Synopsis
"Shhhh," he cut me off, his palms spreading on the revealed skin of my abdomen. His index fingers made their way into the waistband of my sweatpants as he pressed his front closer to my behind. "Don't shush m-" I tried to argue. "I said so," he stated, his tone going deeper as his hand went lower, this time to the waistband of my panties. I couldn't control my breathing anymore, more so as his teeth lightly grazed my neck. "So you better obey." ^^^^^^^ They say "A night in Vegas can change your life." Chapter 1 - Vegas

A night in Vegas can change your life

Rachel's POV

"Holy shit," Debby murmured the instant we stepped foot into the luxury double queen room of one of the hotels in Las Vegas.

Luggage in hand, I couldn't speak as I was rooted in my spot, my body encased in high-waisted jeans and a red fluffy blouse, brunette hair tied in a knot.

Brown eyes scanned the space, from the expensive brown and black carpet below the black ankle boots I had on, to the spotless light blue painted wall that corresponded with the white ceiling.

Golden lights sparkled from the beautiful chandelier. A single white couch was to my right beside a very wide window that overlooked the beautiful city, a chair and table facing it and I could imagine spending my time there with a book in hand as the hours rolled by.

What stole my heart was the double beds which appeared soft, and arranged alongside each other with a small space in between. Its red frame and headboard were the same design as the curtains.

"Holy, freaking shit," Debby's voice came from my left. I turned to see drop her bag as she slowly walked through sliding glass doors to the balcony.

Following her figure clad in a see-through blue net blouse above black jeans, my breath hitched as I came to stand on the balcony, the view stealing away all the oxygen in my lungs.

Despite it being late afternoon, the city was bustling with excitement and movement. We could even see the High Roller Observation Wheel. It was at that moment reality hit me and I screamed. "Damn!"

"We are in Vegas," Debby turned her blue eyes to me, her pink glossed lips parting in awe as blonde strands framed her shocked face.

"Fuck yes!" I concurred, a grin beginning to spread on my lips as excitement sneaked into my veins.

"We are in freaking Las Vegas baby!!" Debby suddenly yelled, gripping the barrier and lifting her weight as she shouted at the top of her lungs, a wide smile on her face as she did this. "Yeah!!"

I simply stood there, laughing at my bestfriend, happiness bubbling within me. Our luggage was long forgotten as we drank in the view before us.

^^^^^^

"Eeeeeeekkkk!" Debby screamed in wonder as she recorded a video of the magnificent night beauty of Vegas with her phone. "The view bitches! The freaking view!"

"Keep going and you might lose your voice," I chided in amusement as I admired my slim curves in the black dress. It was designed with a deep V neckline that made my average boobs appear fuller and alluring as it gave enough view of my cleavage.

Its back was made open to showcase the smooth skin before the material joined above my ass to hug the plump flesh there and flowed to my ankles. Despite its length, the dress was specifically designed to cause havoc as it had slits on the outer sides of my thighs, running high up to my waistline.

4-inch black stilletoes, minimal makeup, a high ponytail that had my midnight curly strands fall loosely on my back and enchanting brown eyes. You could say I was a walking seductress.

If I doubted how I looked, the expression on my best friend's face when she caught sight of me confirmed it. "Well, damn girl! You come off like a fucking seductress!"

"I know," I beamed with pride and took the opportunity to access her outfit. She was in an off-the-shoulder silk red dress, the back opened to reveal a sneak peek of her curvy ass, the length stopping just an inch below the full mound.

Debby was a lot curvier than I was with amazing boobs and ass that made any cloth she wore look like something from Victoria's Secret. She was beautiful with a heart of gold.

"But you." I wriggled my brows provocatively while I eyed her up and down. "You look hot enough to set the coolest volcano to eruption."

"Your words melt my heart darling," she murmured in appreciation and winked.

"That's exactly what I was going for my love," I blew her a kiss and joined our fingers together, a squeal following after in excitement.

"So are you ready for the first-ever vacation of your life?" She implored the moment we were done with our squealing.

"A vacation in Vegas?" I questioned seriously as I picked up a black pouch and slung the chain handle on my shoulder. "Bitch, I was born ready."

Hand in hand, we exited our hotel room, our eyes sparkling, lips parted in a grin hence we knew we deserved this. We had worked our butts off to build an exquisite clothing line in two years that shocked even our families and colleagues.

Six months after graduation from college with no reasonable job and pay that could make up for all the hardships we went through in college, we decided to dump our certificates and think of something.

I had always had a knack for beautiful clothes and most times when I had enough money saved, I made a design of the kind of attire I wanted and handed it over to a tailor that could do justice to the drawing.

Coupled with that, I knew how to choose materials and grade clothes, be it the original piece or a fake one.

How did we get the idea of making a clothing line? Well, it happened one day when I got home to our apartment in New York fuming at how this certain lady ruined my dress which I had planned to wear to my cousin's wedding.

Debby being the sweetheart she was had collected the scrap from me and somehow miraculously turned it into the most beautiful blouse I had ever seen. She had learned tailoring as a skill sometime in our college years but never put it to good use till that day.

At the wedding, I had put on the dress-turned-blouse by Debby with classy black slacks and heels. I got lots of compliments and when I told them it was Debby's doing, they all asked for a replica.

That my dear was how we began R&D Designs. Me being the designer and Debby the head seamstress. At the age of twenty-five, we made money in two years that no job could have given us in five years. After saving up, we decided to spend a little on this vacation.

The elevator dinged as we arrived on the ground floor of the hotel. Elbows still linked together, we waited for others to alight before we did and sauntered into the lobby, our heels clicking on the tiles that were too neat you could see your reflection on them if you tried.

