Following Emily, after I had caught up to Spirit, Cyvin, Typhoon, Eihnieh, and Seldra.
Emily questioned," What did the Commander want you for?"
I sighed," He wanted to make a deal with me."
Cyvin began to prod," What kind of deal?"
Looking at the impulsive angelic fire dragon," They want me to build something, though they probably want me to use my telekinesis and spirit fire for the metal and building."
Emily spoke seriously," What do they want you to build for the organization."
I grinned mischievously," Oh, I have a guess, and well, he is not going to like what happens when I finish it."
Spirit paled a tad," Uh, is it just me, or does everyone else have a bad feeling that Xyv here will sabotage whatever he is building."
Eihnieh groaned," Nope, Xyv, you going to tell us?"
A dark glint was visible in my blue eyes," Not sure yet, but it most likely is a weapon. Also, Spirit is not wrong, and I am not sabotaging it per se, just making sure it backfires."
Cyvin looked confused," How is it going to backfire?"
Seldra got it first," You are going to make it blow up in their faces."
I responded cryptically," No, but it will provide them with a hit they cannot recover from. No offense, Emily."
Emily shrugged," In all honesty, I want to watch W.D.D.C. take a significant blow, and who better than yourself."
I had kept track of the turns as we entered a large room big enough to fit at least three hundred wyverns and dragons of Lady Vesta's size. Immediately, all talking seized as I entered the large room. I sighed in annoyance as Emily spoke," I will see you six later, and Xyverinos try not to kill anyone. I have a feeling even with your abilities sealed, you can still kill everyone in here."
I shrugged," Actually, that's not true. I am not the strongest in physical form, but the mind is where I excel."
Emily shrugged and left as I moved towards a corner away from everyone and silently watched all of them. Then, with clopping hooves coming towards me, a Unicorn stood about ten feet from me.
Confused, I asked," Do you need something, Unicorn?"
The horse-like animal shook its head," No, young one, I just wished to meet the one who has given W.D.D.C so much trouble."
Like all the other creatures here, it had a collar around its neck that disabled all the abilities," You are someone who has a significant and painful destiny ahead of your young one. I wish I could help you, but the power of the future is tricky."
Before I could say a word, he turned around and left, heading back towards his head,' Yes, I know the power of the future is tricky. But what does he mean?'
Laying my head down, I heard a nervous I answered pretty well," Hello, Xyverinos."
Without looking, I answered," Hello, Yrvae, it has been over a year since I last spoke to you. How are you doing, and how is Oaphae doing?"
She looked stunned," You remember Oaphae?"
Turning my neck to look at my old friend, I said," Of course. Who else is here?"
She sighed," all the former collarless are here, well, minus Deniard, who the Dragon Hunter killed."
In response, I replied," And I killed him."
Yrvae sighed," Of course you did. I felt your power when you willed all the equipollences to stop during the battle."
I sighed," During the battle, I didn't even show half of the power I possess. I should have just obliterated the army. But I am still too soft."
Another familiar figure walked into view, Lady Argenta," Hello, Xyverinos, it has been some time."
Nodding curtly," Yes, it has been some time; have you heard what happened to your father?"
She looked down at me and shook her head," No, I have seen Mother, but she hasn't told me what happened to Father."
I spoke bluntly," Inferno is dead."
Her eyes widened in shock as she uttered," How?"
I stood up, meeting her dead in the eye, and like most wyverns or dragons who knew Inferno, they thought he was invincible," He was killed in battle by Unla's brother."
She looked confused," Who is Unla?"
It dawned on me that she didn't know who Unla was," Unla was the Dragon Hunter that had chased me for over a year. I killed him the same day your father died."
She took a shaky breath," How did my little brother handle it."
I answered," He is alright; I don't know if he is grieving right now, but I know he will pull through. He is also furious at me for letting me get captured."
A third voice came above me," Oh, hello, Xyv."
I said," Hello, Aldrentoa, it's been a while."
