"So, you want a recommendation of a place to train your self-defense?" Ted, his instructor at the fitness center reconfirmed what he heard from Trevor. Today Trevor has another gym program with him.
"Yeah. Maybe you have some good places for me to try? You also know the most about my stamina, so you probably know the type of self-defense that suits me best," Trevor said it breathlessly while training his leg muscles using the Hack Squat machine.
"Well, I've been quite active doing Krav Maga for the past two years. I also have several friends who are studying Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, to Kenpo. You can choose which one interests you the most," Ted said while checking the stopwatch in his hand. "Okay, stop now!"
Trevor stopped the training. He stepped down from the machine to drink his mineral water.
"I will try to come with you first. Then I will decide whether to continue or not," he replied after wetting his throat.
"All right. Let's do that." Ted nodded his head. "For now you work on your leg muscles with this for about thirty minutes. I will get back to you later."
"Fine, mate."
Ted left there to meet the other members he instructed. Meanwhile, Trevor got back on the machine and trained his legs again.
At that time, a woman with a yellow sports bra approached him. She was the woman Trevor helped the other day. She then occupied the Hack Squat machine that was beside him.
"Hey, Trev. You coming today?" She greeted him friendly.
Trevor paused to smile at her. "Hey, Melanie. You here too?"
"Yeah." Melanie set the weight she wanted to train at. "It looks like your training is getting results, Trev. You look better than ever," said the woman in between.
"Is it true?" Trevor chuckled. "Thank You. You also look good yourself."
"Anytime."
The woman gave Trevor a seductive smile that he returned. He didn't want to sound too confident, but this woman seemed to flirt with him. He wasn't sure if she liked him or just wanted to play around.
Trevor didn't mind at all. Sometimes, he needed things like this amid his tiring daily routine.

"Trev, can you help me?"
Melanie blocked him again as soon as he left the locker room. The man had intended to complete a mission that was conveyed through a notification on his navigator watch, though. But it looked like he had to put it off for the time being.
"Oh, sure, Mel." Trevor smiled at her. "What can I do for you?"
"I heard you know much about computers since you used to work in an IT company. I can't turn on my laptop since last night, so... maybe you can check it for me?" asked the woman with a slightly pitiful expression.
"To be honest I haven't touched any computer in a long time, but sure, I will give it a try," he said while nodding his head.
"Perfect. Then come with me to my car, Trev. I left it there."
"Yeah."
Trevor followed the girl to the parking lot. The two looked so close that they were always joking around with each other.
"This." Melanie took out a silver laptop from the passenger seat. "I don't know why, but it turned off suddenly when I was making a presentation yesterday. When I tried to restart it, a warning popped up on the screen, saying that an error had occurred. I've tried various ways from the internet to fix it but it didn't work. The problem is I really need it for next Monday."
"Okay...." Trevor started checking it out. "You're sure you have charged the battery, right?"
"Yeah. When it died I just charged it, so there should still be about 80% left. But to be sure I also charged it again. It still won't start, though."
Trevor nodded his head and started to examine it. He thumbed the power button to turn it on.
It lit up, but as Melanie said, there was an error message appeared on it. Trevor immediately raised an eyebrow because he felt he was familiar with the case.
"Looks like the automatic update wasn't working properly so it messed up the whole system. We need to fix it before turning it back on," Trevor said after a few moments.
"Can you handle it?" Melanie asked unsure and slightly amazed.
"I think so." Trevor smiled at her. "But let me check first whether my method will work or not."
Because he has long been no longer working with the computer. Three years had passed.
However, who would have thought that he could do it?
The situation actually surprised him too. Trevor thought that his ability had decreased, but strangely, he was able to find the problem and resolution. He also felt he knew what he had to do to repair it.
'This is one of the perks of being a player in BE KIND TO GET RICH system, sir.' AI T interrupted his thought. 'You are not only given the amenity to learn new things to accomplish the mission, but we also make sure to maintain the skills you have. We polished it to make you more skilled than before.'
'Is it true?' Trevor looked utterly amazed. 'That was something I never expected. It was incredible.'

'Wow, $1,000 rewards?' Trevor was quite amazed when he heard the notification in his head. 'Does this computer have to do with her life? Why would helping fix it get me such a big reward?'
AI T seems to feel the same way about him too. 'I am curious too, sir.'
"Jeez, it's on!" Melanie looked so happy when she saw her laptop. He had even checked it outright. "I can't believe this. I thought I would really lose my job."
Trevor just smiled a little. He felt very proud inside.
"Oh, Trevor, you saved my life." After checking for a few moments, the girl turned back to him. She then hugged him. "Thank you, Trev."
Trevor smiled as he rubbed his back. "I am happy for you. But is it really that bad? Are you going to get in trouble if your laptop doesn't turn on?"
"You have no idea how terrible my boss is. He might really kill me." Melanie smiled again after that. "This is really important to me, Trevor. I don't know what will happen to me if I lose all the data I've been working on"
Trevor nodded. "Good for you then," he said after that.
"How should I thank you, Trev? I truly owe you one."
"I told you there was no need to do that. It's nothing," Trevor said.
"No. I really thank you." Melanie kept saying excitedly. She seemed to think for a moment, before speaking to him again, "How about I treat you to a dinner? How about that? Can you make time for me?"
Dinner seems good. Especially with a woman as beautiful as Melanie Victor. Why not?
"Okay." Trevor nodded his head.
"That's great then. Then I will let you know the time and place later." Melanie paused before asking again, "But I don't have your cell phone number yet."
"Then let's exchange that," Trevor said as he took out his cell phone and handed it to her.
"Okay...." Melanie smiled at him as she copied her phone number there.
Again, he may seem big-headed. However, Melanie looked so happy when she got his number. She even said to always be connected in the future.
'But didn't you say that you still like your ex-fiancé, sir? You even have a plan to look for her again. But why do you flirt with another woman like this?' AI T suddenly interrupted in the middle of his discussion with Melanie.
'Um... didn't you hear she was the one who asked for my cell phone number and asked me to have dinner together? After all, I only intended to be friends with her,' said Trevor defending himself.
'Your smile looks too wide for so-called a friend, sir. Besides, I can read your mind! I know you're even starting to have some weird fantasies about her right now. You even thought about sleeping with her after that dinner, right?' AI T kept pestering him like a child.
'Well, so what?' Trevor finally had to admit it. 'As long as we both want it, then isn't it fine? After all, regarding my relationship with Anne, it is not certain that we can be together again. She may already have someone with her now. So isn't it normal that I think the worst of it?'
AI T chuckled and said, 'Boys will always be boys.'
