Chapter 13 - Level 20, Let's fight!! 2

Amidst the eerie silence of the dungeon, Daku and Tana's hearts skipped a beat as a distant scream pierced the air. They exchanged alarmed glances before turning their attention to the source of the sound, a narrow corridor to their left. To their astonishment, a young girl in a pristine white nun's habit sprinted toward them, her terror etched across her face.

However, the girl's plea for help was not the only startling sight. Close behind her loomed a colossal and malevolent Evil Spirit, a menacing force that sent shivers down their spines.

"Help me, anyone? Please!" she implored, her voice quivering with fear.

Denchi, ever the source of knowledge, couldn't hide his concern. "That's a Level 20!" he warned, his words carrying the weight of the imminent danger.

In response, Daku's knuckles whitened as he clenched his sword, ready for action. Without hesitation, he took Tana's hand and guided her swiftly into a hidden alcove between the dungeon's walls.

"You stay here; it's too dangerous," he urged, his eyes filled with determination. However, Tana refused to yield, her resolve evident.

"I can help; just tell me what to do," she insisted, her grip on his hand unwavering.

Daku hesitated for a moment, torn between his concern for Tana's safety and his appreciation for her bravery. Ultimately, he gently removed her hand from his and spoke with conviction.

"It's too Dangerous. Just stay here," he said firmly, his gaze filled with a mixture of gratitude and worry. With that, he turned and left, his footsteps echoing as he vanished into the darkness of the corridor.

Without hesitation, Daku sprinted toward the approaching girl and the pursuing Evil Spirit. In one swift motion, he scooped her up, his powerful arms encircling her tiny waist, and carried her back to where Tana waited.

"Take care of her. I'll be back!" he called out urgently to Tana, his voice laced with determination.

Tana watched in apprehension as Daku disappeared into the corridor once more, her heart pounding with worry. "N-no wait, Daku!" she cried out, but he had already vanished into the depths of the dungeon, leaving her alone with the frightened girl and the looming threat of the Level 20 Evil Spirit.

**

Daku's footsteps echoed through the dimly lit dungeon, his heart pounding in anticipation. The ominous atmosphere weighed heavily upon him as he ventured further into the labyrinthine passages. He knew that confronting the Level 20 evil spirit would be the ultimate test of his skills and courage.

As Daku finally reached the chamber where the malevolent spirit awaited, he drew his sword with a resolute grip. The spirit materialized before him, its form a swirling vortex of darkness with crimson eyes that seemed to pierce into his soul. Without hesitation, Daku lunged forward, striking with all his might.

The clash of sword against the dark entity's essence sent shockwaves through the chamber, and for a moment, it seemed as though Daku might have the upper hand.

"Be careful Daku, Level 20 evil spirits are best at draining people's energy and life Force, you have to target it on it's fixed b

Spot!"

Denchi adviced as hearing that, Daku nodded.

He then ran around the evil spirit trying to find a trace of his fixed spot but he couldn't find any.

What the hell!!

But as the battle raged on, an eerie sensation crept over him. He felt his energy draining, as though the spirit was siphoning his very life force.

Daku's strikes grew weaker, his movements sluggish, and he stumbled, the cold, unforgiving stone floor rushing up to meet him. His vision blurred, and the malevolent spirit cackled triumphantly, sensing victory within its grasp.

The world spun around Daku as he lay helpless on the ground, the oppressive presence of the evil spirit bearing down on him. Desperation washed over him as he struggled to regain his strength, but it seemed futile. He was on the brink of defeat, his spirit nearly broken.

In that dire moment, as darkness threatened to consume him entirely, he heard the voice of someone he totally didn't expect.

"Hay Spirit! Why don't you come get me!" Tana's voice was loud enough to get the attention of Daku and the evil spirit that was on top of him and with that, the Evil Spirit charged Tana who made a run for it.

With the Evil Spirit gone, the nun girl from before then quickly ran to Daku's side as she helped him up.

Still in pain but in worry for Tana, Daku said, "What the hell are you two doing, go away from here it's Dangerous and Tana does she want to get herself killed or something?"

He asked angrily, "Sir, Miss Tana said that I should tell you that the fixed spot you are looking for is underneath the Evil Spirit..."

The girl revealed as Daku seemed taken aback.

He had defeated countless of evil spirit through out this month but non of their fixed spot has ever been underneath them.

"Miss Tana already has a plan," the nun girl said as she then whispered something into Daku's hear.

Hearing her words, Daku seemed to have a slight smirk plastered across his lips.

"Tana, you're always such a strong minded woman!"
