Chapter 25 - Chapter 25

  Valentino's POV

As the stillness became longer, Monica let out a "whoops," pulling her innocent puppy eyes.

I was perplexed. I briefly believed it to be Caylee. Because of the ridiculous lack of self-control, everything would have been so crazy and messed up.

What the heck, Monica! Has the term "knocking" ever crossed your mind? I screamed.

Right. Turning back to pull on her top, Myrah continued, "You almost gave me a heart attack."

God, oh God. It's shocking how unreal this is. She groaned and folded her arms. "You are behaving like you were caught doing something wrong, yet the two of you are married.

"Despite that Monica," there is such a thing as privacy. Would you mind if I watched you two having a sexual encounter?

Even worse, you two weren't having sex. It was very adorable and spicy, and you were just letting your wife know how much you missed her while doing it.

I gave up and put my hands up, saying, "You are just impossible, Monica."

This is definitely juicy. Everyone must hear! she exclaimed, clapping her hands together in excitement.

Monica, please don't. Myrah genuinely pleaded with her hands clasped, Please, please, please don't tell anyone.

"Hmm, why is that the case?" Monica questioned while leaning against the door frame and arched her brow.

I don't feel at ease discussing these topics in public.

"Awww."Then, how did you get to be with this despicable psycho? She laughed as she shot me funny daggers.

"Can we go downstairs at this time, Miss Detective, if you are done questioning us?" I shortened the lengthy account.

"Ah, okay. In any case, I had come here to call you two. Let's go. Let's leave.

"I'll change into another outfit." I'll be there shortly, Myrah murmured softly while gently massaging the neck I had just been chewing on. Her top had been released after I had marked her.

Yes, sweetheart, and don't be alarmed. Before taking me out and locking the door, Monica assured her that her secret was safe with her.

I had assumed the drama was over, but Monica shrieked with delight and tightly hugged me instead.

I cried out, "I can't breathe," and she released her hold on me.

Val, I'm very thrilled for you. I'm glad you're not some wealthy man-whore. She remarked with her dreamy eyes on, "I'm glad you did the right thing and married a beautiful woman whom you take such good care of."

I had neglected to inform Monica about this arrangement because of this. She was one of the first people to come and congratulate me when everything transpired so quickly. It was difficult for her to be honest because she was so thrilled and excited. I wasn't even given a chance to speak by her. I didn't want to hurt her pure heart by doing so.

Regarding Nick, he wasn't present. I lacked even the time to make a call. When he returned, Monica had already started to spread the word. Though it was more difficult than we anticipated, we chose to keep them in the dark. They must not have been aware of this agreement for some reason. Fate alone knew.

"Thank you," Monica. How did your case turn out, though? As we moved down the hallway, I questioned.

"Everything went flawlessly. This time, it was challenging yet interesting and entertaining. The offenders are going to face heavy punishment," she vowed.

I hugged her from the side and told her, "I'm proud of you, crazy head."

"You ought to be, seeing as how I'm constantly happy with you always."

At the circular table in the garden, we were having lunch. The setup was good, and the food looked delectable. They always served a varied and good menu.

A few minutes later, Myrah joined us, and it was weird that I was seated next to Myrah and Caylee, my wife and my girlfriend.

On the opposite side, Nick was placed next to Myrah, followed by Kyle, Alisa, Alton, and Monica, who was placed next to Caylee.

Caylee was still depressed, and whenever I looked at her, she gave me a sorrowful expression. She had tears in her eyes. Despite the fact that she had erred, she wasn't doing well, and I felt bad for her.

After helping ourselves to the meal, we began conversing while we ate. Myrah flashed me a bashful smile when I turned to face her and saw that she had been gazing at me.

Was she still reflecting on our recent activity? I wonder what I've gotten myself into now. I had a lot of clarifications to make.

I was lost in thought when I noticed Caylee pointed a fork at me, bearing a cut meatball. Myrah, coincidentally, did the same thing. I was now trapped between two women who were both trying to feed me. What in the world was going on?

Although breaking Myrah's heart felt awful, Caylee's breaking hers felt even worse. In the end, it was she with whom I was truly in love. Alisa gave me the expression that shouted, I have nothing to worry about.

Nick was listening even though Monica and Alton were engaged in conversation. The way Kyle was looking didn't help.

Myrah caught my attention as her eyes lit up and her lips were enticed into a smile. One of the most radiant and sincere smiles she had ever given me was hers.

Myrah, I apologize, but I must complete this for myself.

When I gently turned to face Caylee, I saw Myrah's smile vanish. Despite my confusion and indecision, one thing was certain: I made the reality choice since Caylee was my girlfriend and Myrah was my contract wife.

Caylee's eyes softened, and unshed tears started to show when I turned to face her. She fed me the way I've always liked while I was holding her hand. My girlfriend and she both smiled at me, but something inside of me was breaking.

I'll never forget how Myrah held onto my hair, how she smelled, or how wonderful it was to kiss her neck. Simply put, everything was messed up. I did not want to subject her to this. I didn't want to subject myself to this.

Nick stated, "I love meatballs too," and I watched him hold Myrah's hand before she began to feed him.

"Ummm...yummy. Tastes even better from your hand," grumbled Nick, causing a blush to appear on Myrah's cheeks. She freaking blushed deeply and grinned at him.

Myrah said, "It's like you love every meal that exists on this earth.

Yes, he does most of the time, but when he does the Doctor Nick Calleiro mask, Kyle says, "trust me, you won't like all the crazy healthy food stuff."

So recognizable. He has been giving me nothing but salads. Myrah remarked, "I'm sure I now know half the salads on this planet." and Nick responded with a playful you're lying punch that made her smile.

Kyle laughed, "So I guess you must have tried the Nico salad by now."

Yes, I did. Myrah mimicked Nick's usual pronunciation of "must be the taste," making Kyle and Nick laugh. Even she cracked up at her own jokes.

I'm positive I don't sound like that. Do I need to try yours?

No, no, no. Spare yourself the embarrassment. Myrah complained while still giggling, I warned you, you're bad at these things.

When she spoke with Nick and Kyle, everything seemed so natural. She had neither shyness nor anxiety. She spoke animatedly and effortlessly made jokes. She didn't have to exert herself.

A little squeeze occurred on my thigh. Caylee was there. She smiled at me as I turned to face her.

"Let's leave right away." She said softly, "I need you." I gave a quick nod. I definitely needed a vacation from this unhealthy setting.

Pardon me. As she stood up, Caylee excused herself, saying, "I have to use the restroom."

Yes, Caylee. You don't appear to be doing well today. Alton's hand was resting on top of Monica's, and she slapped it away, saying, "I hope everything is well."

"I'm good. I'm just worn out from the flight," she said, and Monica excused her.

I left too after a little while. Simply grinning tightly as she watched me walk away, Myrah seemed to know where I was heading.

I entered the house after Caylee. She h

ad vanished, and I had no idea why she needed me at all. The sound of whatever it was was perilous.
