Scarlet woke up to the first rays of sun that entered the room and she prepared for school that morning. She picked out a green solid top with long sleeves and a black skirt that went up to her waist and she matched it with a black boot. The day would be just like any other day, she thought and was determined to go through it. She wished her day would go well. She just wanted to be normal. She told herself before leaving the house that she would be the Scarlet everyone knew, the one she probably isn't used to at the moment.
She stepped out of the house and shut the door before turning on her heels and she walked down the walk path but she has not taken more than three steps when she raised her eyes to see Johan leaning against his bicycle and looking at her.
Johan who saw Scarlet coming out of the house, looked at her in a different view and it made his jaw slightly drop. She looks different to him, than the other times he had seen her.
