Chapter 4 - Ch. 1.4

In the evening Lariel hung magic multi-colored lights and tiny silvery bells in the air gently ringing in the wind and turned the girl into a dance. Such a fab made her dizzy, her consciousness swam somewhere, and soon she no longer understood what was happening. His shining eyes penetrated into her soul and a dazzling smile bewitched her mind.

When she woke up in the dark, she felt herself squeezed in a strong embrace. With anxiety in her heart, she realized that a syrinx had wrapped around her. He slept tight and pressed her to him, comfortably covered with a wing. The girl frightened freed herself from his hands and ran away hiding in the house.

She desperately tried to remember what had happened: the last thing she saw yesterday was the sparkling purple flame of the syrinx's eyes and a hot kiss. No bites! What was next?

She wept bitterly, reproaching herself for her naivete and gullibility. He seduced her using his charms…. At least she is still alive and not mad right now how it would be! Still dangerous… No joking: there was kind of wedding… with vampire, that beautiful monster! No way! She doesn't want be his wife!

In the morning, she heard Lariel woke up and called her but she kept silence.

"Kami, babe! Why are you hiding? Come out!"

He walked up to the house and pulled on the door.

"Why do not you answer? I know you are there."

"Get out, I don't want to see you anymore," - the girl shouted loudly.

"You didn't like my caresses?" - There was surprise in his voice.

He continued demandingly pulling on the sturdy door, trying to take it off its hinges.

"Kami! Open! You are my wife now and there is no point in hiding. Did you think I was just entertaining you? I'm serious! I chose you to be my sweet darling!"

He began to walk around the low wooden house trying to figure out how to break it down and get to the girl.

"I see… One of us made it. Too strong!" - he muttered in annoyance.

Syrinx could easily burn this house to the ground but the girl would die from smoke and flames.

"Say something! - the vampire exclaimed desperately. - Was it really that bad?"

"What else do you need from me? You've got what you wanted and get lost!"

Kamily started crying bitterly.

"I need you! Come out!" - the syrinx demanded loudly, pounding on the house with his fists.

Frustrated by the girl's stubbornness Lariel sat down away and languished for a long time waiting she might leave her shelter. He shuddered at the sudden appearance from the forest of his father Darien the mighty syrinx bigger him twice.

"Here you are! Why didn't you answer me? Are you injured? What's with the wing?"

He looked at Lariel with concern.

"Oh, it will take a long time to heal. Are you here alone?"

"Yes, dad, an abandoned house no one is there," - Lariel objected wanting to keep everything a secret.

The father carefully picked up his son and soared up noisily raising the wind.
