She reached out her hands and pulled his head down. Her lips pressed on his own.
Xavier's moment of shock came and his thoughts immediately became messy.
His hand on her neck loosened and the people under his control were left.
His eyes were wide in disbelief. Because he had been too slow to react, his inner demon which was faster than him immediately took over.
He fell into the kiss. He gained control of it. Domineeringly kissing her. Tasting her. Exploring every corner of her mouth.
Arianna too momentarily forgot her reason for doing this. She responded very quickly.
Their tongues danced around each other and Xavier's hand reached for the hem of her silk dress. Arianna reached her hands into his shirt, feeling his smooth and strong abdominal muscles. They were completely oblivious of the three people in the room as their body temperatures kept increasing.
Even Ferlin who had seen many things, couldn't hide his shock. This scene was too heavy for his eyes. He closed his eyes afraid of seeing things that did not glorify His Majesty.
Xavier was immersed in the feeling of touching Arianna. He pulled down the hand of her dress, his blood boiling. The kiss became more fierce.
Army Commander Park had gotten to the Royal Infirmary as soon as His Majesty's anger dissipated. He arrived at the door and pushed it open. What met him was the most unexpected and unreal scene he had seen in his entire life.
His Majesty was on a bed with a woman pressed under him. They were kissing passionately and her clothes had been harassed by him. Elder Lorenzo, Ferlin and the Royal Doctor stood in a corner staring at them like they were watching some live pornography. If such a scene wasn't considered shocking, then what kind of scene was it?
What was even more surprising was that the woman was a human. An ordinary human. Was His Majesty's taste so heavy?
The sound of the door being pushed open was enough for Xavier's sanity to return. In less than ten seconds, he suppressed his inner demon and his lips pulled away from Arianna's.
The sudden change in their actions made the other four in the room to come back to their senses. They knew what to do better than anyone else as they all quickly squeezed themselves in one portal and vanished.
Arianna hadn't completely regained herself and when Xavier pulled away, she felt like bringing his head down and continuing the action. Xavier had already stood up by now. She gasped for breath. Xavier really made her loose herself. Gosh! He was such a good kisser.
She looked at him with longing in her eyes. Xavier ignored her and walked into a portal. He too disappeared.
Arianna sat up and immediately dressed herself. She had been too forward. She shouldn't have resorted to that. But she was relieved that it worked.
The door was pushed open and a short man with a bald head wearing a black cloak walked in. He was kind of talking to himself.
"Their presences have faded..." He paused and turned to look at Arianna. The human that was His Majesty's mate.
Earlier on, he had been sent out by Elder Lorenzo because of his continuous disapproval of the blood transfusion, so he didn't know anything that happened. Now, he came in and everyone including Army Commander Park who had just walked in was gone. He wondered what had transpired.
He released his aura which immediately suppressed Arianna. He smirked. Even if she was His Majesty's mate, she was still just a human.
He was about to interrogate her when Elder Lorenzo's voice sounded in his head.
"Do not touch the human. Lock the door and make sure the place is heavily guarded. Noone must go in and noone must go out." He said and cut his mind off.
Guard a human? That was ridiculous! What did she need guarding for? She was just a worthless human!
He sighed and withdrew his aura. He left to carry out the instructions.
...
Elder Lorenzo, Army Commander Park, Ferlin and the Royal Doctor were all couped up in a room. They were all silent. They had all just witnessed His Majesty lose himself to a woman.
"So can anyone tell me what is going on?" Army Commander Park asked breaking the silence.
"It can't be described in words." Elder Lorenzo replied.
Then silence ensued. Army Commander Park was curious but he knew that this kind of thing wasn't something he should delve into.
"All of you..." Xavier's voice said in their head scaring them. "Get over here now!" He said.
Slowly, a portal opened. They all entered it and appeared in Xavier's study. He was wearing another pair of clothes and the tips of his hair were wet. He seemed to have just finished bathing. All four minds couldn't help but wander.
He looked up at them.
"Calling a human your queen. You downgrade yourself and disrespect me." He began. He spoke as if what happened a while ago hadn't even happened. "I am disappointed."
He paused and they all thought that he had finished but he continued.
"What happened earlier..." He began and their hearts came up in their throats. "Park." He called.
"Yes, Your Majesty." He answered.
"You didn't see anything. You don't know about it. You came to the room because of my anger and met me punishing Ferlin, Lorenzo and Garth. You asked me to forgive them but I sent you away. You went back and continued your work." He said.
