The stare down of the ages. Zach and the boy are facing each other intensely. The boy's pure white stained eyes soon grasped Zach's attention. Then in a nervous yet subtle effort. "You, are you an Ultima?" Zach said in confusion. The Ultima is someone who has the powers of an Elemental but has strength surpassing even werewolves. In order for the Ultima powers to be activated, it requires the user to use their eyes. Their eyes would change color depending on their Ultima ability.
The boy did not respond as he quickly rushed Zach with another attempt to the neck. Zach immediately knew that the boy had no combat skills and he parried his attack. He then soon follows that up with a grab to the head. But he misses due to the boy's insane speed. "Why can't we talk this through?" Zach shouted. Zach was confused, he thought there was only one in existence. Then he notices that the boy has started to run slower.
His speed decreased. Zach thought.
Zach gets a good look at the boy's face and realizes that his eyes changed back to dark red. Once realizing this he immediately stops because he believes the boy wants to talk. The boy stopped in his tracks and Agent Miller woke back up and saw Zach and the kid. "You all took everything from me!" The boy shouted. The boy began to sob tears and mourn. "What do you mean? I just got here." Zach said. "The men wearing the same outfit you are wearing have arrived and destroyed the city!" The boy said. Zach is shocked to think for a second that members of the GFC (Guardian Forces Commission) would ever commit such violence. Agent Miller soon realized that since they were on the island they did find something. A badge from one of their men was scorched at the scene. His face changed as if Agent Miller made him look like an idiot.
Zach did not want to believe such a thing, but he knew the boy was in danger. "What is your name?" Zach said. The boy still mourning soon had enough courage to mumble one word. "Nate" "Nate, if what you are saying is true, then you are in danger," Zach said. "Let us get you off the island so you can stay safe." It took a while of convincing but Nate soon agreed. They began heading towards their boat.
In between the leaves, they immediately took cover, as they see members of the GFC confiscating their vessel. A count of at least fifteen soldiers on the beach shore. "What are we going to do?" Nate said. "I can find us another way off the island." Agent Miller replied. Zach does not want to start a fight. "Nate, no matter what happens, stay here," Zach said. As soon as he agreed, Zach and Agent Miller soon went to confront them. "What is the commission about?" Zach said. The soldiers soon faced the two and activated their powers and raised their weapons. Agent Miller quickly pulled out his pistol. "Lower your weapons, we are not one of the rogue soldiers," Zach said. The soldiers continue to not listen to Zach. "Sir, you violate treason and hold the possession of the Ultima." The soldier said. Zach, confused, soon realizes he is screwed. Then Nate punches one of the trees. Reveals himself with his ears and tail. He began charging one of the soldiers.
"Get Back!" Zach said. Nate soon realizes he is surrounded by soldiers. "Take one more step, kid and we will fire." The soldier said. The grains of sand move in between everyone. The ocean and its cool breeze along the shore. Nate begins to call the soldiers' bluff and starts walking toward them as they slowly back away. They continue to say they will shoot him but they don't. Then all of a sudden all of the soldiers' eyes turned purple. As if someone was mind-controlling them. Now without hesitation, they immediately fire at Nate. Everyone thinks Nate is dead, they soon realize there are no bullet wounds on his body. His eyes turned pure white like glacier mountain tops. "The Ultima!" The soldier shouted. Zach, shocked by the boy's tactics, sprang into action. Bullets flying everywhere and clashing weaponry create the ultimate battlefield.
Then a sense of tremors begins to shake the ground. "Is the ground moving?" Agent Miller queried. Zach looked up to the north and saw a soldier creating large boulders out of thin air. "Shit!" Zach said to himself. Nate began running towards the Earth Elementalist. (Elementalist - Being who is capable of using Elemental Powers.) "Kid, where are you going?" Zach shouted. Nate's eyes made contact with the Elementalist. Then, Nate slams his hands into the ground with the right amount of applied force. Neutralizing the attack with his own. "Incredible," Zach said. "We have to go! If not, we will soon be overwhelmed." Agent Miller said. Zach called Nate telling him they are leaving.
As they are running, Zach gives them the plan. He is going to cause a distraction so they can take the ship so they can get out of there. Some time has passed and the sun has begun setting. The GFC is in search of the Ultima. All of a sudden an explosion on the west side of the island appears. Soldiers began heading over to the location and saw Zach knock out two soldiers. "It's the captain!" One of the soldiers in fear tells him to put his weapons down. Seeing the soldier's fear he tries to make a deal with them. "How about you all tell me why you decided to detain me and we will figure it out from there," Zach said. "In violation of treason and having the Ultima in your possession, you will be detained." Soldier said. With a calm smile, Zach sighs and says. "That's too bad, I don't want to hurt any more soldiers."
The reason why the soldiers fear Zach is because he is one of the strongest werewolves in the world. However, what the soldiers don't know is why he is so strong because he used to be the former Ultima. "Before I passed on my power to Teo, I had the powers of the gods. My son will soon grow to become the strongest Ultima of all time. Which is why I cannot abandon him and leave him alone." Zach said.
Revealing his ears and tail, he began attacking the soldiers. One by one they began dropping like flies. While Zach continues fighting the GFC, Agent Miller and Zach board the boat. Agent Miller told Nate that we will pick up Zach. Then Zach defeated all of the soldiers on the beach. The wind began to rapidly build up. A helicopter moves onto the beach shore and Zach feels such a strange presence.
"Whatever is on the plane is going to kill me," Zach said. Zach began feeling so scared he was frozen in fear. The hatch began to open and Zach felt the slightest nerve telling him to run. But he stayed to fight because he needed to distract them long enough. Soon he was pinned to the sand of the beach. "How" he questioned. He looks at his wrist and feet only to be shocked by them being connected in chains by the sand.
I don't believe it. Zach thought.
The boat arrives and they see Zach pinned down. Not being able to move he told Agent Miller to leave. Hesitation in Agent Miller knowing if he did not leave then he would be killed. But he does not want to leave Zach behind. "That is an order! Our job is not complete! Go!" Zach shouted. Agent Miller leaves as the soldiers begin firing at the boat. Then Zack sees the person he was so afraid of. The mysterious aura turns everything into a black void.
Teo in his room woke up to his alarm. As he gets ready for the day he begins feeling some discomfort. But he ignores it as this is Teo and his friends' first day at his new high school. They begin to walk towards the school and then reach the entrance, Teo says,
"First Day of School."
