Aiden: He dug into the soil of the new planet, planting a variety of otherworldly seeds and crops. Turning back to look at the vibrant plants that had already grown, he admired the flowers in unique colors and shapes, the trees bursting with purple and green leaves, and the soft grass that cushioned the ground. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he muttered, "Man, when Star said this would take a lot of work, he wasn't kidding."
He pushed dirt over the freshly dug holes, staring at it for a moment before looking down at his hands. "Hmm, that power I felt earlier... I wonder if I could..." He hovered his hand over the soil, squinting his eyes as he attempted to channel the energy he had experienced during his interaction with Lucium and Galacor.
"Come on, I know it's in there somewhere. Come on..." He pushed himself harder and harder until a small blue spark appeared from his palm. "That's it?! Great, I'm the being of sparks now I guess!!!" Suddenly, a massive blue bolt of lightning shot from his palm into the nearby soil, scorching the surface.
"Wait, no! I didn't mean to burn the ground!" he exclaimed. He noticed that, as soon as he said that, the blue sparks on the ground turned green. Suddenly, the seeds he had planted began to grow at an accelerated rate, replacing the scorched earth. "Wait... Did the sparks from the after-effects change depending on what I was thinking? That's so strange..."
When he tried to take a step closer to where he had zapped the ground, he suddenly appeared around 30 feet away from where he once was. He turned around frantically, confused at what just happened, "What the hell was that?! How did I, when did I, I AM SO CONFUSED!"
Suddenly, before he could ponder what was going on any further, there was a loud bang from a white rift opening. Its glowing power was almost blinding to Aiden, he tried to cover his eyes to see what was going on.
Galacor: He stepped through the rift, closing it behind him as he assessed the area around him before noticing Aiden was the only one here, "Where is Star kid?..."
Aiden: His eyes widened once he processed who was standing before him, "L-like I would ever tell you where he is!"
Galacor: "Kid, frankly, I don't have time for your bullshit, so if you won't tell me where he is I will extract that information from your ghastly brain." His glowing red blade shot out of his forearm as he began to walk toward Aiden.
Aiden: "I said I AM NOT TELLING YOU!", suddenly burning red bolts of lightning fired from his hands towards Galacor, knocking him away. "Oh, nice! I can get the hang of this!"
Galacor: He stood up slowly, staring Aiden down as he cracked his back, "Fine, you wanna play it that way...Phantom's Mask!" Phantom's Mask appeared to the right side of Galacor, staring Aiden down with its burning red eyes.
Aiden: "Shit, not this thing again..." He could slowly feel some kind of force trapping his body in place. "What the hell?!"
Galacor: "You have fallen right into the Phantom's Gaze, you have become completely immobile." He began to pick up his pace, running toward Aiden with his blades drawn. He swung at Aiden with his blades right as he got close enough.
Aiden: "NO!" He covered his face with his arms, and after a few seconds he realized he was fine, looking around, he noticed that he was around 20 feet away from Galacor suddenly, "How did I get over here?" He looked up toward Galacor, seeing that he was just as confused.
Galacor: He turned towards Aiden quickly, his expression becoming more and more frustrated, "So you unlocked some new abilities since our little encounter huh? Well, it means little...Phantom's World!" A giant cube formed around the two of them, "Phantom's World creates a void crafted from your energy, there is no possible way for you to escape- WHERE DID HE GO NOW!"
He noticed that before the cube could even fully form, Aiden had already escaped. He got rid of the cubed void, looking around before calling his ability again, "Phantom's Mask! Use your radar to find out where that bastard went!" The purple figure of energy floated upwards Into the sky, scanning the planet for any signs of accelerated energy.
Aiden: Before he could be spotted, he attempted to tap into this 'speed', "Come on, just work with me here." Suddenly, sparks of yellow lightning burned the ground underneath his feet and he shot himself toward, his fist landing on Galacors chest. The impact of the punch broke off a piece of his adapting armor and shot him away. "YES!"
