SOPHIA'S POV
Well, it was no longer a secret that I was, indeed, nothing to Damien as he remained seated besides her, not even glancing my way for a second, even by accident. It was obviously clear that he was deliberately and consciously avoiding looking my way as I was seated right in front of them and by looking forward he should have at least glanced my way, even for once. He didn't and I know I shouldn't have been bothered by that, but I found myself fuming in rage.
Even if he wanted to bring her along with him, he should have had the least amount of decency to keep her far from him, at least for the public eye.
Well, maybe he just didn't feel the obligation to show me even an iota of respect, as after all, we were not really joined in a marriage of love.
