Amon was happy today; everything was going right for him. This past week, instead of practicing, he also focused on gathering knowledge.
In the book he had read about the life of the Neo-Demon when he read his adventure, he discovered that he relied on his intelligence to save himself and defeat strong opponents.
Amon learned from that he would also need to rely on his intelligence and knowledge to defeat stronger opponents.
He had also mastered 'Meteor Fist'; he could now use it in any situation, but it was still not at its best as this technique required years to master.
He was meditating in the park, beneath a tree, when he felt something was not right. His eyes opened and shone blue; he sensed an incoming attack from behind.
Amon rolled his body and dodged the attack. When he shifted his vision, three figures appeared before him, all of whom looked similar, with dark, hairless skin, pointy noses and ears, and big, crimson eyes.
'Imps again?' He was already fed up with these bastards; they always approached him looking for trouble.
He stood up and faced them; this time, the one at the front was taller and more muscular, and his wings were also bigger.
Looking at Amon, a smirk appeared on the face of the leading Imp. "You got beaten up by this chicken; shame on you."
"Today, your big brother will teach you how to smash such weaklings." He charged at Amon and punched him.
Amon easily saw through his attack through his eyes and dodged it by sidestepping and catching his arm, but he had to leave him the next moment.
A kick passed by just a few inches away from Amon's face.
The Imp moved his neck sideways, making a cracking sound: "He is not as weak as he looks. It will take some time."
He charged again, but a red aura appeared from his fists. Amon took a small breath and channeled Prana; it surrounded his body and enhanced it.
They exchanged some moves, but Amon easily defended himself; the opponent was strong. He was using a technique to increase his attacks even further.
His eyes suddenly started shining in a crimson glow. Prana erupted out of his eyes like a laser and approached Amon.
Looking at this and calculating the attack's range and impact area, Amon tried to dodge it, but its speed was faster.
'Zhushh'
It went past after hitting Amon's shoulder, making him groan in pain. A powerful 'meteor punch' followed, and Amon used 'Prana Burst,' a technique that made him stronger and faster for a moment by burning a large amount of Prana.
A chill ran through his spine as he halted in his tracks, a little away from his opponent. This could have been fatal.
He continued breathing in rhythm, and his wound healed rapidly.
His opponent was frustrated; he beat his wind and punched Amon, throwing him back into the air.
He then used his Prana technique. Again, a laser from Prana approached and hit Amon, injuring him.
'Arghh.' He groaned in pain.
His opponent raised his hand, showing that he was the winner. He then approached Amon and kicked him, showing no mercy.
Amon coughed up blood; the attack had done way more damage than expected. He rolled on the ground and dodged the upcoming kick.
His regeneration and Prana healing worked together, and he could again stand on his feet.
The battle started again, and Amon kept dodging and landing some punches on the opponent.
Amon's eyes again predicted Oppenenet's moves; he used Prana and enhanced his knee further before landing a hit on Oppenenet's abdomen.
The impact caught his opponenet off guard; he was tossed in the air. Amon took a big breath. Nerves appeared on his forehead as he closed his eyes and concentrated.
His body came into its natural stance. He further enhanced his hands and legs. An azure-blue aura appeared on his right fist, and he compressed it multiple times.
His eyes flashed open, and his right fist moved in the air, carrying a storm with it.
'Boom' A powerful punch accurately landed on the chest of the opponent.
The body of the object moved back, leaving behind a red trail. He was unable to soak up the impact.
Shockwaves from Prana hit him and destroyed his rhythm; this further harmed him as his enhancement disappeared.
Amon took deep breaths as he looked at his opponent; he didn't stop and moved again. He didn't show any mercy to the remaining two and berated them till they fainted.
This school had no laws; from what he heard here, the one who loses is responsible for what comes next.
Due to the resilience of a demon's body, their recovery was rapid. The only thing forbidden was crippling and killing other students.
Amon clenched his teeth and approached his room. He had also gotten used to this place. Here, this was very common; he even saw some students passing by, completely ignoring them.
He first took a cold shower before he sat in a meditative state and used Prana healing. His technique, which he had learned while watching a vision, was very superior to other techniques.
He was now good at using it; he created equilibrium inside his body. Prana inside his body was used when he healed his wound, but the Prana energy present in the atmosphere entered his body and refiled his Prana Source.
After healing his body, he started training his Prana. His body was getting stronger each day, and his prana source had already increased many times since the time he entered the school.
He practiced for two hours before deciding to read some more books. The more books he read, the more interested he became in reading.
Mainly, he focused on books about demon beasts, demon races, and geography, but now he was also reading books about Prana.
In these books, the experiences of Prana users were documented, and he learned from them that to become an expert, one should know how to use different types of Prana.
This was only the first step; the second was to use them together and learn techniques to use them together.
Amon was in the first stage; his full focus was on mastering the Vadh Pana type. He would think about the other two types when he was satisfied with his mastery of Vadh.
