[Attack Commence on the Wolves]
...
Yulius: "If you're not going to make the first move, then I will."
As she said this, she speeds towards Kyro and punched him right in the face with only 20% of her strength. Technically it was less than 20%, but she rounded as to not be mean. Not that it did anything other than increase the power of her punch x3 times.
But for Kyro, her punch was nothing he ever felt or seen before. Not even Kitsune's punch from earlier compares to the impact of his masters. The second her blow made contact; he was sent flying. Flying would be an understatement as he really went flying.
Previously, Zef's hit only pushed him back a couple hundred meters. Yulius on the other hand, sent him back thousands of square meters which is equivalent to half a football field. And to think that was just pure physical strength. Imagine if she were to enhance it with her awakened ability, Kyro would've been dead long ago.
Luckily for him, she has no intention of killing him off just yet. What kind of master would she be if she didn't keep her word on paying him back ten-fold for the harm he caused her subordinate? A terrible one, but that's the thing about Yulius.
Whenever she gives you her word, it is essentially like a promise. Breaking her word is like breaking an oath she swears upon her entire life. She is a woman of honor after all. A gentlewoman. Which is why she makes sure she knows fully well what she is promising. Because whether it is with handling politics or people in general, they are very tricky.
They're as slippery as a snake, and cunning like a fox. It's easy to get swept up in the flow of a conversation, but that's the troubling thing about that. You can't trust people. It's not that you can't, but it's hard to. When you know the backbone of human greed, anyone can't help but be wary of new faces. As those new faces can very well be tomorrow's enemy.
Like the quote, 'Today's friend is tomorrow's enemy.'
And when meeting someone who's genuinely nice, it's hard to decipher their true intention. Yes, it's true they may have only good intentions, but there's always the possibility that it's fake, an act to get close to you.
And the second you let your guard down, they attack you where it hurts the most. Shattering your entire being into hundreds of pieces stack upon each other, until you're left unable to recognize yourself in the mirror.
Then they leave you. To cling onto your broken self, as you try to gather your broken shards and put them back together, trying to be whole again. But that's not possible. No matter how much you try to fix yourself, the damage has been done.
Even as you rebuild yourself, there will inevitably be missing pieces, leaving you more vulnerable than you last were. As it is easy to poke holes through the openings that those missing shards were supposed to fill. Once again, making room for your hollow self to continue to be poked at, as the pain only seemingly increase more and more as time goes on.
Warren you to put up walls upon walls, to block those holes. To protect your vulnerable self from human's cruel nature. From the lies the world spouted to you at a young ago. About how great it is to exist and be born into the world.
Manipulating your young self into believe that all is right in the world and there's nothing to fear. As everything is nothing but a walk in the park. A nice stroll, with rainbows and butterflies everywhere you see. You wouldn't think twice to believe such things like bloodshed, backstabbing, poverty, etc, is occurring worldwide.
Ignorance sure is a bliss.
No one who has been sheltered and groomed since birth would ever expect such things until they experience it themselves. It's truly a pity. Their innocence rip unfairly from their child-like pure self, in order for them to build up barricades to defend themselves against the very people they once trusted.
How can someone who's been hurt beyond repair find it in themselves to trust again. To trust the very people who were supposed to protect them, care for them, till they were of age to fully understand the cruelty of the world without witnessing it firsthand at a delicate age.
But at last, the damage has been done. And there's no going back to your foolish naive self. There's only one way out of this mess. One that ensure you wouldn't experience such a tragedy again.
Little did you know, in doing so, you became that monster. A lie. Like the very flesh in blood those traitors did to you. You manipulated, killed, tortured, and took from innocent people, to justify your suffering.
But at what cost?
If it were to all be taken from him once again.
'What cost?'
Kyro thought peacefully for some reason. Time seemed to still. Even as he was being thrown across the room, the world seemed livelier. Brighter. Colorful. His body continued to descend from one point to another, but during his trip, he thought back to his past.
Really unusual of him. He wouldn't usually think back to his sad painful past because it reminded him of his weak, vulnerable, pathetic self. It was that bad that he couldn't bring himself to look himself in the eye when face to face with his reflection.
Must be one traumatic experience if it's that bad. Then again, who would settle for their entire family getting slaughter in front of his eyes by his jealous best friend's family. Something he questioned himself over and over again when he was left reminiscing of the 'good' times.
All fake if you asked him. But they were real, good, in his precious gold eyes. And to think all of it was taken away from him because of one's greed for more power. Moreover, everyone he knew of and trusted, were in on it too. For his family's reputation, fam, power, all of it.
He thought bitterly, surprising the heck out of himself. It really was unusual for him to think such depressing thoughts especially when he's in a war that he's so going to lose. Perhaps this is why people say when you're about to die, do not have lingering regrets as your soul will not rest in peace if you have strong attachments in the land of the living.
If that's really the case, then he's really not going to move on to the next world with the number of regrets he has. But maybe he deserves it. He shouldn't be at peace because he has not lived an honorable life. Then again, who hasn't. Many! But not as bad as his.
As many wouldn't use their pain and suffering as an excuse to hurt others and make them feel what he felt. But Kyro couldn't help but be so caught up in his own torment, that he let his anguish and hatred for the world get the better of him.
And he acknowledges that he's making excuses and that it does not justify the harm he has done, but he couldn't help but think so. It's obviously too late to repent. Even if he were given the choice to change himself for the better, that doesn't necessarily erase his past sins.
Perhaps death really is the only solution for him. And letting himself die at the hands of someone that Zefron's views as honorable person may be a good start. Too bad for him, he won't be getting the easy route out. Death is too easy for him. Not when he has done so many bad.
