Chapter 10 - "What Have I Done?.."

Deep within the abyss of the Final Breach lies a prism in the shape of a cube, in the total darkness of this void, only the prism shines its rainbow light, its light lives within the world and beyond.

But deep beyond the array of colors, lies a prison within, a place to contain the evil across all that there is and isn't. Greater judgment lies for those who reside here, a judgment that not any other can pass, this is where HE will be judged, it is where HE shall take his final breath.

Andrews: He appeared within the Prism through a diamond gate, once he had stepped through it had closed behind him. He looked around at the crystal walls, seeing the number of creatures contained within red energy beams coming from red shards.

He looked down a hallway that appeared to have no end, hundreds of energy cells lay before him. He pulled the small prism out of his pocket and said, "Show me where the Black-Eyed Demon is...Show me Lucium."

The cube shifted around, and as it changed the colors around it turned bright red, and suddenly a staircase opened up in the floor leading down somewhere, a place where not even the prism light wished to go.

He stared down the stairs momentarily, his hands trembled from the shift in the air, but he recollected himself and marched down to the center of the prism.

Once he had reached the bottom, he opened a large red door that revealed a large room filled with darkness, where the only light that lit up the room was the large red shard that contained the beast in chains.

The demon's arms were strung out in its restraints, kneeling within its containment walls. Andrews' rage bubbled up as he gazed upon the monster who had wronged him and many others. His breathing slowed as his stress levels rose, "I am not as foolish as the others...speak beast."

Lucium: While his body remained trance-like, his voice echoed throughout the chamber: "I suppose you are smarter than most mortals, Detective. I must say I am surprised to see you here; from what I recall, I left you in that infected timeline. Most impressive."

Andrews: He grasped the handle of his firearm, grinding his teeth. "Shut up. You have no right to speak."

Lucium: His head bent up to face Andrews, the darkness of his eyes stared deeply into his soul. His mouth remained still, but his laugh could still be heard. "Foolish human! You do not have the authority to even SPEAK to me in that manner."

"Considering the victories I have over you, I can speak any way I please...speaking of which, do you still mourn the loss of your lover little human?~"

Andrews: His hands began to shake, rage building up to its breaking point. He pulled out his pistol, placing it on Luciums forehead. "Stop it! You know exactly why I am here beast. You have ignored judgement for far too long, I am here to dish out what is rightfully owed to you."

Lucium: His laughter echoed through the room, filling the air with a sense of unease. The overwhelming feeling of fear intensified as he spoke, "You are not strong enough to pass judgement."

Andrews: His grip tightened over the trigger, finally pulling the trigger, blasting a holy shot through the seventh eye of the beast, he watched as Luciums body went still. "Those who fell before you, give me the strength..."

He lowered his gun, his eyes fixated on Lucium's lifeless form. "Those who have fallen, may they find peace," he murmured. With a heavy heart, he averted his gaze from the corpse and drew in a deep, shuddering breath, only to be startled by the haunting sound of chains clinking in the distance.

In an instant, he spun around and saw that Lucium was inexplicably free from the chains that had bound him just moments before. Without a second thought, he reached for his gun, but some unseen force seemed to prevent his hand from grasping it.

Lucium: His neck made a strange snapping noise as he looked down at the fear-struck human. "You know Detective...The funny thing about Angelic Bullets is while they are good at hurting demons and other forces of evil, they are also great and breaking binding seals...such as the one keeping me here~" With the wave of his hand, he sent Andrews's body flying into the wall.

Andrews: He tried to move his form, but he was pinned to the wall. "You bastard, you were planning on me showing up!" He grunted.

Lucium: He lowered himself, coming face to face with Andrews, "I knew you were foolish enough to talk that golden abomination into giving you the prism key. But releasing me was your own doing human, it had nothing to do with me..." He thrust his longer fingers into Andrews's gut.

Andrews: He spat out some blood onto Luciums face, "You bastard...you will- AGHHHH!!!"

Lucium: "Will what?" He turned his hand slightly, and the sound of flesh stretching and ripping grew louder. "Will suffer for all I've done? How will I suffer? Will you make me regret it all? Will you strike me down with your 'will'?"

"No, no you won't because nothing will undo the damage I've done, I enjoy hearing the constant shouts of agony within my head from those who fell to my hands, and your will? There is not enough to even vanquish a bug..."

He ripped his claw from the human gut, "I have much to do, much to slaughter and it is all thanks to you and your hard work Detective~." He crawled his way to the exit, turning back for a moment, "Goodbye, old friend. It was a pleasure working with you~" He laughed as he left his containment cell, the sounds of other inmates being slaughtered grew louder and louder.

Andrews: His body was growing weaker and weaker as it suddenly dropped to the floor, he could barely move, all he could do was think to himself at that moment, "What have I done?.."
