Hyanne and Dominos were ready for their honeymoon. Their first destination was Los Angeles. Hyanne was really excited for this trip as it was her first time going abroad. Everything was set and they received blessings from their family before heading to the airport. It was a long flight, but they were in first class, so they enjoyed talking, teasing, and planning their future together. Dominos was determined to have twins, which made Hyanne blush. The flight crew understood that they were newly married, so they made sure not to disturb them.
Finally, they arrived at Los Angeles Airport. A driver from the five-star hotel came to pick them up. They collected their luggage and headed to the hotel. The city lights, buildings, and greenery of Los Angeles were captivating to Hyanne. They savored every moment together, enjoying the sights. However, the weather was really cold, and despite wearing a jacket and a coat, Hyanne's nose turned red. She found warmth in Dominos 's arms.
Once they reached the hotel, they rested for a while. When they woke up, Dominos phone rang. It was a call from Mrs Donna.
"Who is Donna?" Hyanne asked curiously. "She is one of my clients here. Let me see what she wants," Dominos explained. Hyanne couldn't help but wonder if Donna would spoil their trip.
"Don't worry, anne. She is not going to do anything to spoil our trip," Dominos reassured her. He called Mrs Donna back and found out that it was her birthday tomorrow, and she insisted that both Dominos and Hyanne should come to her party in the late evening.
"What party?" Hyanne asked, puzzled.
Dominos clarified, "Mrs Donna is an old client of mine, and we were on good terms. She invited us both to her birthday party, and we're going. It will be our first party abroad. Get ready!"
"Okay, no problem. I'll be ready," Hyanne replied, eager to experience their first party together in a foreign country.
...
Next day, Dominick called Hyacinth into his cabin. "Yes, sir?" she responded. "Is everything ready? Have you collected the bouquet?" Dominick inquired. "Yes, sir. It's in your car," she assured him. "Okay, now go home and be ready at 9. I will pick you up," he instructed. "Okay," Hyacinth replied obediently.
She didn't talk too much, except when it was about business. It was hurting both of them, but they believed it was necessary for the success of their professional relationship.
At 8 pm, Dominick was at her doorstep. He called her, but she didn't answer. He went to her door and rang the bell. Jubilee opened the door.
"Mr Schneider...?" she asked in surprise.
"Yeah, I was calling Hya, but she was not picking up her phone, so I came here..." Dominick explained.
"Come, come, sit. She is ready, just doing her touch-up," Jubilee invited him inside. "Okay, I will wait. Don't worry," Dominick replied gratefully.
After waiting for a few minutes, there she was, a beauty. Hyacinth was wearing a blue maxi dress with minimal jewelry and makeup. The long gown made her look gorgeous against her milky skin. Dominick couldn't take his eyes off her and forgot to blink. To break the spell, she spoke up, "I'm ready. Let's go."
"Yeah, come," Dominick managed to say. He made sure she comfortably sat in the car, and they roared off towards the night.
...
"Hyanne, come on. We are running late. Look, it's already past 8," Dominos urged her. "Coming, coming, just a minute," she replied hurriedly. "Why do girls take so much time in getting dressed?" Dominos wondered aloud.
"Because we have to look our best," she explained with a smile. After a quick touch-up, she entered the room. She, too, was wearing a blue maxi dress, reaching down to the floor.
"Now we're not getting late," Dominos remarked. "Why do you have to look so gorgeous always?" he admiringly commented.
"Not always. When my kids have their own kids, I might not be the same," she chuckled.
"But you will always be my Hyanne, forever beautiful in my eyes," Dominos replied, his voice filled with sincerity and affection.
They started their journey towards the party aterwards.
...
As they arrived at the venue, Dominos who was Dominick's old college friend, caught his attention. Excitedly, he approached them with Hyanne , his wife, by his side.
" Nick ! I didn't expect to see you here," Dominos exclaimed, shaking hands with his friend. "Yeah, we're on our honeymoon when Donna called. By the way, meet my wife, Hyanne ," he introduced Hyanne with a smile.
Dominick and Hyacinth were shocked to hear the world's biggest joke – their names were the almost same, and their respective partners also had almost the same names. They all laughed at the coincidence and introduced themselves to each other. "Nice to meet you," said Hyacinth. "Me too," replied Dominick
They walked towards Mrs Donna and presented her with a bouquet. The atmosphere was really good.
Hyacinth greeted Donna warmly, trying not to let her slight feeling of jealousy show. She knew that Mrs Donna and Dominick were just friends, nothing more.
Dominick, Dominos and Mrs Donna engaged in conversation while the two girls, Hyacinth and Hyanne, felt left out and frustrated.
Hyanne asked Hyacinth if she was Dominick's wife.
"No, I'm his PA," replied Hyacinth.
"Really, the way he watches you, it's so different, like he loves you. And you are in love too," Hyanne commented.
"It's a bit complicated between us," Hyacinth answered sincerely.
"Yeah, but don't let him go. You will not find a more perfect person than him," Hyanne advised. They continued talking, while Dominick told Mrs Donna about Hyacinth , how he was trying to win her back as an old friend. At first, Mrs Donna scolded him, but then shared her own story of the hurdles she faced to be with her partner. She gave Dominick some motivation, emphasizing that true love never dies. Dominick understood what Naveen was trying to convey and promised to make everything right again.
Through the evening, Mrs Donna played the role of a gracious host, introducing Hyacinth and Dominick to various people from the fashion world.
