Chapter 9 - Unsheathe 3

A few hours had passed since the sun had begun to rise, casting a soft glow over the inn where Daku and Tana lay fast asleep.

Suddenly, Tana stirred, finding herself not quite ready to return to slumber. With a sense of restlessness, she decided to step outside for a leisurely walk.

As she strolled through the inn's surroundings, a gentle breeze brushed against her face, prompting a contented sigh. Their predicament had left them stranded here, forced to coexist with the enigmatic Demons.

Survival now meant securing money, food, shelter, and clothing—a daunting endeavor akin to starting life anew in an unfamiliar world.

In that moment, the distant call of birds departing from the nearby mountains caught Tana's attention. She lifted her gaze to the towering peaks, hesitating briefly before embarking on a journey towards them.

After some time, she arrived at the place where Denchi's sword was firmly lodged. Her steps slowed as she approached, and she extended her hand towards the sword's hilt, attempting to draw it from its resting place.

However, her efforts proved futile as the sword remained firmly embedded.

With that she sighed, she wanted to see if she could remove it and help Daku but it was as hard as a rock.

She couldn't even make move slightly. With that, she was ready to go back to The Inn but just then, she heard the voices of four men as they made their way to the mount where she was.

Upon seeing them, her body flinched slightly at their presence. They were huge and tall and had head like that of pigs, they were dressed in dirty clothes and had huge and gnarled hands that looked as if they were accustomed to hard labor or worse.

As the pig-headed men approached, Tana's heart quickened its pace. She knew she was alone, and the isolation in this strange world had already made her cautious. The sight of these grotesque beings stirred a mix of fear and curiosity within her.

Their eyes, small and beady, darted around as they surveyed the area. The leader of the group, with a particularly sinister grin, pointed directly at Tana.

His voice, gruff and guttural, broke the silence of the mount. "Well, well, what do we have here?" he sneered, revealing jagged, yellowed teeth that added to his nightmarish appearance.

Tana stood frozen, unsure of how to react to these unsettling figures. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she assessed her options.

Should she stay and confront them, or retreat to the safety of The Inn? The decision weighed heavily on her as the pig-headed men closed in, their intentions still shrouded in mystery.

Within just a second, the pig-headed men moved with surprising agility and took hold of Tana.

Their massive, gnarled hands closed around her arms, their grip surprisingly strong. She struggled in their grasp, but their collective strength overpowered her.

Tana's heart raced as fear coursed through her veins. Panic threatened to consume her as she realized the direness of her situation.

She glanced around desperately, searching for any means of escape or help, but the desolate mount offered no immediate assistance.

The leader, with his twisted grin, leaned in closer, his foul breath assaulting her senses. "Looks like we've got ourselves a little woman to have fun with boys," The leader's lewd remark sent a shiver down Tana's spine, intensifying her fear.

A/N: Horny Monsters!

Hearing his words, Tana tried to escape but found her breast grabbed by the leader as she let out a slight scream.

"L-let go of me," she said as silent tears fell down her eyes.

With only one person to call for, Tana used all her Strength to scream, "Ahhhh Dakuu! Help me!"

Hearing his vile words, Tana desperately attempted to break free from their grip, but her escape was thwarted as the leader's hand closed around her breast, eliciting a sharp scream from her.

"T-let go of me," she stammered, tears streaming down her cheeks as fear and anger welled up within her.

With no one else around to aid her, Tana summoned every ounce of her strength and let out a piercing cry for help. "Ahhhh, Dakuu! Help me!"

The chilling cry echoed through the desolate landscape, carrying with it a plea for assistance in this perilous moment.

Meanwhile, upon hearing the piercing scream, Daku, who had awakened moments earlier, bolted out of the inn, instantly recognizing the voice as Tana's.

"Tana, where are you!?" he shouted in frantic concern, his heart pounding with worry.

