Anna felt nauseous, her head spinning uncomfortably. She turned and tried to make her way back to the club. Maybe she would be able to convince Kate that they should draw the curtain for the night because the side effects of all the alcohol were finally catching up with her.
She was a little unsteady on her feet, and it took more effort to hold herself up and even walk straight. Her vision was blurred a bit, and the night wasn't helping.
"You are going to be sick," her subconsciousness lamented.
She felt a hand grip her by her arm, and for a moment, she thought it was Raymond.
How did he get here so quick?
How did he even know where I am?
"Anna," his voice floated into her ears, and she frowned.
"Allen!" she called in surprise. "What are you doing here, and how did you find me?"
