God remained vigilant as He sensed the approach of Gabriel and Beelzebub. When the two beings finally stood before Him, they both humbled themselves in prostration. After a brief moment, God permitted them to rise. Gabriel respectfully stepped back, leaving Beelzebub to stand directly in front of God, awaiting the impending conversation.
"Beelzebub," the Lord spoke.
Beelzebub looked up at God, who was observing him intently.
"Why have you requested an audience with Me, Beelzebub?"
Reluctantly, Beelzebub understood that he needed to state his purpose, despite his inner reservations. He was fully aware that he required God's assistance at this critical juncture in his existence.
"I have not come here to stir chaos, O Lord of hosts. Today, I humbly request to resign from my position as the prince of hell and as a demon," Beelzebub confessed, his voice filled with sincerity.
God maintained His silence, urging Beelzebub to continue.
