It Chapter 2: Class quest
Calamity Day: 19:07:56
"Sigh, I have less than one day left." 19 hours seven minutes and fifty-six seconds. This was the amount of time left before Tai Xin would be teleported to a world filled with calamity.
Before that, he needed to do everything to become stronger. That was the only way to gain a high-level achievement within the world where he would be teleported.
The calamity world. Every player would be teleported to different worlds filled with calamity. If one survived the calamity they would gain a skill. If the player was a little stronger he might attempt to complete some quests and become stronger.
But then there were those hardcore players risking their avatar and account just to dominate the calamity. If somehow any player dominated the calamity they were facing they would be greatly rewarded by the calamity spell!
Such players could be counted in a single hand. These players were the leaders of calamity online managing high guilds or ruling places. The calamity online would work according to their will.
They were the true tyrants of Calamity Online. The absolute power of it.
Tai Xin hopped to do that. And for that, he needed to use everything that could increase his strength.
Survival of the fittest!
Tai Xin shook his head. Standing up he looked at his palm. The next second he closed his eyes trying to focus on the paths built inside his body.
"Procellaesse Tonitearuales"
But as his mana was blocked within his mortal body he couldn't even complete the first step of using a spell.
After sighing once again he decided to try and perform nonverbal magic. Though nonverbal spells were usually weaker than verbal spells they were more practical and way faster than verbal spells and so were very efficient.
Tai Xin quickly performed three basic hand signs hoping that he would be successful in performing the magic. However, there was no result proving that it was just a mere futile effort to try and perform magic without a class related to it and without mana.
"Looks like it's time to perform my first quest." Said Tai Xin as he looked at the quest panel.

Tai Xin looked at the sword near him with determination. It was a long sword. In the headquarters of of Red Calamity Guild, there were decorations of swords, daggers, and many more weapons. Even if they were mere decorations they were the real deal.
He then looked around him. Tai Xin was currently present in a single-room apartment. In this chaos, there were many rooms that were isolated as humans in this situation were united. In a single house, many people stayed together as there was a sense of security within them if they did so. This was human nature.
Tai Xin shook his head getting rid of these thoughts. A wry smile appeared on his face, and simultaneously a glint flashed through his eyes.
His finger slightly trembled as he clicked the swordsman quest.
However just as he was about to click it...
Crack!
Crack!
"What in the actual f*ck! Is this world targeting me?! Or is the spell targeting me?!"
Tai Xin looked behind him as all the hairs on his body stood up.
A crack! A crack had appeared! Judging from all the commotion it was causing, this definitely wasn't a low-rank crack that Tai Xin faced when he was in the headquarters of the Red Calamity Guild.
This was a high-ranking crack! Was he that unlucky?!
However, Tai Xin once again took a deep breath and calmed himself down. He quickly clicked the swordsman quest.
His heart palpitated as his instincts screamed to turn back and focus on the danger. His back was completely drenched with sweat.
He quickly turned looking at the crack that was spreading like a spider web.
'Haa.'
Tai Xin sighed. He had been sighing too much nowadays. He looked at his Forearm on which there was the word [Player] printed on it like a tattoo with red ink.
This appeared on the forearm of every player showing that they were players.
'Haa, this isn't a game anymore.'
He quickly dashed towards the crack within erupted the second he did. Shattering like glass many monsters emerged from it.
Tai Xin's eyes widened the moment he saw the horrifying beasts coming out of the crack.
"Now or never!" As he had leveled up and every one of his stats had a +1 increase, due to him leveling up he was much faster and stronger than before.
He quickly took a basic swordsman stance, remembering it from the battles that had occurred in the calamity online, the battles that he had fought and dominated. These moves were practically integrated into his mind, now he just needed to integrate those skills into his bones and muscles, into his muscle memory!
Basic sword stance!
Slash!
Stab!
Uppercut!
Trust!
A hole appeared on the forehead of the goblin that was trying to attack Tai Xin due to the stab. Tai Xin then quickly slashed the next goblin that appeared right beside him.
Green blood splattered all around them causing the scene to look very disturbing, at least from the perspective of a goblin.
Tai Xin's heart started to beat faster and his hands became a little sour however he continued slashing his sword as the green blood continued to flow like an endless stream of the fountain.
'I guess I look more like a bloody butcher, rather than a noble sharp swordsman.' Looking at all those dead bodies and the bloody mess he had created Tai Xin couldn't help but comment.
That was a mistake as a small wolf appeared next to Tai Xin and successfully injured him while he was busy in his thoughts for a split second with the help of its claws.
A bloody claw mark appeared on his left foot. "Not good!"
Tai Xin. He belonged to the peaceful era of Earth. The era where a single paper cut or accidentally stubbing the toe would make a person feel like he's present in hell. Much less a bloody scratch that tore through the muscles.
Gritting his teeth and trying to bear with the pain Tai Xin transferred all the anger and pain to his sword slashing right at the wolf.
However, the small wolf was extremely fast disappearing from the spot. Tai Xin was met with a dull clank produced by the clash of the tip of his sword and the hard floor.
The next second the wolf appeared next to his right foot attempting to rip it with its mouth.
"Argh!" The second the wolf bit his leg. He quickly shifted the sword to his dominant arm, his left one, and proceeded to slash decapitating the wolf's head and killing it on the spot.
Tai Xin's eyes dilated as he looked at the corpse of the wolf. His heartbeat became faster as his breath felt hot. It was getting difficult to breathe.
What had surprised him was the fact that he was able to use this advanced level martial arts. Even if it was just it's the first move!
[Terror Lightning Style]
[1ST Move: Lightning Fast Strike!]
