As the banquet started everyone was in anticipation of two things, one was the announcement the king was going to issue, while the other was about the two oldest children of the king. Just like the previous gathering they were absent from this one too.
Many noble heads asked about their whereabouts from Arion to which he replied.
" Don't worry that they will be here soon, I am sure they have a reason for being late because they are always punctual at every event they have attended."
Hearing this reply the guests settled down for a few moments. Arion excused himself and walked towards Erla and Seraphina talking with Duke smith. Aiden was beside them as well listening to their conversations quietly.
Seeing the king walking towards them, the attention of the group shifted towards him.
"Duke smith, I hope you won't mind if i take them away, i have something important to talk about."
HIs words may sound polite but there was not a single shred of politeness on his face, just pure indifference.
"Definitely, I will give you some space." The head of the smith family excused himself. After his figure was far away Arion turned to look at Erla and spoke with a cold tone.
"Where are the kids? They should have been here by now." Erla, unfazed by his demeanor, kept looking back at him calmly.
"Who knows maybe, not like they tell me anything. They talk with Seraphina more than me, It's like she is their mother, not me." Erla spoke in a neutral tone but the hidden mocking tone behind her words was evident to even Aiden.
Before Arion could speak any further his attention was drawn by a sudden light coming from the huge windows in the hall.
The light attracted everyone's attention as they moved closer to look at the source of the light, they saw that it was coming from the sky.
This scene shocked everyone because due to the thickness of the mist covering the planet, light could not easily pass through it.
The only rays that passed through it were of the sun's enough to light up the world and not let it submerged in the darkness. The moon was only visible as a hazy figure in the night.
Telescopes and such equipment were rendered useless. So, this is the first time people saw a proper figure of the moon and the light falling on the castle was a huge thing for everyone.
" What is going on…?" People started creating a commotion as they saw moonlight coming their direction.
The light descended on the southern area of the castle in the opposite direction of their current location.
Some sighed in relief while the others saw that the light did not damage anything, which confused them until one of the guests present there spoke.
" Could it be a blessing? I heard Gods used to live on this planet but they left soon. They would bless people from time to time. Maybe something like that happened."
His words confused the people who were unaware of such existence. As the world suffered an apocalypse many things from the past disappeared along with time.
'Gods, huh…? There is nothing like them. If there was, that would not have happened.' As Arion heard those words, he scoffed at the notion of them. Remembering the memories of the dead body of the once cheerful girl made Arion clench his fist as his eyes turned cold.
Deciding to calm down the crowd Arion turned to look at the people present here, before he could say anything he saw the moonlight disappear back in the dark night. Before he could process what had happened he sensed someone's Ether erupting in that area.
His expression turned serious as he turned to look at his wives beside him.
"Someone is attacking the area where the light just fell. Let's go."
Seraphina had also sensed the amount of ether that had just erupted. From the corner of her eyes she saw Erla's mask had faltered for a second but before she could see the change her expressions went back to normal.
" Let us accompany you, your majesty." The heads of the noble family suggested coming along. Seeing that there was no time to discuss, Arion nodded his head in agreement and decided to let six of them accompany him along with his wives and Aiden.
"Thorne, settle down the guests here, we will check the commotion." The king gave his command to the trusted advisor which he accepted with a slight bow.
"Use the shadow guards if someone causes any trouble," Arion words shocked the queen and the six heads.
The shadow guards were the elite and trusted guards of the kingdom. They were rarely moved as their sole purpose was to guard the royal family.
"Understood, Your majesty."
Seeing the advisor accept his command Arion left the hall along with the rest.
In the corner of the hall, a man with curly wild hair was looking at everything with a sharp gaze, confusion was hidden deep behind those eyes.
'What is happening right now. This event might have already caught that man's attention. I still don't Know whether the twins have awakened or not.' Mr.Bove thought while sipping from the glass of champagne.
He wanted to follow behind the rest while staying hidden but when he heard Arion mention the shadow guards, he decided to drop the idea. He did not want to take any chances to expose himself.

As they appeared in front of the ballroom, they sensed Two ether signatures in there engaging in a battle.
Without any delays Arion opened the door and while the rest followed behind. What they saw shocked them to the core.
Keiran was standing on top of a wounded figure, his fist died in blood was approaching the man's face.
Arion was the first who came out of his shock and saw Luna looking at the scene with no evident expression but there was a light blush on her face that was fading away.
Deciding to prevent Keiran from going any further he released his power and enveloped boy's whole body with it.
"What do you think you are doing to your teacher, Keiran?"
