Murong Mountain suddenly shouted, as if he had thought of something crucial, his face full of panic.
However, his shout was a bit late, for the Green Steel Sword in the hands of Pig Flying Low had already made a small cut on Ye Rong's body.

After running some distance, Ye Rong leaned against a towering ancient tree to catch his breath.
He glanced at the equipment dropped by the fat little guy, an ancient-looking dragon-patterned ring. Unfortunately, it was utterly devoid of any attributes. It was purely for decoration and not actually an accessory. This thing would be considered trash in Newbie Village's system store.
"He got off easy!"
Ye Rong threw the ring away, not wanting it to take up space in his Qiankun Bag, as it had no use.
"But, losing a few dozen Life Value points should be enough for that kid to feel the pain, and I have to kill each of the remaining three once!"
After death, the calculation of Life Value loss is the current level multiplied by 10. Each player's initial Life Value is between 800 and 1200, determined at random upon character creation. Only after dying once will one know how many Life Value points are remaining. Pig Flying Low's death cost him at least 60 or 70 Life Value points, which is about one-tenth of his total Life Value.
If Life Value is completely consumed, a player will lose a level upon death, which is unbearable for high-level players.
In some sense, Life Value is like a death token that can't be wasted or unappreciated during the early stages of the game.

"Boss, what are we going to do now?"
"What the hell do you mean? Let's run away first!" Murong Mountain yelled, his face pale. "Damn it, if we don't go now, we will be surrounded by Rotten Tree Spirits!"
More than a dozen Rotten Tree Spirits crawled slowly. If they were any slower, they would have formed a circle around Murong Mountain and his teammates.
Ye Rong checked his Aquarius spell; there were still three water talismans left. But in a few minutes, another water talisman would be ready. If used correctly, along with his regular attacks, he had a good chance of instantly killing another player.
"I should be able to kill Murong Mountain. He should have some good equipment on him. Hopefully, the pointed hammer he's using can be dropped too. With no weapon, let's see how he levels up next!"

Ye Rong wasn't a kind-hearted person. In the game Shushan Swordsman, he used to single-handedly challenge a whole guild that provoked him, killing more than 300 players in one breath. It was this incident that made him famous, entering the ranks of the top players in the game.
Murong Mountain and his team wanted to kill Ye Rong and take his equipment, but he was willing to waste some leveling time to make them pay a heavy price.
Shen Fan squinted his eyes, patiently waiting. He believed it wouldn't be long before those players would show up.
They must pass through this path to leave Newbie Village or go to other leveling spots unless they were crazy enough to provoke Mountain Ghosts.
The Level 10 Mountain Ghosts, along with Black Wind Leopards, were the highest level ordinary monsters in Newbie Village. They were not even opponents Ye Rong wanted to provoke. Their attack power was higher than Rotten Tree Spirits, and their movement speed was slightly slower than Black Wind Leopards, but still many times faster than the Rotten Tree Spirits. The only noticeable weakness was a slightly lower Life Value.
Ye Rong could defeat them, but facing fast-moving monsters like Mountain Ghosts, he couldn't use the kite-flying trick, resulting in a significant consumption of Blood-Supplementing pills.