She chuckled," As blunt as ever, eh Xyv."
I flickered my tail. I replied," Well, yeah, especially after all the drama that has happened to me these last two years."
She admitted," That's fair, especially with you being so young; tell me your six now, correct?"
I nodded," Yeah, I am. I am surprised you remembered. Can I ask you something?"
She smiled," Go ahead?"
I questioned," I noticed you weren't at the battlefield. Why?"
She began to shift from foot to foot nervously, as I now suspected that she was gravid or something along those lines.
She stuttered," W-well, I am gravid."
Still shocked despite my guess being spot on, my eyes widened as I smiled lightly," Congratulations, when do you lay your eggs?"
She sighed," In a couple of weeks, I wait eight months for them to hatch."
Argenta sputtered," You never told me!"
Aldrentoa snarled," You never asked. Yet Xyverinos is nearly five hundred ten years younger than you, and he noticed almost immediately."
Argenta growled," He is far more observant if you haven't noticed."
I spoke sternly," Aldrentoa, go lay down and rest, Argenta. Shut up and go somewhere else; if you haven't realized, I am still angry at you for killing Innurth.
Yrvae sighed," You know we weren't in control, right."
Aldrentoa was about to speak, but with a pointed look from me, she turned and walked away," Yes, I do know that doesn't mean I still can't dislike you."
They both nodded and took that as their cue to leave.
Laying my head back down, I heard a voice calling my name. As I looked around noticed two humans, one of them I was not too fond of, the other an old friend. The Commander and Thomas stood side by side as I sighed, standing up before walking over to them.
Thomas smiled," Hello, Xyverinos. It's a pleasure to see you for the second time you have been here."
In irritation, I flicked my tail," Likewise. Now, what do you want? I just saw you almost an hour ago."
The Commander smiled," Oh, I thought you would like to start your job."
Searching for any signs of him lying, I nodded," Not like I have a choice, to begin with, and I'd rather not be forced to have a mate when I turn eight."
Thomas growled," You would force him to mate, sir."
The Commander raised a hand," He is the last of his kind, a pure-blooded Angelic Wyvern, and very powerful. But no, we made a deal, and I will honor that deal, especially since I don't want him to kill me when he reaches equipollence."
Laughing softly, I spoke coldly but softly," It wouldn't matter if I reach equipollence well, everyone here would die. Even if I am not an equipollence, I have enough power to destroy at least half of Zaten."
The Commander gulped," Well, that's not good."
Thomas snorted," No, he would destroy this entire area."
Flicking my tail, I spoke," Let's get back on a task, perhaps, so that I can get this little project over with faster."
The Commander turned around, walking away and down the hall as I followed him.
Thomas walked beside me as I asked," What rank are you now? When you returned to them, you were a Captain."
Thomas sighed sadly," I wish that day never happened, but I am a Lieutenant Commander now."
Surprised slightly, I sighed," Yeah, I wish that day never happened as well."
The Commander spoke," Here we are, Xyverinos, your workplace."
Narrowing my eyes, I looked at lots of metal stacked up and large pieces of paper with drawings as I noticed a long barrel and spoke in a blank tone," So I am building a weapon, after all."
The Commander nodded," Yeah, wait, what do you know?!"
Hissing softly, I growled," Of course I did. You gave it away when I asked you earlier; I am very observant if you haven't noticed."
The Commander turned towards me without a word and pressed a button, and the silver rings that blocked out my powers popped off as he spoke," The only powers you will be allowed to use are your flames and telekinesis."
I heard the collar beep as I nodded," Alright, understood."
Turning my attention towards the pile of metal, I lifted a giant piece of metal from the pile with my telekinesis. Then, opening my mouth, I gathered the flames in my mouth and released them. Bluish white flames, utterly different from the original white, slammed into the metal. As heat radiated from the metal, the metal began to glow red hot. Then, with my telekinesis, I forced the metal to bend like putty and began the skeleton of the weapon.
