As the match ended and he was declared winner, Tony made his way towards the door he entered the arena from.
The crowd was now back in their clothes and took their seats. The sun was already starting to set and it casted a shadow over the entire Kingdom because of the Mist covering the world.
The lights of the arena were turned on. In the room where the royal family was watching the match.
Keiran, Luna and Aiden were simply engrossed in their own thoughts, while Seraphina and Erla were looking at the arena with eyes so cold that it would make anyone who looked into those eyes freeze.
Arion, unfazed by everything, sipped his red wine as the commentators declared the winner.
"Is It over?" Keiran asked with an emotionless voice that matched his gaze casting on the adults.
Seeing those eyes Seraphina took a hold of herself while Arion spoke up.
"It's over for the day, why?" Keiran simply stood up as Luna followed behind him.
" I will be going back home with her and this is the last time we are attending such events." His words were even colder than before. Arion looked into the boy's moonlike eyes, unable to discern anything but coldness from them.
" You are the prince of the kingdom, so you have to fulfill the duties that come along with it." Keiran, who was turning to leave, stopped and looked back at him," Do you think I care?"
As the tension suspended in the room with his reply Seraphina sighed as she stood up, "I'll be taking the Kids home. I think It's enough for them already. "
Seraphina stood in between father and son as she spoke. Her actions caused Arion's eyes to narrow but soon they returned back to normal as he nodded.
As the kids along with Seraphina walked out of the room Arion crushed the glass of wine in his hands, his cold gaze penetrated through the glass window landing on the stage of the Arena.
Beside him Erla who had been quiet since she came here has been contemplating the cold eyes that her kids had shown her just before leaving the room.
'They need a stimulus to help in their awakening. If they don't awaken by tomorrow night, I'll have to think of something else.' While the twins were in the car that drove them back to their castle, they kept holding each other's hands tightly throughout the entire journey.
Seraphina was caressing Aiden's hair who was now asleep with his head on her lap. Soon they arrived at the gates of the castle, the guards arrived to open the door and the four of them got out.
No one spoke a single word as they walked towards the hallway, as they reached the point where they had to separate their ways, Seraphina finally mustered up her courage to ask, " are you alright?"
The twins halted their movements as they casted a warm gaze at her, she was surprised was an understatement, it shocked her to the core that the twins could look at anyone with such gaze except each other.
"We are fine, we were just disgusted with such an environment but Seraphina what about you?" Looking at the sleeping boy in Seraphina's arms Luna continued " you were not fine back there, it was not just disgust for you. You wanted to kill that man didn't you."
Her words made the woman lower her head as she bit her lips. " It's fine Seraphina, tell us when you are ready. We will always be ready to listen." This time Keiran spoke,he saw Seraphina clench her fist at his words and nodded with resolute expression.
After showing a little smile, the twins walked Away towards their room. After standing there for a while Seraphina also walked back towards her room with her son in her arms.
After entering the room the twins started to change their clothes, after they were in just their undergarments they entered the bed without saying anything and hugged each other to sleep.
As the sun set down and the moon rose, in one of the chambers of the castle, two figures were seen sleeping on the same bed.
One was an adult woman while the other was a ten year old boy who was clinging on his bed sheets.
His eyebrows were furrowed as he kept on shifting in his space. His restless movements woke the lady by his side as she looked at him with a worried gaze
" Aiden." While she was calling his name out loud, the boy was watching the scene of the man being killed and the woman being raped and the people laughed and enjoyed those actions even following that man's lead, he watched the same scene over and over again.
He was drenched in so much sweat that the bed sheet beneath him was also starting to get wet.
Unknown to him, the space fabric around his body started to twist and turn while his short red hair grew to the length of his shoulders and their ends turned black.
All of a sudden the boy woke up and sat up straight, Seraphina hugged him tightly. Seeing the worried look of his mother, Aiden's panic stricken face faded as warmth replaced it.
He hugged the woman back.
After a moment the woman spoke in a cheery voice "Happy Birthday my dear, congratulations on your awakening as well." Hearing those words realization struck the boy.
While he was in shock, Seraphina caressed the boy's cheek with love filled eyes.
Aiden sighed and closed his eyes, enjoying the care of his mother. " Let's sleep for now, we will talk about this again in the morning."
Aiden nodded in understanding and laid down on the bed. He closed his eyes and sleep took over him in a few moments.
Seeing her son sound asleep, Seraphina's thoughts wandered as she kept thinking of the current state of the twins. The time kept on going as she started to fall asleep too.
The morning came as the sun rose back up. Today was the day of celebration, the castle was decorated to look even more grand.
The people of the kingdom were celebrating double happiness, one was the Birthday of the prince and princess of the royal family while the other was due to the fact that their youngest prince had awakened his powers.