"Yes, Your..." He gave the answer that he would always give when his mind started twisting. He realized he was being controlled and made to believe what wasn't. He put up a resistance feeling unwilling to forget. He tried but soon he succumbed. He opened a portal and walked in like a mind-controlled zombie.
The other three in the room saw what happened and knew what Xavier would do next.
"Garth..." He began.
"No please. No. I promise I won't say anything. I didn't see anything." The Royal Doctor begged. Noone liked the feeling of being deceived by one's own self. He'd probably wake up tomorrow morning, thinking of something that really didn't happen.
Xavier ignored him and continued, "You didn't see anything. You know nothing."
"No. No. Please." He felt his mind twisting.
"You were punished by me alongside Ferlin and Lorenzo for calling a human your queen. You never stabbed the human neither did Ferlin ever bring the human. You went home after that and reflected on yourself." He finished and the Royal Doctor just like Army Commander Park walked into a portal and disappeared.
"Lorenzo." Xavier began.
"Xavier, you wouldn't really do that to me. I am your right hand. You can trust me the most." He said.
Xavier knew he could trust Lorenzo. The only thing that made him do this was the shame. He was ashamed of himself. To have such physical contact with a human was very unlikely for him. He had never touched a woman, let alone kissing one. Arianna was the first. A faint blush could not help but creep to his cheeks.
Ferlin saw the light pink clouds on His Majesty's cheek and was secretly surprised. His Majesty... was actually blushing?
"You didn't see anything. You don't know anything." Xavier continued regardless.
"Xavier! Xavier!" Elder Lorenzo was shouting now.
"You were punished by me alongside Ferlin and Garth for calling a human your queen. You never stabbed the human neither did Ferlin ever bring the human. You went back to your workplace and continued working." He finished and Elder Lorenzo just like the Royal Doctor left too.
Xavier turned his eyes and settled it on Ferlin. Ferlin lowered his head, quite nervous. He was about to be controlled but for him, as long as it was His Majesty, there was no problem.
"Do to me as you wish, Your Royal Majesty." He said.
"Ferlin..." He began. "You are forgiven. Take care of Lorenzo and Garth."
Ferlin immediately understood. His own memory was not erased. His heart felt slightly happy. After all, he was the first one to call Arianna queen.
"As you wish, Your Royal Majesty." He said and bowed. He was on his way to inflict some injuries on Elder Lorenzo's and the Royal Doctor's body inorder to make them believe they had truly been punished. He walked into a portal and vanished.
As for Arianna...
Xavier appeared in the room of the infirmary. He looked at her. She was laying on the bed. Looking up at the ceiling and playing with her fingers like a child. Stupid human.
She sat up as soon as she heard his footsteps. She was too shy to look up at his face. She didn't know what expression to put on. She just felt awkward. Her behavior a while ago was too...wrong. Wrong in the weird kind of way.
"Human, raise your head." He said.
She slowly raised her head and met his eyes. Xavier had been mentally prepared so he was able to control his heart skipping.
"What happened earlier..." He began.
"There's no need to bring it up. I'm very sorry, Your Majesty. I hope you forgive me." She said.
He ignored her and continued. "Nothing happened. You don't know that I am the King, neither do you know that you are my mate. You never left your unit..."
Arianna felt her mind twisting.
"Xavier, are you controlling me?" She asked bewildered.
"After bathing..."
"Xavier! I don't want to be controlled." She complained.
"You put on your uniform..."
"Xavier, you're not listening to me!" She said and pouted.
Xavier felt this human was very noisy but he couldn't stop or else he would ruin the spell.
"You went for your training..."
"Xavier!" She screamed and got up from the bed. She made to walk forward but she realized she couldn't move.
"You got the same treatment as before..."
"I won't listen. No. I don't agree to this." She said and closed her ears. She didn't know that female mates were designed to be submissive and obedient to the male mates while the male mates were designed to be protective and possessive of the female mates. This was an advantage Xavier had.
"When you retired from training..."
"Lalala. Lalala. Lalala." She sang and pushed her fingers in her ears. "I'm not listening."
"You went to sleep." He finished.
Arianna felt her mind twisting. She held herself.
"Xavier! Stop this! I said I don't want to be controlled." She said but her words were like throwing a feather into the sea, they fell on deaf ears.
She struggled for a while more before she eventually gave in and closed her eyes.
"Not bad." He said.
He took her back to her unit and compelled everyone to thinking that she had been around the entire time. Although, this time he didn't say it individually. He just said it to the general who said it to everyone else.
