Martin woke up the next morning as a happy man, he had awoken three runes.
There was no one like that in the magic history from what he had read. He was the first person to achieve such magnificent feat.
School had turned to be very good.
It seemed that news moved fast in the school. Jin, Rob, and Bill didn't show up to school the next morning.
It was break time, and Martin thought he should go outside and read, he wasn't ready to expose his rune yet, he still needed to first three spells so he would be able to start using magic.
The runes had seven seperate lines which joined together to form one symbol. It was just like the awakening he had done on his own, he needed to approach each line seperately and use his mana like a lasso, capture them and put them in their place.
The sky shone with a bright blue luminesce, as Martin looked closer, he realised that there was a rainbow in the sky and it was bright and pretty.
He closed his eyes as he laid his back on a tree while he sat on the fresh grass in their school garden.
He thought about what he would do when he had finally mastered all these powers. He wondered how long it would take for him to return back to his own world.
He had read through the stages of magic, and right now he couldn't even think of killing a Novice level beast and these were the weakest kind of beast.
"I could use my raw strength."
Martin said as he flexed his muscles, his raw strength was at least enough to punch a Novice beast into the spirit realm.
Martin still kept his eyes closed, he decided to try if he could connect with his fire rune lines when someone interrupted him.
"It's you!"
Martin heard the silky voice that flowed into his ears and he knew who it was in that instant.
"Red Lady." He said as he looked up at her with a smirk.
"My name is Tana." The girl narrowed her eyes as she looked at him, why was he sleeping out here in the open? Was he that lazy?
He should have been cultivating instead. She couldn't help but frown at his display of nonchalance.
She had seen him from quite a distance but she didn't know what propelled her to come look at him.
"Tana… why are you here?" A flirty smile hung on Martin's lips as he spoke.
"You miss me already? I understand, it's not your fault that I'm so handsome, it's a burden I have to deal with."
Martin said with his hand over his face covering his pretentious look that expressed despair and tiredness.
"..."
Tana looked at him and her brows creased, she didn't know what to tell him so she just pouted her lips and walked away.
"Wait… come back Tana."
Martin yelled out for her, and she stopped but she didn't turn to return back to him or look at him causing him to stand up to go meet her.
"Thanks for saving me the other time. I owe you one." He scratched the back of his head as he spoke.
The girl kept quiet for a minute before turning back to glare at him.
"I didn't save you. You just got in the way of my gemstone, that's all."
She said with a humph and was about to leave when Martin stopped her again.
"Yeah. I know. By the way, what was the use of that gem?"
Martin was curious to why she had come all the way from town just to collect such an ordinary looking rock.
Tana turned to look at him with a confusing look on her face, how could this boy not know about the beast gemstones and their uses.
She sighed and sat down on the grass, gesturing Axton to sit down with her.
Martin sat down to as he faced her, the truth was that he knew about the beast gemstones, he just wanted to know why she needed it in particular and maybe he wanted to spend some time with her and feast his eyes on some rare and exquisite goods.
_Focus_
Martin muttered to himself and soon Tana's voice that had suddenly faded into the background returned back to him.
"Apparently the beast gemstones can be used as a source of natural mana. Unlike us, these beasts don't need to rid their body of any unclean material, they undergo the cleansing process naturally and it is why their gemstones are so pure."
Tana explained, and Martin nodded his head, looking directly at her boobs… cough, face, he was following her every words.
Well, just every of her important statements
"I just wanted that gemstone because King level beasts rarely come around and Novice beasts do not have these gemstones as they are unable to utilize mana. Getting that gemstone and a lot more of them allows me to power my cultivation room."
Tana smiled proudly, she had gone through a lot alongside with the help of her uncle and other family members just to get those stones.
_Such exquisite softness. It jiggles as she moves her hands. This premium privilege! _
Martin could multitask and it was a skill he had learned in his previous life from his countless studying before he finally graduation.
He thought about what she had said and decided to speak up.