He knows that himself. And amidst of his slow drop, he knows death is nothing more but an escape for his soon to be impending doom. Moreover, he does not want to feel pain, something he despises the most. The irony of the situation when he caused a lot of people to feel pain, both mentally and physically.
He sighs, but if it's like this, shouldn't he go out in the most painful way possible. Thinking this, just as he was nearing the ground floor, he activated his bitcoin to the fullest. Therefore, activating full 9-tail's form.
His face became more prominent as his back grew 9 long fluffy red tails with black lining going along the middle of each, the top of his head popped out 2 triangular furry ears that twitched cutely at certain directions, his nails sharper as he took on the form of a true 9 tailed beast.
He stared ahead, doing a couple of back flips before landing perfectly. His wound from his face healed in mere seconds as he observed his entire surroundings, but mainly paying attention to Yulius who stood there not having a care in the world. Like her attack to him was nothing special, probably the weakest one she could pull off without killing him.
'They're holding back a lot.'
He thought calculatedly. Which makes a lot of sense since she healed Zef's injures that would've taken a couple of weeks to healed in just seconds without expelling or depleting much of her reserves. So, it shouldn't come to a surprise for him that she's holding back much of her power.
He just didn't think it be a lot. Foolish of him to think so, when she's holding back much more than just a lot. If he knew of her full capabilities, then he would've purposely position himself where she can slash his throat fairly easy, rather than have her drop down a gigantic meteor on their very heads.
Not that she had any intentions of doing so, but her twin on the other hand may or may not had had that thought cross her mind a couple of times in just 10 minutes. Just imagine how many times she thought of dropping a meteor for the past 30 minutes is tiring as it is. The more reason as to why she should hurry and finish Kyro up before she actually makes her creative past time thoughts a reality.
Kyro stood up firmly as he observes his surroundings more carefully. Mostly towards his 'daughter' Kira. He couldn't help but feel a bit of regret for leaving her behind in this cruel world alone. But a man has to pay for his sin, no matter if he's a saint, or a father.
Watching her sleeping figure, he can't help but smile, relaxed at how her small body seems to require a whole lot of air to sustain her tiny little body. He thinks, he wouldn't mind one bit, spending the rest of his life watching over her sleeping figure. Sadly, for him, he only has 13 years that seemingly diminishes into mere months in just seconds.
He counts that he only has 3 hours at max if he continued staying in this form without using any big fire attacks. But only 30 minutes if he intends to go all out, going out in a bang, at the cost of expelling all his lifeforce. The former seems impossible so latter it is.
Quickly positioning himself, he got ready for his last ever battle against someone he has no chance of beating. Yet, going out in a bang while also having the most painful yet deserving death ever, doesn't seem like a bad way out.
Yulius clearly understood that, using her cerulean eyes to observe his lifespan expelling at an alarming rate. By now, the other fox members that were in their 9 tail forms cancel their transformation to save energy.
Good for them, but their lifespan now only measures up to 60 years at max. Not that any of them would figure that out till they witness their clan head disintegrate into dust. Like Thanos snap.
In respect of Kyro's courage to end it all, she decided to give him a well-deserved battle. Think of it as a fare-well gift, but edging towards his death as this will be his last.
Yulius got in position, her stance broad as her left-hand formed a cross while her right-hand stood slightly flat, face down, but behind her crossed hand. Her knees slightly lowered as her hood flew back, revealing her precious angel colored hair, while also giving others a better view of her Rikugan.
Everyone couldn't help but hold in their breath. Speechless by her beauty as it was breathtaking. Like an angel descended upon them and they were the chosen ones who were granted permission by a god, to set their unworthy eyes upon her.
"Beautiful!"
"Zefron's master is a woman?!"
"Damn, she's pretty?!"
"Is she a goddess?!"
"Did a goddess descend upon us?!"
"Holy mother-"
The compliments just came in rolling, but neither side paid any mind to them. All focus was only on one another. Though seeing her special eyes gave Kyro even more reason to why he will lose. Not only his senses, but everyone's, are telling them that they're extremely dangerous and to not cross path with her.
Too bad for him, it's unavoidable. Moreover, her eyes make him feel naked, like she's staring into his very soul, judging him.
'Damn, Zefron really hit the jackpot.'
That he did.

(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ FYI~ ♥
Yulius has Gojo genes which enhances her overall human body's growth. Meaning, she quite tall for her age. Though she is 6, almost 7, she and her twin stand at 4 feet, 6 inches. Pretty tall if you ask me for a 6, almost 7-year-old. Moreover, she has an illusion on so even though her actual height is 4'6, she's acting as Yuna who is 5'8 and is in her early 20's. Same goes for Chelsea who plays Celestial.
All in all, Yulius wouldn't have revealed what she looked like if not for the entire place being secure. That's right, they applied a curtain so nobody in this room can get out of there unless either her or her sister grants it.
The only way out is, death which is only reserved for the few fox members on the patriarch's fraction and Kyro, having your memories erase of either of the twin's existence, or lastly, swearing loyalty to her and her sister before joining Eminence.
Not that nobody in the room wouldn't swear loyalty to literal goddesses. However, those said goddesses are very picky, so many won't be chosen. How unfortunate for those perverts who have a literal boner just looking at a minor.
Cough! Cough!
The foxes.
The wolves have more respect and aren't ones to judge someone based on their appearance but their overall character. How lucky of Eminence to recruit such well respected people who think with their brain and not with their d*cks!
Woohoo!
I certainly can't wait for the next chapter.
Their destruction is most certainly very satisfying.
Stay tune to find out!
