"Oh my goodness!" Milky said in disbelief. She looks at Arthur who seemed unbothered by learning this news.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" she asked.
"What is there to say?" he asked carefreely. "I've only known them for a few months, and I don't really care if they divorce."
Ezra silently smiled. Although he thought Mrs. Dumas said she would be divorcing in a few months who could have convinced her to do this early? 'Could it be Arthur?' he thought looking up. He should be the one to do that.
But why would he allow Mrs. Dumas to leave and not him? He couldn't wrap his head around it. Has Arthur always been this confusing?
Milky felt like a friend that is being left out on something important. But it is not her place to ask or try to interfere, it is a matter of the Dumas family and she is not part of the Dumas family neither is she involved with the family like Ezra is.
