Chapter 1 - The Watchful Eye

-----Chapter 1-----

At the pinnacle of a high-rise building, amidst the concrete and steel expanse of the city, stood a man who commanded attention even from afar. Alex Alex was a formidable figure, his presence exuding an air of controlled power. His tall, lean frame was cloaked in a tailored black suit, accentuating his athletic build. Dark, wavy hair framed a chiseled face, and piercing blue eyes concealed a mind that was always calculating.

As one of the world's deadliest assassins, Alex had earned his reputation through ruthless efficiency and an unwavering commitment to his contracts. He was known for getting the job done, regardless of the odds stacked against him.

Today, his attention was fixed on his latest target, a name that resonated through the underground circles of crime and corruption.

**Code Killer: Zino Alfaret**

**Bounty: 100 Million Zennys**

**Level: Middle**

Zino Alfaret, a man with a meticulously crafted façade of respectability, was emerging from a seemingly innocuous building, its exterior blending seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. The meeting he had just left was no ordinary gathering, and Alex had been meticulously tracking his movements for weeks.

Zino Alfaret was, by all appearances, a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Communication. His immaculate attire, a crisp charcoal suit, bespoke of a man who understood the importance of appearances. His salt-and-pepper hair and neatly trimmed beard gave him an air of authority, concealing the shadowy secrets that lurked beneath his polished exterior.

As Zino stepped out of the building's dimly lit entrance, Alex tightened his grip on the high-powered sniper rifle he held. He had witnessed enough secret meetings to recognize the subtle signs—the discreet glances, the hushed conversations, the concealed documents exchanged under cover of darkness.

The city's ambient hum of activity seemed to fade into the background as Zino Alfaret's presence took center stage. His steps were deliberate, his body language betraying nothing of the clandestine dealings that had just transpired. He glanced over his shoulder, his eyes scanning the surroundings, as if aware of the watchful eyes that tracked his every move.

Alex's finger rested gently on the trigger, his trained eye locked onto his target. The wind whispered through the concrete canyons of the city, carrying with it the promise of swift and silent justice.

'Weapon Mastery-Sniper Type'.

Mostly Assassin gain power through their mastery of weapons. Each weapon they wield has a unique, supernatural ability, and the more skilled they are with that weapon, the more potent its abilities become.

Suddenly a faint aura Comes from His Sniper,

In this moment, high above the bustling streets, the world belonged to Alex Alex, the man they called one of the strongest assassins in the world.

With the precision of a predator stalking its prey, Alex Alex steadied himself, his trained eye locked onto Zino Alfaret. The bustling city below seemed to shrink into insignificance as the assassin focused on his target.

This is it, he thought, a silent acknowledgment of the pivotal moment at hand. His finger gently squeezed the trigger, and a soft exhale escaped his lips as the high-powered rifle released its deadly payload.

Time seemed to slow as the bullet surged through the urban abyss, following its inexorable path toward Zino. Inwardly, Alex reflected on the countless contracts he had fulfilled, the lives he had taken in the name of shadowy justice. The weight of each one bore down on him, but he had long since learned to compartmentalize his conscience. Survival in this world meant making choices that were eternally unforgiving.

No turning back, he reminded himself as the bullet closed the distance between them.

Meanwhile, Zino Alfaret continued his leisurely exit from the clandestine meeting. His senses tingled with a subtle unease, a primal instinct alerting him to danger. He had crossed paths with individuals like Alex before, and he knew the world of espionage and assassination was a perilous one.

As the assassin's bullet approached its mark, Alex's gaze remained unflinching, his resolve unwavering. In this moment, he was not just a man, but a force of nature—the harbinger of consequences that transcended morality.

In the depths of his mind, Alex couldn't help but wonder about the life he was about to end. What had driven Zino Alfaret down this dark path, hidden beneath his veneer of respectability? What secrets had he buried, and what crimes had he committed?

Then, abruptly, Alex's inward contemplation gave way to an active, calculated thought—a whisper of anticipation, a pulse of adrenaline. As the bullet found its mark, striking Zino with ruthless precision, Alex knew he had fulfilled his contract.

As the bullet found its mark, Zino Alfaret staggered, clutching his side in shock and agony. Blood seeped through his fingers, staining his crisp white shirt, as he struggled to comprehend the sudden and brutal assault. His eyes darted frantically, seeking the source of the deadly shot.

In a desperate bid to save himself, Zino reached for his phone, an act that did not go unnoticed by the seasoned killer. With a quick and precise motion, Alex eliminated the threat, shattering the device with a single well-placed shot.