Galacor: "Good job kid, my skin and armor can adapt to any attack once it lands on me, you should have made sure it was a lethal hit-" Before he could react, Aiden used his speed again and punched Galacor across the face, cracking his half mask and knocking his body to the ground. "H-HOW THE HELL DID HE MANAGE TO LAND ANOTHER ATTACK!!!"
Aiden: "It's simple Galacor." He appeared behind Galacor, making sure to keep his distance, "I remembered how your interaction went with Star the first time and knew that your body was able to adapt to his attacks until he broke his current willpower limit, but you see your body can only adapt at the same rate as your speed. This means, as long as I move faster than your body can react when I attack, your body will never know how to adapt!"
Galacor: "You arrogant bastard...I WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU PAY FOR YOUR INSOLENCE!!!" Phantomn's Mask appeared right in front of Aiden, sending a barrage of punches his way at extreme speeds, as soon as one attack landed he would be trapped under the Phantom's Grasp.
Aiden: The sparks of lightning under his feet became quicker and stronger, moving his body at an even faster rate, he was able to see each punch and move out of the way of it perfectly, Galacor was just too slow for him. "Is this the best you got!"He appeared before Galacor, swinging another punch at his face, but before it could land, Phantom's Mask grabbed his arm. "What!" He began to feel his energy being drained away from his body.
Galacor: "Confidence, while it is a useful tool, if it becomes too great it can lead to cockiness. You overestimated your new abilities when you have no idea how half of them work, and because of that you are going to die..." He rose to his feet, his blades burning a brighter red, energy surging within them. He held up his hand, swinging it down on Aiden, right as it was about to land, someone had grabbed it.
Radna: He towered over Galacor, his energy creating an aura around his figure, his smile widened as he spoke, "I am going to have to ask you to leave, do you want to do that peacefully or would you prefer to meet my fist."
Galacor: "Do you have any idea who you are speaking to...Phantom's!-" Radna punched him in the face, shattering his half mask and causing blood to spew out from his face as he was sent flying away from them into the ground.
Radna: "My bad man, it just really wanted to meet you." He let out a loud laugh, using runic magic to release Aiden from the Phantom's Grasp.
Aiden: He looked up at Radna, "Thank you." He smiled at him, before turning his attention back to Galacor.
Radna: "No problem kid, now if you just give me one moment." He summoned one of his hooks, spinning it by the chain as he walked toward Galacor. "Attacking a kid is a pretty fucked up thing to do bro, especially considering technically he is already dead."
Galacor: He crawled backward, trying to move as fast as he could away from Radna as he approached, "You have no idea who you are messing with, I am the Phantom Assasin and I will not be insulted by the likes of you!"
Radna: He tilted his head, "I haven't even insulted you, well not yet. Your voice is pretty damn annoying though, I am not gonna lie to ya." He threw his hook at Galacor, but before it could hit he slipped through a small rift in the ground.
Galacor: "I will find Star, and when I do I will kill him and every single one of you too!" His voice faded away as the rift slowly closed.
Aiden: He suddenly began panting, all of that new energy had burned up his energy very quickly, "Hey, thanks for the assist but how did you know I needed help?"
Radna: He turned towards Aiden, "I am not kidding when I say I just so happen to have shown up right as this was going down, I was looking for Star originally but I'm glad I came here first."
Aiden: "That both makes me feel good and bad at the same time, but the timing couldn't have been more perfect. I haven't heard from Star yet, last time I checked with him he said he was going to go find Uriel."
Radna: He nodded, patting Aiden on the shoulder, "I appreciate you telling me that, I know exactly where to look then, try not to get into any more trouble kiddo." He suddenly vanished into a bunch of black smoke.
Aiden: He scratched his chin, "He feels so familiar..." He looked down at the ground, spotting a piece of Galacor's armor that he had chipped off during their encounter. He picked it up slowly, inspecting it, "Hmm...I think I might have an idea."
