"Your skill is going to be hella useful, Silver. Not as good as mine though," he smiled, "Watch,"
He then looked around until he found a branch of tree and grabbed it. Closing his eyes perhaps trying to focus, he swiftly murmured, "Sharp Light!"
The next moment, whatever he did, I couldn't catch with my eyes. He attacked a random tree apparently and that tore that branch into pieces causing almost zero harm to the tree. Well, that was not the point though.
"Back to you now, cool not?" He told me facing the other way. It did look awesome, I don't lie when I don't absolutely feel the need to.
"Fantastic skill, Erio, but where is Aisy?"
"Ah, she didn't come yet? She said she only needed 5 more Exp, so I left her alone. You can see her right? Look at north,"
I can't open Crystal Eyes at her for quite obvious reasons though, because I can look through anything when I open that skill. Did I really need to explain it to him? I looked back and luckily saw her returning. She waved at us.
"Also Erio, I wanted to ask you something," I stared back at Erio.
"What?"
"How much do you want to complete the quest?"
"Not any more than you actually. Neither do I really want the 'Wish'. If I can save this world and go back safely, that's all I want."
"I see," my views, literally.
Aisy had come back and was tired. "I got a skill, guys,"
"Perfect, all of us did."
"So you can revive things now?"
"Uhh. Not exactly. They become my skeleton units,"
"Classic,"
"Even better, I have to test something. Please get one of your units here,"
"Alright.."
She was tired I know but still stood up and moved a few step backwards and then in a similar manner as Erio, she closed her eyes and lifted her hands forward to utter, "Rise,"
A portal-like void formed at the ground which summoned a slime skeleton. Finally seeing a skeleton unit after reading all those books sure was exciting but, the fun wasn't about to be long lasting.
"Isn't he cut-" I didn't let her finish that sentence.
"Crystal Eyes, Devaste!"
The skeleton exploded and returned to nothing.
"What the..." Erio commented.
Aisy stood there, speechless. And then it hit me, 'Ahhh yes. Now I understand. It was rude to just kill her very first unit.' I genuinely became a statue there not knowing how should I respond to her now.
"Okay, wow. I can kill undead things. Sorry about your slime Aisy-" Oh my, she just pouted. I looked the other way, blushing and faced Erio who smirked at me with the 'He he, I see, Silver~' face. I regained my composure and said, "Fine. Anyways, we should now think what to do at night. I am not sleeping on this muddy soil,"
"Sleep on some trees, there are zero animals on them, somehow." said Aisy. I thought she was going to be angry. But that was a ridiculous idea. Roll over once and death. Then she will have to resurrect me. OH THAT WAS THE PLAN!?
Erio, puzzled, suggested, "Then gather some leaves instead. Trees here have massive leaves. And can't sleep on trees, Aisy,"
"Yeah, let's do that. Also shouldn't somebody stay on guard? New monsters might attack at night too."
"True, you do that,"
Wow I shouldn't have suggested it.
"I am tired..."
"Then vote, should we?" Erio remarked.
"Yes sure."
"Perfect. Votes to Me being on guard."
Only I raised the hand.
"Votes to Aisy being on guard."
Again, only I.
"Votes to Silver being on guard."
Both of them voted against me. Rude, meanie.
Time passed as we gathered some woods and leaves. I even climbed a large tree to see from above and discovered a village within tomorrow's distance. That was a good news. Erio somehow lit up a fire and with the leaves. After that they just bade me luck and went to sleep on two opposite sides of an area I cleared up a while ago.
I can't possibly stay awake the whole night now, they gotta be kidding. I walked so far and did, things! Okay, they worked harder I admit. But I would fall asleep within five minutes if somebody brought me a pillow. Disappointed I, looked up at the sky. The stars are innumerable. Also the night in this planet, is not black. It's dark reddish color. The moon of this planet, which the Face talked about, I saw it today after climbing that tree. It's at the verge of setting down. But it won't until seventy more years pass as He mentioned.
Still, I must not lie. This scenic beauty here is unmatched. I never saw such a night in Earth. I walked around for a while kicking stones, and touching grass until I realized the sun finally settled down. And that I can now see in the dark. Possibly because of how I raised my Sight stat. Camera, was it? An amazing skill. I wonder what is the next thing I get. I might actually invest in Sight again with the next stat points.
Suddenly at that moment I remembered that I forgot to check the actual skill I received after leveling up. Camera was only an extra skill as a reward for leveling up the Sight stats.
Uttering "Check profile" I returned to the void.

Great skill, but a trash to me. I never loved anybody, even if I did, the feeling just faded away one day. Pretty sad I guess, but you see, the one person I loved most would be me myself. Yeah I would die to save myself. That sounded weird. This skill could work as a self-heal. And I just need to love myself more to be able to heal myself more. Man I love this system.
