Star: He glided softly down to his newly formed planet, admiring Aiden's progress. As he approached, he placed a reassuring hand on Aiden's shoulder and said, "Great job, kiddo! This looks fantastic!"
Aiden: He looked up at Star, giving him a big smile, "Thanks Star! My new powers have been a huge help in accelerating the plant and lifeform growth on the planet!"
Star: He raised an eyebrow at his statement, "Powers? Did you discover something while I was away?"
Aiden: "Well- I did but it wasn't exactly in the best way I suppose." He rubbed his arm.
Star: "What do you mean by that?"
Aiden: "Well that man from the facility back on earth came here looking for you and he tried to get information out of me on your whereabouts, when I refused to give them he attacked me-"
Star: His eyes shot open, "You were attacked!?"
Aiden: "It's fine Star, I was able to hold him off for a long while."
Star: "I explicitly instructed Radna to keep a close eye on you while I was gone!"
Aiden: "Please don't be upset with him, Star. It's really okay! Look, I've discovered I can harness some lightning powers." As he spoke, electricity danced through his fingers, and clouds began to swirl above him. They released gentle rain on the plants below, helping them flourish even more.
Star: He sighed, "While that is really nice buddy, you could have been in hurt or worse."
Radna: He strode over to them, confidently biting into a spiky fruit. "Hey, the kid did well. I kept an eye on him from a distance, ready to step in if he needed anything."
Star: He turned slowly towards Radna, his frustration evident, "You—WATCHED him?" The sharpness in his voice revealed just how upset he was becoming.
Radna: He gestured toward Star with assurance, "I know exactly what I'm doing; I needed to ensure his abilities were fully awakened again."
Star: He blinked, a frown creasing his brow. "What do you mean, 'again'? You keep insisting that something needs to happen once more, and frankly, that's a bold statement for someone claiming to have no memory of their past life. I can't shake the feeling that there's more to this—something you're deliberately holding back from us."
Radna: He crossed his arms, staring Star down. "Aiden, walk away for a moment. Me and Star need to talk."
Aiden: "Okay..." He tucked his head down, heading deep into the woods to not bother the two of them, he couldn't help but feel like he caused an issue.
Radna: "Are you seriously questioning everything I've been telling you?"
Star: He clenched his fists, "What else am I supposed to think, Radna!? You keep talking as if you know everything that's going to happen, and then you go around saying you have no idea! I just want an actual clear answer. Do you remember what happened in your old life or not?" Frustration seeped into their voice, echoing in the tense air between them.
Radna: He looked down, sighing deeply, "There are some things that I can't just tell you-"
Star: "DO YOU REMEMBER OR DO YOU NOT!" His voice roared throughout the planet, startling the life.
Radna: He stared at the disappointment and betrayal on Star's face, "Yes."
Star: He crossed his arms, "And why did you think it was unimportant to tell me? If you knew what was going to happen or what might happen in the future why would you refuse to tell me."
Radna: He sat in silence for a moment, "Because it hasn't been the same always..."
Star: His eyes softened, "What do you mean? You have predicted a lot of things so far what hasn't been the same?"
Radna: He scratched one of his horns, not sure how to explain something like this, "There have been loads of events that have taken place differently, either earlier or completely changed. People I've met have had completely different fates and some even obtained different capabilities than before."
Star: "Is that not how new lives normally go? Nothing can be the same twice."
Radna: "Not like this, everything is different but the same at the same time, this isn't just some standard timeline reset Star, this is a whole new telling. Everything I have been predicting as you say has just been complete guesses, I had no idea if Aiden would obtain his powers again."
Star: "Telling me that is not helping your case, if you were not sure then you shouldn't have taken such a risk. You put his life at stake, he could have died to that maniac!"
Radna: "That's not all of it though..."
Star: He tilted his head a bit, "What does that mean?"
Radna: "When I first managed to come back, I was greeted by...something. I don't know what it was but it told me to not reveal major events that had occurred in my past, whatever it was it knew a lot about me and a lot about you. It told me that if I mentioned huge events to you, things that could help prevent anything it could cause catastrophic changes."
Star: "Do you remember what this thing looked like? Anything at all?"
Radna: "No, all I remember is the conversation we had before I was placed here."
Star: "If telling me about anything causes a huge risk, why would you tell me that we met before or about that Alex person?"
Radna: "For starters, I am almost certain telling you that we have met before was not going to cause anything, and Alex has always been a weird case when I knew him. He never seemed to be tied to anything, he was just...there."
Star: He rubbed his eyebrows, "While I do appreciate you telling me all of this, it is not an excuse. I do not want you to hide anything else from me and if I tell you to do something please follow through with it."
Radna: "Alright, fine I will."
Aiden: "Star!" He ran back out of the woods, approaching the two of them. "Is it okay if I show you something?"
Star: "Yeah, it's fine we just finished up. What is it?"
Aiden: "I have been experimenting with some new materials I've found on this planet and I created these." He held out three golden wristwatches, bulkier than normal human ones with hologram technology screens. "These will allow us to communicate anywhere no matter the distance! If something is to happen again it is probably important for us to reach one another." He handed the two watches to them, putting one on himself. The watches adjusted in size to each of their wrists.
Radna: He smiled, impressed by the kid's extreme knowledge, "Wow Aiden this is amazing. This is definitely going to be helpful."
Aiden: "I hope this makes you feel more comfortable with having to go away Star."
Star: "Thank you, son, I greatly appreciate you doing this. This does make me feel a lot better." He stared back off into deep space, contemplating their next move. "We still need a plan to face Lucium, at our current stage I don't know if any of us are ready to face him yet."
Radna: "I don't know man, I have got two giant fists that say otherwise-" Right as he was speaking, something large crashed into the planet's surface nearby, sending a shockwave towards them and blowing dirt everywhere. "What the fuck!?"
Arch-A: Its corrupted hand gripped its spear as it blew the debris away with its wing. "Mission Objective: Destroy Star and his allies."
