as a princess," she scolded her seemingly sister, who was clenching her fists in anger.

-You don't understand, brother! I have to have the Duke on our side... if not -afraid of losing all their luxuries by losing the only thing keeping them afloat from their father's gigantic debt.

Alex simply sighed -if only you were interesting to the Duke you wouldn't be in this trouble... and the only one he found interesting is not interested in our kingdom at all.

Sarasha growled in anger as she looked at the woman who seemed completely indifferent in the room, a red-eyed black-haired woman who simply looked at the sky with a spectral calmness.

Then she sighed as she put down her cup.

-Could you stop talking about me? -said the woman calmly as she finished putting down the cup of tea, with that serious look, and a spectral aura.

-Mayasha, please... we must fight for our kingdom, we cannot lose the Duke," pleaded Sarasha with some tears in her sky blue eyes.

-You know, Sarasha... I've been thinking about it," said Mayasha while adjusting her hair with a serious look, and then glared at her sister, "but I'm not interested in preserving this useless kingdom anymore...

-Right now... this kingdom will die the moment the singularity enters the contest," said Mayasha with a big arrogant smile making princess Sarasha and prince Alexander sweat.

Mayasha simply left the place with that arrogant smile, while a giant aura of dark energy spread all over the place.
