Multiple young demons appeared at the gate and got their tokens; they were moving toward the next trial when they saw a hood figure approaching them.
They had just gotten their tokens, and it was shocking for them to know that someone had even finished their trial.
Amon approached the Demon Soldier and showed him the token; he checked it before opening the other gate for him.
Amon entered it and found himself in a narrow passage. A man appeared before him wearing a strange noble attire.
He looked at him and said, " Show me the pouch you are carrying kid; there are some things you are not allowed to carry."
At first, Amon wanted to deny but the moment he sensed his pressure, he was sure he stood no chance against him.
He brought out his storage pouch and showed it to him; the moment his eyes fell on the storage pouch. His eyes widened in surprise; he raised his brows and looked at it closely.
His eyes then fall on Amon again as if scanning him, 'A Nephilim? Interesting,' He checked it and saw there was nothing inside it other than some Crystals, an Armor, and something to eat.
"You can go boy. However, I suggest you to go there after wearing your Armor. The next trial can only be passed with a team." He said before laughing and turning into black smoke and disappearing.
Amon decided to take his advice and wore his Armor; after that, he started approaching the next door.
The moment he emerged, others before him started looking at him as if accessing him. His Armor made him look like someone strong and from a noble family.
As he looked around, he discovered a Dark Forest before him; the other participants were trying to form groups before attempting the next trial.
He noticed that most of the high-class Demons had already entered the trial; what was left now were middle-class Demons trying to group up.
Amon didn't know what to do. It was then he found a strange creature approaching him. It was clad in a blue robe adorned with a silver border.
Amon's eyes widened in surprise, as he looked at the two feet long creature before him.
It had skin as white as a fresh-fallen snow. Its eyes were what held Amon's attention. One eye gleamed like a sapphire as clear and tranquil as a mountain lake reflecting the sky.
While the other was a golden orb shone with the warmth of the setting sun. These mismatched eyes both had reptilian features.
It had a petite frame. A button-like nose graced the center of his visage, and his ears adorned with tiny, pointy tips.
It had big red colored goggles resting on his forehead; they looked like an artifact. It was carrying a small brown colored leather bag on its back.
With each step closer, its dainty tail wagged playfully. And when he spoke, his voice was a sweet, high-pitched melody, a symphony of innocence and wonder.
"Hello, dear friend! Ssssay, are you looking for a team? Sssqueak!" He said with a curious expression on his face.
Amon looked at this creature and replied, "Yeah, I have not joined any team till now."
"Really?" The eyes of the creature shone; it brought its two small-scaled hands with three claws each.
"Why don't then you join us? Sssqueak!" said the creature as it held Amon's hand.
"Hey, what are you doing?" said Amon as he tried to move back.
"Your Armor is cool," said the figure as it looked at it with a glint in its eyes.
They talked for a while before Amon decided to agree; he didn't know how to say no to this guy who was not ready to leave him alone for a moment.
He brought him to the corner and introduced him to other people, "Look, I have found the last member; he is called Wolf Head. Sssqueak!"
The other three guys turned; they were taller than Amon. Two were red-skinned with white patterns on them; they looked like bigger Goblins.
The last one was a hairless creature with black skin; He was 3.5 feet tall, holding a spear in his hand. His eyes were yellow, and he was wearing an Armor. Two tiny wings were sprouting from its back.
From one look, Amon could tell those two 4.5 feet tall demons were Homo-Goblins, while the last was an Imp. He could see they were different from the one he had met before.
He could sense evil in their eyes; they looked at each other as if talking with their eyes before they smiled and greeted Amon, "Welcome, Freind," said the Imp.
"Kael, where have you gone? We were looking for you for so long." asked one of the Homo-Goblin.
"Hahaha, I was looking for the last member. Look, I have brought back wolf. Sssqueak!" said the small Demon.
"You should have told us, Kael, we were worried about you." said the homo-goblin with a smile. Amon could see him clicking the handle of his mace on the back.
"It's time for us to leave," said the Imp as it looked at others.
"Let's go," said Kael as he went closer to Amon.
The team registered their name before exploring the area. They entered the forest. It was massive, and it was tough to search for their targets.
There were countless no-star Demonic Beast here, but they had to hunt a Two-Star Demonic Beast.
Amon listened to their explanation; no-star Demonic Beasts were the common Demonic Beasts. They were the ones he faced when he first entered the forest, the ones without eyes.
One-Star were the Demonic Beasts Like Centripeded and Spider Demonic Beasts, while the Three-Star were the scary ones.
Only he knew his Hood was made of one of the three-Star Beast.
They faced multiple no-star Demonic Beasts and defeated them; Amon noticed that the others were watching him as if trying to access him. Only Kael stood at the back, clapping for them and cheering them.
He was confused about why they were so kind to Kael when he was not contributing much. He soon got his answer when he saw Kael taking out potions and giving them to them.
Kael then took out a small mechanical flying creature-like doll; he put on his Goggles and sent it to the sky. He then searched the area before taking out a pen and paper and drawing a map.
Amon looked at the map, and his eyes widened in surprise. It was a very detailed map of the area they were in. He could not believe that it was possible to create such a map so fast.
It required to have a lot of practice and knowledge. The information-gathering speed was also something he had unheard of.