Zino's gaze shifted from his ruined phone to the surrounding area, his mind racing to formulate a plan. Panic welled within him as he realized the perilous predicament he was in. He could feel the approaching darkness, the impending finality of his situation.

'Think', he admonished himself, desperate for a way out.

In the shadows, Alex remained undeterred, his finger hovering near the trigger, prepared for any sign of aggression. His years of experience had taught him that desperation could drive even the most cunning individuals to acts of folly.

Summoning the last remnants of his strength, Zino summoned one of his loyal bodyguards, a hulking figure trained in hand-to-hand combat. With a silent nod, he conveyed his instructions: "Handle the threat."

The bodyguard, a towering presence with a shaved head and an unyielding demeanor, advanced stealthily, his muscular form hidden in the darkness. He was the embodiment of brute force and unwavering loyalty to his employer.

However, the very darkness that concealed the bodyguard also shrouded Alex, and the seasoned assassin had no intention of becoming the hunted. As the bodyguard closed in, Alex's training and instincts kicked into high gear.

In a series of fluid, lightning-fast movements, Alex dispatched the bodyguard and his accompanying security detail with lethal precision. Silenced firearms and well-aimed blows rendered them incapacitated before they could even react.

'Shadow Skill- Ebon Strike'. This is the foundational technique of the Fist series. It allows your character to deliver shadow-infused strikes with precision and speed. Ebon Strikes are effective at enhancing the force of their punches and kicks. there are Basic, Intermediate, advance, Master, for every skill Set', and it depends of talent, aptitude, etc.

As the guard, a burly but ordinary man with no supernatural abilities, lunged forward to block the path, a sense of dread washed over him. He had heard whispers of the shadow skills, but nothing could have prepared him for the speed and precision of the Ebon Strike.

With a fluid and almost dance-like movement, Alex shifted their weight onto the balls of their feet, their body seemingly coalescing with the shadows around them. In that instant, they became a living specter, a blur of darkness and intent.

Their hand, gloved in obsidian black, shot forward like a striking serpent. It was an ordinary punch, or so it seemed. But the obsidian glove concealed a deadly secret. As the Alex's fist connected with the guard's chest, there was a sudden and chilling stillness.

A shockwave of shadowy energy erupted from the point of impact, radiating outward like ripples on a moonlit pond. It was as if the very essence of darkness had been compressed into that single point of contact. The guard's eyes widened with sheer terror as he felt the Ebon Strike's raw power coursing through his body.

The strike was merciless but efficient, focused on its intent to incapacitate rather than kill. It shattered ribs and sent waves of excruciating pain coursing through the guard's body. He gasped for breath, his lungs struggling to cope with the sudden trauma.

In mere moments, the guard crumpled to the ground, his strength utterly drained. His face contorted in agony, his body wracked with spasms as he clutched his chest, desperately trying to draw air into his damaged lungs.

The MC stood over their fallen adversary, their hand still shrouded in shadows, a testament to their mastery of the Ebon Strike. The guard's resistance had been shattered in an instant, and he lay at their mercy, utterly defeated.

Zino Alfaret watched in horror as his last hope for salvation crumbled, his loyal protector succumbing to the relentless assassin's assault. Fear and desperation gripped him as he faced the inescapable reality of his impending demise.

With the bodies of his fallen protectors strewn about him, Zino's voice trembled as he called out again, his words a mix of confusion and desperation, "Who are you? What do you want? Please, I'll do anything!"

The request hung in the air, a feeble plea in the heart of darkness. It was a moment of vulnerability, a stark contrast to the calculated cruelty of the world they inhabited. In that fleeting moment, Zino Alfaret's carefully constructed world had unraveled, and he was left to confront the merciless hand of fate.

The assassin known as Alex, contemplated the plea for mercy, his finger poised on the trigger. The choice was his to make—to grant clemency or to deliver the final, inexorable blow.

Zino staggered, a pained and bewildered expression overtaking his face as he clutched his side, blood staining his pristine shirt. His gaze sought the source of the deadly shot, but the assassin remained hidden, a phantom in the urban landscape.

It was a matter of seconds before Zino Alfaret's strength waned, and his vision dimmed. Alex observed the man's struggle with clinical detachment, a final act of a life destined to be a footnote in the annals of shadowy history.

Contracts are contracts, Alex mused inwardly, as the world of shadows claimed yet another soul.

In the heart of the city, amidst the ceaseless ebb and flow of life, the enigmatic assassin known as Alex Alex faded into the anonymity of the urban tapestry. Another mission completed, another chapter in his dark world.
