[Welcome back, Player Trevor Scott]
[Several missions are waiting for you. Let's play!]
Trevor got the notification as he turned on the navigator watch. He saw several red dots scattered on the city map that appeared before his eyes. He can even see the offered rewards for each case.
But there was a problem. Trevor wasn't very excited about all of that at the moment.
'What are you waiting for, sir? Choose one mission to collect more rewards!' said AI T in his head.
"I know, but..." Trevor closed the locker door in front of him. "I'm tired," he said while yawning.
The man was still not used to the new routine. Almost every day he came to the fitness center to work out. He also had to carry out his missions at other times.
'Are you going to leave them like that? Some people might lose their lives, sir!' AI T warned him again.
"I know. I am going. Let me put on my shoes first."
He checked the watch again after that. When he was about to click the $10,000 reward-worth case, the red dot disappeared from the screen. It seemed the golden time to save the subject had passed.
'There were three high school students that had just been hit by a car. The scene is not too far from here, but it's quite imposibble for you to accomplish it with your current conditions,' AI T explained.
"Sorry for that," Trevor muttered under his breath. He felt guilty hearing that. If only he were stronger. "Let's choose another mission. There are cases with $100 or $1,000 rewards that I can do on my way home--"
[Ding!]
[SOMEONE AROUND HERE NEEDS YOUR HELP.]
The new notification cut out his speech. Trevor turned his attention toward the exit immediately. He spotted a woman who just entered in a staggered condition. She almost fell, but luckily, Trevor caught her body to prevent that from happening.
[$100 HAS BEEN ADDED TO YOUR BALANCE.]
"Are you okay?" he checked her immediately.
"Yeah, thank you."
The woman opened her eyes to meet his.
'Those are really beautiful gray irises.'
He thought about it for a moment, but quickly dismissed it. He helped the woman move to the nearest chair to rest.
"You don't seem too well for the gym today, don't you think?" Trevor asked shortly to make small talk.
"I felt fine before, though. Just a few minutes ago my stomach hurt. That's when I remembered that my period was supposed to come today," she answered.
"That's bad." Trevor handed over a bottle of mineral water he happened to be holding. "Here. Have a drink first. It's still new. I haven't even opened it yet."
"Thank you once again."
[$100 HAS BEEN ADDED TO YOUR BALANCE.]
He shared another chat for a few moments with the woman. Trevor even asked how she got home in her not-so-well condition. She said she was soon picked up by her friend.
"Actually I've seen you quite a lot lately. Are you a new member here?" the woman asked him another topic.
"Yeah. I have only been in for about ten days." He held out his hand to her. "I am Trevor by the way. Trevor Scott."
The woman smiled while extending her hand too. "Hi, Trevor. I am Melanie Victor. You can call me Melanie."

"You are so sweet. Thank you," said the woman in the apron as she waved at Trevor.
Trevor waved back at her as he got on with his tracks after successfully collecting another $100.
'I think I should buy a car soon. I can't take taxi forever,' Trevor discussed a new topic with the artificial intelligence in his head.
'I agree, sir. It will make us easier to move too to collect more rewards.'
'Just how much balance do I have right now?
Trevor checked the watch on his wrist again. He nodded not long after.
'Not bad. But I have to work harder until it's enough,' said Trevor after that.
A notification rang again. Trevor moved without wasting time to collect another $100. He once again received thanks and praise from the subjects he helped.
'Besides, I want to manage other things in my life. As I said, I am curious about Anne's wherebouts. I think it will be easier for me to find her when I have a car,' Trevor said again.
'I agree with that, sir. But I remind you again to always put your priorities above anything."
'I know. I even doubt she is still single now. But I want to confirm her current situation first, apologize, and maybe... ask for another chance if it's still possible. I miss her.'
Another notification interrupted the discussion. The hero has to reach out to those in need again.

When Trevor reached his apartment building, a taxi stopped there as well. He saw Amanda coming out with a pet carrier in her hand. He instantly smiled when he realized a tiny creature was inside.
"Hey, Bubbly! How are you? Long time no see!" Trevor cooed as he approached the woman. He even stroked the pet carrier while looking at the animal that seemed to still recognize him. "You've been all right, haven't you?"
It barked as if it understood what he said.
"How adorable..."
That's when his eyes met his neighbor's green irises.
"How do you know his name?" asked the woman suspiciously at him.
It was only then that Trevor realized his misstep. He looked so nervous to answer it.
'Sir, how come you say it to her? Do you want to game over early?' AI T chimed in on him. If only it could be seen, the robot might be face-palming in embarrassment.
'M-My bad.'
Because, of course, Trevor shouldn't know about Bubbly or its master. Because he was supposed to be wasn't there when it happened -- based on this girl's appraisal. He was so stupid.
"Um...." Trevor racked his brain to escape from the crisis. "Because... because I had heard you call him several times on the balcony of your room. I also saw you take him out this morning. I heard you call his name. So... that's why."
The woman still seemed to doubt it. "Did I?"
"Y-Yeah, you did."
Amanda still looked suspicious, looking at Trevor who flashed a fake smile to her.
"How can you hear that? The walls are quite thick because I can't hear anything to the other side." Amanda glared wider as she exclaimed, "Don't tell me you were peeking at me? Did you punch a hole in the wall or something?"
"There's no way I would do that!" Trevor had never denied things quicker before. "Like I said, I heard it when you were playing with it on the balcony and when you left your room earlier. You can check the walls if you don't believe me because you definitely won't find anything."
The girl still doubted him.
"Just watch out. Once you do something crazy again, I am really going to kick your ass. Got that?"
The woman left after giving another warning to her neighbor. Trevor watched his back until she was out of sight.
'What's wrong with that girl? Why is she still like that to me? I have cleaned my room, though,' Trevor grumbled in disapproval.
'The first impression you gave to her was already bad, sir. I think that's why she is still annoyed whenever she sees you,' said AI T.
Trevor chuckled while shaking his head, 'What a strange young woman.'