A second cry for help reached his ears, this time echoing from the direction of the mountain. Without hesitation, Daku sprinted towards the looming peaks, fueled by a surge of adrenaline and fear for Tana's safety.

Upon reaching the mountain's peak and seeing Tana in the clutches of the pig men, her shirt torn and exposing her round fair breast, Daku's anger surged. He clenched his fists, his eyes filled with a mix of concern and fury.

Approaching the scene cautiously, he demanded answers from the menacing figures. "Who are you, and what do you want with Tana?" His voice carried with an intensity that reverberated through the air.

In response, the leader of the Pig men chuckled darkly, his pig-like snout wrinkling with amusement. "How interesting, you called your little human boyfriend here for help. What makes you think he'll be able to do anything about any of this?"

With a sinister grin, the leader made a threatening gesture. "Hey boy, why don't I show you what I intend to do with your little lady!" He charged toward Daku, his intentions far from benevolent.

Daku braced himself, determined to protect Tana from these vile creatures in the impending confrontation that loomed before him.

However, the reality proved harsh. Despite his resolve, he couldn't withstand the force of the punch delivered by the leader. He found himself flung away, helpless against the sheer power of the pig-headed men.

Battered and bitten, Daku refused to yield. Even as the others joined their leader in the assault, he fought on tenaciously, driven by an unwavering determination not to give up.

Meanwhile, Tana's cries for them to stop fell on deaf ears. The relentless blows rained down on Daku, causing blood to stream down his face. Nature seemed to mock their plight, as a torrential downpour began, drenching them all.

In the end, nearly beaten to the point of unconsciousness, Daku finally succumbed, collapsing to the ground. The pig men laughed in sinister unison as they turned their attention towards Tana, who cried and struggled against their overpowering strength.

Lying prone on the wet ground, raindrops biting at his battered body, Daku struggled to open his eyes. Weak and lifeless, he felt the weight of failure press upon him. He had failed to unsheathe the sword, and now he had failed to protect Tana, his first and closest friend.

"No! I can't let them take her away. She's mine! She's my friend! I'll protect her, no matter what!" Daku's determination surged through him as he summoned every last ounce of his strength.

With a surge of energy and unwavering determination, Daku crawled toward the Demon Lord's sword, still sealed to the ground.

With every fiber of his being, he gripped the sword's handle and…With a surge of energy and unwavering determination, Daku gripped the sword's handle with all his might. As he pulled, a tremor coursed through the blade, and the very air seemed to crackle with an eerie energy. It was as if the sword itself responded to his unwavering resolve.

"Finally! After five thousand years my sword has been awoken! You have awoken my sword, Now, I declare upon thee with the power within," Denchi continued, his words resonating with a commanding presence that sent shivers down Daku's spine.

"With this sword, I bestow upon you the strength to protect, the courage to endure, and the will to overcome. Rise, my champion, and face the darkness that threatens this world, Become the strongest Demon Lord that have ever lived!"

Suddenly, a surge of power surged through him, as though the spirit of the Demon Lord itself had awakened within him. His eyes blazed with newfound strength and purpose as he felt the raw, otherworldly power coursing through his veins.

In one swift, fluid motion, Daku unsheathed the sword, unleashing its full potential. The blade shimmered with an otherworldly glow, and he could feel the sheer might of the Demon Lord's power at his command.

With a fierce battle cry, Daku swung the sword with a single, mighty stroke. The blade sliced through the air, and as it struck, a shockwave of energy erupted. Two of the pig-headed men were instantly reduced to a burst of dark energy and smoke, their grotesque forms vanishing in an instant.

The remaining pig men, stunned by the sudden turn of events, hesitated for a moment, their confidence shattered. Daku stood there, sword in hand, his gaze steely and unwavering. He had tapped into a power he never knew existed, and he was ready to protect Tana at all cost.

The rain continued to pour down, mixing with the swirling energies of the battlefield. Daku and Tana had faced a dire threat, but now the balance of power had shifted, and the Demon Lord's sword had become their beacon of hope.