It was as if the heavens wanted us to display our madness hence after only a few feet in, the background music changed to one that made us share a knowing glimpse and break out in smiles as we belted out the lyrics.

"Come on, come on, turn the radio on

It's Friday night, and it won't be long," I began, disentangling my elbow from hers.

"Gotta do my hair, put my make-up on

It's Friday night, and it won't be long," she continued after me in a loud voice, drawing attention from other guests who were roaming around.

"Til I hit the dance floor, hit the dance floor

I got all I need." I flipped my hair and waved my palms in front of my face, not seeming to care as we danced toward the rolling entrance doors.

"No, I ain't got cash, I ain't got cash

But I got you, baby," Debby winked at a dark-skinned man with short dreads and an amazing figure who smirked in return.

"Baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight," she called at me as we approached the door.

"I love cheap thrills," we both chorused as the barrier slid open for us to escape the numerous stares.

"That was fun," I laughed as we were outside, the bustle of the city welcoming us. Nothing could hide the amazement from my expression, "Here we come bitches!"

"Momma's gonna get shagged tonight," Debby twerked her ass which I tapped as a taxi rolled by. Giggling, she grabbed my hand and dragged me towards it.

"Where to?" The driver asked as we got in.

"Delight Palace," I blurted with excitement and he nodded, setting the car in motion. Relaxing in my seat, I let out a contented sigh, "feels good to say that."

"Oh my God look," Debby drummed my lap, some minutes later. Pulling my attention away from the window, I whirled to see her face filled with awe. "Lorenzo Peters is currently at Delight Palace."

"Shut up!" I exclaimed and snatched the phone from her hold. Gawking at the most handsome man on earth, my mouth watered as I drooled at his perfectly sculptured face.

Grey eyes, slightly crooked nose, jaw as sharp as the pyramids in Egypt, high cheekbones, sexy lips, and roughly styled black curls that I want to run my slender fingers through.

"Holy shit," I let out as Debby's words were confirmed by the caption. 'A little bummed and decided to go for a game at Delight Palace'

"It's crazy," Debby uttered as I handed back her phone. "What's the possibility of us meeting him?"

"0.0001%," I murmured in response, prompting a pout to settle on her lips and I shook my head in amusement while my mind flashed back to my actions 3 years ago.

*Flashback*

"What would you do if you have the sudden thought to do something but you think it unreasonable and a waste of time so you keep pushing the idea out of your head?" I let out, eyes fixed on Debby in our apartment.

"And it keeps coming back now and then," she let out before I could continue. I nodded in response and observed her frown. "Does this something have to do with a prank?"

Chuckling, I shook my head. "No."

"Murder?" She implored. I gaped at her in bewilderment. "Jumping off a cliff?" She went on to ask.

"You know I'll never do that." I shivered in response.

"If it's not anything absurd or illegal, then do it," she blurted, and I considered her words. "What's the worst that could happen?"

Mustering up courage I typed his name in the search bar. Clicking on his profile, I wasted no time selecting the message icon and began typing.

Um hey, good day.

I know this will come off as weird but I just summoned the courage to do this because it's been bugging me for a while now.

I just wanted to tell you how amazing of an actor you are and I don't just appreciate your physical outlook but your mental one too. It takes a lot to make use of that God-given talent and I'm glad you are making a hit from yours.

Phew, it's out in the open. Anyway, bye, though I know there's a 100% chance you might not read this, have a nice life

*End Of Flashback*

"Allow a girl to dream!" She pouted snapping me back to the present.

"Shut up and get out," I nudged her as the taxi halted in front of the magnificent building, its walls shining as all the lights were lit up. "Can I just live here forever?"

"That's only possible if you end up getting married to a renowned celebrity or maybe get married to some rich tycoon," she retorted, her mood still sour from my words of earlier. "So where are we headed from here?"

"Glamour." My mouth curved in a grin as adrenaline pulsed through my veins. "I'm ready to get wasted and laid."

"That's the spirit girl," Debby beamed, and seconds after, I was being pulled across the concrete as I allowed her to lead me.

It took us about ten minutes to find our way and when we finally arrived, I couldn't contain my gasp. It was everything I expected and more. The beauty of the place was so dazzling that I was nearly moved to tears.

"Somebody pinch me," Debby croaked, her eyes shining. Squeezing her palm on my shoulder, we weaved our way to the bar where we ordered shots of tequila and downed at least 3 at a stretch.

"It's time to shake some booty!" I yelled above the music and strolled hand in hand to the dance floor that was crowded with hundreds of excited adults who are ready to let loose.

Finding a safe space, I permitted myself to dwell in the moment. To spice things up, the song changed to Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran, causing Debby and I to laugh like maniacs.

'The club isn't the best place to find a lover

So the bar is where I go, my body began swaying as I started belting out the lyrics

'Me and my friends at the table doing shots

Drinking fast and then we talk slow,' I allowed the music to take over as I shut my eyelids, my head moving from side to side, inciting my ponytail to swing with every move.

I continued to murmur the words as my fingers found a spot on my waistline before I slid them down slowly, tracing a line to my hips, thighs, and the bare skin of my lap which was revealed by the dress, opening it wider in a sensual manner.

My eyes flashed open as the whole crowd joined in the second stanza, making the environment buzz with a kind of high I caught.

We kept dancing, the tequila of earlier beginning to create a tempo in my system, a tempo that I loved and prayed would carry me for the rest of the night.

If only I knew those tequila shots will come biting me in the ass later as I felt someone's gaze.
