Chapter 12 - The Black-Eyed Bastard

Radna: He licked his teeth, tapping his foot while staring out at the edge of the void from before. His arms were crossed, wondering what Andrews could have done. "I don't like this new feeling, something is crawling under my skin and it points to nothing good."

Star: A golden burst of energy appeared beside Radna, as Star formed beside him. "YES! I finally got teleportation down! I am so tired of appearing between reality!" He turned towards Radna, his excitement dropping as he noticed his posture and expression. "Hey dude are you alright?"

Radna: "I told you not to give that Human the Prism Key and now I have this uneasy feeling.." He tapped his fingers against his arms in both concern and frustration.

Star: "You are still caught up on that? Radna it has been two days since that happened and you've been standing in the same spot since then, I am sure everything is fine."

Radna: "I don't know Star, ever since he left this feeling has been growing in my chest like an infection, I can't help but feel like something is wrong..."

Star: "You are worried that Andrews found some kind of way of releasing Lucium aren't you?"

Radna: "Reading my thoughts is cheating" He gave Star a slight smile, but it fell quickly. "Lucium is an extremely clever bastard, he has figured ways out of billions of situations. I'm unsure if Uriels' chains or my spell can keep him down forever."

Star: He pat Radna on the shoulder, "Don't worry. Even if he found some kind of way to break through your spell, you would need Archangel metal to put a crack in those chains."

Radna: He sighed, "Even so, I still don't think you should have given him that key..."

Star: "I am sure that I made the right decision-" As he spoke, a glowing blue rift opened up before them, and out stumbled Uriel and Andrews. He immediately noticed the two of them looked incredibly exhausted, "Woah! Are you two alright?!" He rushed over to their side.

Radna: He stared at the two of them, noticing a few small bloodstains on Andrews' clothes, "..."

Uriel: He tapped his chest, regaining his energy via holy energy, "We art well, there wast just a little encounter with some Drekans. There wast quite an issue at The Prism."

Radna: "What kind of issue." He approached the two of them, his arms still crossed, staring mainly at Andrews because he knew Uriel wouldn't have messed up.

Andrews: "Nothing we just ran into some grim reapers-" He was cut off mid-sentence.

Radna: He pointed at him, "You're lying. You blink three times when you lie or when you're afraid. Don't make me ask twice. What happened?"

Andrews: He backed up, a wave of energy swept over him, and his body began to sweat as he blinked three times. "I-I, I don't...", the fear-like energy grew on his body as he stuttered.

Radna: A purple glowing aura grew around his body, everything else around them seemed to grow darker as he stepped closer to Andrews. "Are you really going to make me ask again, Detective?"

Star: He tried to force himself between the two, "Radna I don't think this level of questioning is necessary-" He was flung backward slightly by an unknown force.

Radna: He was face to face with the human, "What did you do." A burst of purple energy came off of his body, wrapping itself around Andrews.

Andrews: The fearful power was strangling him, making it hard to breathe to the point where he couldn't hold it in any longer. "I accidentally let Lucium out okay! He triggered something within me and I fired at him! I had no idea my bullets would break him out of that spell and the chains!"

Radna: His teeth were grinding together as he spoke, "You fucking idiot! Archangel metal was the one thing that could break those damn chains, you brought him exactly what he needed! I thought very low of you, but I didn't think a human could possibly be this stupid!" His purple aura changed to a rageful blood-red color as he roared in the face of the human.

Uriel: "Radna! That is enough!" The angel screamed back at him, trying to break the tension up.

Andrews: He looked back and forth between the others, "You can just lock him up again right!? You beat him so easily the first time you can do it again!-"

Radna: "NO I CANNOT!!!" The entire void shook from his thunderous voice, "The only reason I was able to beat him so easily is because he was still in a demon body, once he gets in his primordial form there is no way of telling what kind of powers he will have!"

He grabbed Andrews by the collar of his jacket, getting up close into his face. "You have not seen what he is capable of, the things he can do! Even what he did when he was first born here was nothing in comparison to what he can do at his full potential!"

Star: He raised an eyebrow, his line of sight focusing on Radna, "Wait what do you mean 'what he did when he was first born'? Like what he did to Greenwood?"

Radna: He looked at Star, his expression softening as he realized what he had accidentally let slip out. "Star that is not...important right now."

Star: He stepped forward, a look of determination covered his face. "If there is something that he did I need to know about it. What is it you are not telling me? What have you been hiding from me?"

Uriel: He looked down at the ground, "Have you not realized why there are no other Angels apart from myself, Star?"

Star: He looked between the two, "No I haven't really thought of it up until now, I just simply thought that they were all busy guarding Heaven right? It is a pretty big role-"

Radna: "No, Star...They are not guarding Heaven. They are not here at all..."

Star: His eyes widened, looking more frantically. "What do you mean? What are you trying to say?"

Radna: "Have you not questioned why Lucifer and the other Sins were able to rise up so easily? Have you noticed how soul energy is running wild as if nothing is there to keep it in check? They are dead Star, the Angels are dead."

Star: "No...The Angels are formidable warriors, they would never allow something to happen like that."

Uriel: "Many many years ago, a mysterious creature randomly appeared in Hell, me and my fellow Archangels suddenly detected a down Spiritual Tower. Those towers are used to regulate and control that segment of judgement, so if you destroy that tower, those who are judged will never be placed into Hell, their spirit will run wild in the mortal world."

Radna: "That mysterious creature...was Lucium. He destroyed what controlled and regulated Hell and then forced his way through the gates of Heaven, murdering every Angel and Archangel alike that was in his way. Uriel was the only one left alive."

Uriel: He turned away from them, feeling the grief of his fallen family on his shoulders, "He told me...' You, an Angel, are afraid of me? Your fear feeds me well, and for that satisfaction, you will be spared. Live your life with that fear, represent my wrath, so that others will know of what I did upon this day, and the time for cleansing is only beginning...' He destroyed the Heaven Tower after that, causing the only home I have ever known to fall into the mortal world."

Radna: "He was able to do all of that without using an ounce of his Primordial Magic, he did it all with his bare hands...If he gets back his power, he will be able to do something of that scale and more."

Star: He had no words, he couldn't help but stare at the ground, feeling everything around him grow dizzy. "Why would you keep something like this from me? Why would you think it not important to tell me that he did such a thing!?"

Radna: He placed his hand on Star's shoulder, attempting to calm him down, "Knowing who you are, the kind soul that you are, you would have tried to fight him when you were not ready yet. Who knows what state he is in right now, he could already have obtained some of his powers. You have to keep training, a threat level such as himself is far too dangerous for you to go at it yourself."

Star: "Well then let us all go out to find him! We can't just sit here and wait for something to happen or for him to get stronger!"

Radna: His grip became tighter, "No, at the state you are at, you could get killed. We are going to need more help, I know he is out there, we have to find him."

Star: He stared at him, curiosity burning off of his body, "Who? Who do we have to find? Who is strong enough to help us against that Black-Eyed Bastard, pardon my language."

Radna: He smirked a bit, "My brother I spoke to you of will be more than powerful enough to help us against Lucium...Yes, his name is coming back to me finally."

Star: "Who is he?"

Radna: "People called him the last monster, I called him the greatest one. My distant brother, the man I know who can beat Lucium, his name is Alex."
