Chapter 8 - The plan

Sitting with her back rested on a very comfortable chair in her private room was a lady with lush pink hair that gave a feel of bubble gum. Not just her hair, but her eyes were also pink. Every supernatural had their own trait. Her pink full lips curved into a smirk as she listened to her assignment through a holographic message passed through to her by King Roderick.

"I will get it done as soon as possible." She responded to the hologram of Roderick that stood in the centre of the room. The transmission ended and she looked up at the man who sat on the other end of the room next to the window.

"You see that Rasmus, I told you, if you don't clean your act, I would take your place." She said with a wide grin.

"Take my place? You were just given one task." He scoffed.

"Yeah, a task to clean up your act." She retorted. As she was about to say more, a notification sound rung from her watch and she immediately read it.

"Tell Rasmus to guide you in every step needed. He knows more suited people for this." The message read.

"My oh my, it seems like you will need me for your special assignment, Ms Aella." Rasmus smirked reading a message from his watch as well. He was told to help her with whatever she needed and make sure she made no mistakes. They might trust her as well, but not as much as they trusted Rasmus.

"Well, I'm still in charge." Aella responded and stood from her position. "Come on, let's get down to business."

They both left their base and took a hovercar to the tower of rulers which was located on a small remote island. Underneath the building, was where the children were hidden. As soon as they parked the vehicle onto the island's surface, Rasmus led the way to the children. But first, they had to get some men who had different duties in the building to come with them.

Rasmus opened the door to the room where the children where kept hostage and moved to the rooms the newly delivered ones were kept.

"Hey kids, did you miss me?" The lady asked with a smile. The children only moved closer to each other and away from her. "Bring Fifty of them." She ordered the men they had brought along. Rasmus opened up the door for them.

They hadn't even been there for long and they already had an encounter with the pink haired woman, making them scared of her. She had decided to personally give them food, well, it was a plate of slob, but was something they could put in their mouths. One of the girls refused it, pushing her arm and the plate of food away. The next moment, both her arms were been broken by Aella. The entire room was filled with screams of pain instantly. She had even done worse to others and they all decided to listen to her always.

As she had ordered, out of the sixty seven children there, the men in lab coats moved to fifty children.

"Wh-what are you going to do to me?" Alfred looked up at the man who stood in front of him. "Don't hurt me, please." He said and shut his eyes, looking at away from the man. Malakai whom was next to him, as always grabbed hold of his friend's hand not willing to just watch him get hurt or killed like he had seen happen to his father.

"Please, don't hurt him." Malakai said in a shaky voice. The man then put chains around Alfred's arm and pulled him up to his feet. This was not done to Malakai though as they had randomly picked fifty out of sixty seven. Malakai was part of the remaining seventeen.

"Come with us." The told all fifty of them.

"Please don't harm us." They began to cry once more.

"Don't worry cuties, we won't harm you." Aella said as Rasmus shut the door behind them.

They were taken out of their jail like rooms and into a lab where several men and women in lab coats were present. "Do what's necessary." Rasmus said to the doctors who nodded

"Now kids, remember to behave."

After about fifteen to thirty minutes, the children were returned to their cell.

"Alfred! You're back. Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Malakai asked with concern.

"No, they didn't hurt me. They just took a skin tissue and asked some random questions." Alfred replied confused as to why.

"Huh? What would be the reason?" Malakai as well wondered. "Well, it doesn't matter as long as you're fine."

"You kids will be rewarded for being such good boys and girls." Aella said and Rasmus locked the doors once more.

"Can you reward us by letting us go?" One of the children innocently asked.

"Don't worry, you'll soon be reunited with your families." Rasmus replied. They children were overzealous to hear that they would be returning to their families one thing. If only they knew that was about to be fulfilled, but they wouldn't truly be a part of the reunion.

"First step, is halfway done." She said as both her and Rasmus left the tower of rulers. "Now, I need you for the next one." She said to Rasmus who walked beside her.

He led her out of the building and back into the hover car where they returned to one of the Dillon's sky cities. They walked into a building and got to the top floor where several men where already present, waiting on their arrival. Some of the men there got a beep sound from thejr watches.

"We have new orders fr..." Rasmus started but was cut off by Aella.

"Nuh-uh sugar pie, I'm doing the talking." She said and he sat back.

"You're in charge." He said and she smiled. She then turned her attention to the men standing in front of her, her expression quickly averted from smiley to serious in a split second.

"We have received orders from our leaders and you are going to carry it out." She began. "Due to the carelessness of you all, we have to settle down the hearts of the people and since it's your fault, you have to solve it." She then went on to explain the plan on details, where they were going to have it, when it should happen and how it should happen. "Everything you must do should be clean and look very credible. I want no mistakes or your demise will be slow painful." She said her last words to them.

"Get everything ready, and on our signal, you go go into action." Rasmus added and they all left. Aella began spinning in her chair having fun with the wheels.

"It feels nice to give orders, doesn't it? I love being in charge." She said with a giggle.

"Don't let it get to your head, Aella. It's just this once."

"It happened once, it will happen again."