The night was getting even darker and the two fell asleep long ago. I was expecting arrivals of some monsters. Yes, I am sleepy. But tired, uh... Not much actually, I guess at least. The fire that Erio lit up was starting to slowly burn out. Although I could see through the dark then, the view of course would be far more convenient with lights on. Again, monsters could be avoiding us for this fire. So I just waited a little more, sitting near the campfire thinking things, enjoying the views. I actually have a strong skill for this, like real-life skill. That is, to be able to pass hours thinking silly things. Not a commendable skill I guess?
After a long few minutes the fire suddenly burnt out. An eerie feeling shook up my whole body. I am not really afraid of the dark, but it was just creepy. Being in a forest with a dark and reddish sky. As if the whole area was set up for a monster invasion.
That clicked my mind. That's exactly how it is. Yeah, that is exactly what is going to happen. I looked around again, no way this is *NOT* a perfect battlefield! As expected I quickly sensed some presence in front of me. Peering through the dark forest, I found three bull-like animals approaching at me. 'Holy.. I am a genius, aren't I?' I thought.
That wasn't all though, I discovered more monsters on the right side. A horde of those blue slimes were surrounding us. Their numbers would easily exceed a hundred. Facing back I saw a few more of those bull things and lastly, a Giant slime.
"Crystal Eyes," I uttered. I can just Devaste my way through though, right? But I wouldn't like the noise that comes from it waking up the entire forest, potentially. Is there a choice? No. They are still far away but I can see them as clearly as most humans see their clock. I planned on 'Devast'-ing all of them while they are still away so the noise doesn't reach here, well even if it does, it shouldn't be a considerable amount.
I focused on the bulls first, as they seemed to be the stronger foe. I focused on the ground beneath them and did my job, "Devaste."
My fellow teammates are having a beautiful sleep while I am in a war. Although I am just standing in place, and occasionally uttering a single word, I was doing my job, weren't I? The bulls took damage, sure. But that wasn't enough at all. They only fell down and got the footing back. This time they looked even angrier. 'That's bad,' I told myself as they were booting up their legs to start a run here.
"Devaste, Devaste! Devaste!! Devaste!!" I lost track of one of the bulls, it probably got knocked out. The slimes there were probably dead too however the two rest had only increased their speed. I had to take care of them as fast as I could because they are not the only ones, I had to deal with the monsters behind me as well. I assumed to have at best a two minutes in my hand before those from my behind catch up.
I was not waking my teammates up because their skills are all short-ranged and would be a waste of time at this moment. I could only rely on myself, "Devaste, Devaste, DEVASTE!!!" this last one was a big one. Its been days since I shouted out like that, I think that it most likely knocked out the two bulls finally. I turned to the other side and continued with the same one word. Yes, "Devaste!"
Looking back, I found Aisy had woken up.
"Monsters? You should have called us, Silver,"
I didn't reply to her. This time I didn't shout exactly but the explosion was just as big the previous one. I assumed that this skill just leveled up. I continued with it, "Devaste, Devaste!" I don't know, the explosions were only getting larger and I could focus better then. "Devaste!"
Going through this drill for another minute, I guess all of the monsters were eliminated. Only this Giant slime remained whom I considered to the boss here. Aisy didn't say anything, she just watched sitting there.
"How can you see in this dark, Silver?
"You can't? My eyes are healthy. Also do you think you can get a boss in your unit?"
"BOSS? What exactly are you fighting?"
"A funny slime, answer me now,"
"To revive things more powerful than me, I have to kill the monster myself,"
And I thought I could help her get some nice units. Whatever, I got my eyes fixated on the slime, its pace was quite fascinating when you match it with its shape or face. And it was rather purple than blue, I guess.
"Devaste!"
Now I got concerned. The ground that exploded beneath it got simply absorbed. I didn't really know what to do. "Devaste! Devaste!" I gave up, this was getting useless.
What do I do now? Flee? I thought we could flee, actually. It was maybe a little speedy but we should be faster. Like, its a slime afterall.
At that moment, something happened to the slime, I noticed. It slowed down. And the body was getting redder. That's mysterious. I only watched it from here and his condition was getting worse. Some thoughts passed by my mind but I rejected them. Was there another hero!? Or maybe the town people? Who was getting that slime knocked out? I couldn't really understand the attack either. The slime only got redder and redder by the time. It slowed down to a point that it couldn't move anymore.
And within the next minute, something creepy happened. I understood what the red thing really was. The entire slime. Almost, 15 feet I assume? Turned into a big, big crystal.
