#Chapter Twenty-Two
Kitty entered the class on Monday and her face fell the moment she saw that she was alone with Becky and her minions. They snickered as she walked in and after she sat down on a seat that was far away from them, they stalked over to where she was and swiped her bag from her hands.
"Let's see what trash this bitch carries!" Becky laughed as she unzipped her bag and turned it upside down, sending everything inside out onto the ground. Her compact mirror shattered upon the impact and all her pens clattered to the ground along with several loose papers which flew in every direction. Well, those were her favourite pens but now they're not going to work anymore. Becky picked up some of the papers and crumpled them while she tore others, her minions following suit.
"Your fashion sense is crap," Sasha told Kitty. "What kind of bag is this? It's so ugly."
"Shut up, Sasha," Becky said and Sasha cowered. "Kitty, tell me, I heard you have a boyfriend."
"I do," Kitty said.
"He must be enjoying himself, fucking a minor," Becky said. "What are you going to do if I report him?"
Kitty didn't say anything.
"Though I guess you won't be a minor anymore once it's midnight. So you're going to fuck him in the public now, right?"
"It's not like that with Barry," Kitty explained.
"Fuck it isn't," Becky said. "You're like your father, aren't you? Jailbait is everything to the Hales."
Kitty bent down to pick her pens back up. Becky kicked her hands and she lost hold of the pens again.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" Becky mocked. "Why are you suddenly so tame?"
"I understand, Becky," Kitty said to her and a flash of sorrow crossed Becky's face before it devolved into anger again.
"Don't act like you know me, you fucking bitch!" Becky raised a hand up to slap her but Mrs. Edwards was just arriving and she sped forward to catch that hand back.
"Becky! The school doesn't tolerate violence!"
Becky struggled against her grasp. "Let me go!"
"There are cameras in this room, Becky. You wouldn't want the footage to end up online for your followers to see, would you?" Mrs. Edwards threatened and Kitty gasped. Becky's mouth fell open in surprise.
"No," Becky said, settling down immediately.
"Go back to your seats, kids," Mrs. Edwards ordered and it took only one look at their faces to understand that Becky would never, ever forget what just happened.
