The news of Ezra getting a bronze medal was known by everyone in school. He was presented to the entire school much to his dismay.
He was basically a mini-celebrity in school, and everyone wanted to be friends with him. Arthur and Milky stood as bodyguards for him, basically scaring off everyone who wanted to get close to him.
This didn't last very long though because soon enough, the exams came around and nobody had time to be friends with anybody.
This was the time to know those that were serious and those that were unserious. The atmosphere of the school became even more depressing than usual.
Normally, no one is this serious during exam periods because the questions are usually repeated questions from the last semester.
This semester though, the teachers decided to be kind by warning the students that the questions were going to be new sets of questions. Nobody would be able to pass unless they actually read.