"Oh I understand, you need these gemstones to cultivate right?"
Tana nodded her head, she couldn't understand why she felt comfortable around this strange boy.
Was it the confidence he emitted while talking to her? Wasn't that he didn't even care about who she was and the harm talking to her would bring to him?
Other guys would dare not look at her face, but he was looking straight at her face and admiring her body at the same time.
Yes. She noticed his eye movements.
How can someone be so perverted and confident in his perversion.
"What's your current cultivation?" Martin asked her, he didn't know that people could have their own cultivation room, he had read that getting the gemstones of King Level Beasts were particular expensive but here was this girl saying she had her own cultivation room.
"I'm about to break through."
Tana said with a small yet confident smile.
"Oh, you want to learn your second spell, which means you are still at Elemental Initiate level uhn… " Martin understood.
It was hard to know all the three spells of your elemental rune and he understood that this girl cultivated the fire rune so it would be especially hard for her to breakthrough to Apprentice level which meant she could create her own spell.
"No… I'm going to break through and enter the Apprentice level." Tana frowned, why did this pervert doubt her abilities?
Martin's eyes immediately shot up from their fixed position at her exposed cleavage before staring at her, after a few seconds, he let out a gasp.
"Fuck me! You aren't lying!? Apprentice level!"
He had been wasting away his time day dreaming about being strong while others were passing him and breaking levels.
Just this young girl who looked eighteen years old was in apprentice level. If he told the people in his class, he was sure they would commit suicide.
Even him felt the urge to commit suicide.
Tana would break a record if she was able to reach Apprentice level at the age of eighteen.
Wait he had to confirm it first.
"How old are you?" His eyes narrowed as they stared intently at her.
"I'll be eighteen in a week."
_Ah fuck!_
He was right, she was nothing short of a prodigy.
Martin only smiled, he now felt the urge to boast about his three awakened elements so he could put the girl in her place.
He shook his head, if anyone knew about his talent, a lot of people would come looking for him and if he were to refuse, they would kill him.
If they couldn't have a huge money tree to themselves, it was better to destroy the seed before it even developed and Martin didn't want that for himself.
"I remember you saying you owe me. I want to use that now. I am inviting you to my birthday party Axton. I want you to be there."
Tana said as she stared at him, she knew her father would never allowed her to do this especially to Axton who had defied him a lot of times but she enjoyed talking to the boy.
His expressions made her smile and she rarely smiled due to how hard she was forced to train everyday and she was constantly being lectured on how to be better than everyone because she was born the first daughter to her family head.
"Oh sure, why not? Where's your home?"
Martin asked her. He would definitely come to her place even if it was on the other side of the city, who wouldn't want to spend time with such a beautiful lady like her.
Tana was about to speak when she heard her name being called causing her to abruptly stand up.
"I'll tell you later, my brothers need me. Bye Axton." She said, walking away to the source of the voice that had called her.
Martin stared at her as she went her way, he didn't know why she looked like a sudden cloud of gloom had suddenly appeared over her head when she walked to her so-called brothers, they looked more like perverts to him.
Only a pervert would know a fellow pervert and he was a pervert, proudly.
Well, at least she promised he would see her later.
Martin immediately broke out of his trance, he didn't realize how absorbed he was into her boobs… cough, the conversation, that the air had taken a low drop in temperature.
He could feel every hostile eyes targeted at him and he couldn't understand why, then it clicked, he was talking to the most beautiful girl in the academy.
Every boy had their eyes on her and he had made her to sit down and have a thirty to flirty minutes conversation with him.
Those minutes were the longest minutes on some people's eyes as they all watched their heartthrob talking to some low-life F-class students. It irked them and Martin knew it too.
A lot of trouble was definitely coming his way before the exams but strangely he wanted them to come.
He couldn't build his path to revenge with peace and love, he wanted it to be stained with blood—The blood of those who had wronged him.
Jim and Rob were the first victims and soon there would be more but before that he needed to practice the first spells of his three new elements.
