The police department of Twilight City is situated in the central part of the walled city. Its headquarters is a tall 15-story building that towers with a dominant black hue. The department's emblem is displayed on all four sides, much like the Hunter's guild headquarters.
In contrast to the Hunters tasked with hunting Supernaturals outside the city walls, the police within are responsible for maintaining order within the city, which includes overseeing the actions of Hunters. Their role includes preventing Hunters from using their powers and abilities to oppress ordinary civilians. The laws governing Hunters are slightly stricter than those for civilians due to their ability to wield weapons and magic.
Today, a detective in the Criminal Investigations Division is kept busy with several reports of missing persons occurring continuously. Such cases have become abnormal because they are happening with alarming frequency in close succession.
