Lloyd's POV
Later, at night, after work, I decided to go for a walk in the nearby forests to clear my mind, leaving the remaining work to Zeke. I luckily brought the same sword Sati lent to me for self-defense. And while walking in the dark forests, I began to contemplate how I, unlike most people, didn't have any magic. I don't even know what my magic is.
"Am I different?" I asked myself as I stopped walking.
I then sighed. "I think I'm useless without magic."
After that negative statement, I pointed my right hand towards the ground and raised it up.
But I regretted having that thought, and said to myself, "No, I am different. I can be anyone."
Then, suddenly, I heard some groaning coming from behind, so I turned around and drew out my sword for self-defense. And then, out of the dark, an undead creature came forward.
"Woah, what? An Undead?" I commented while freaking out a bit.
I then noticed that it has wolf ears, so I speculated that it was a wolf, an Undead wolf.
But, as I moved my hand unintentionally, the Undead wolf moved towards me.
I got scared, so I screamed for help as loud as I can.
Then, I flinched in fear, but when I lower my guard down, the Undead wolf didn't attack me at all.
It just stood there, doing nothing at all.
Amazed by this, I moved my hand horizontally, causing the Undead wolf to move as if it was going to attack.
I then flinched once more, but I lower my guard again, seeing the Undead wolf not attacking me at all. "What is that?"
Then, I heard someone calling my name. When I looked behind the Undead wolf, it was Sati, Xerxes, and Hale, who might had heard my scream for help.
"Lloyd-sama!" one of them called.
"Are you okay?"
But, when they see that Undead wolf, they were reactive with fear.
But then, Xerxes suddenly started to look at it and trying to recognize it by looks. "Is that...?"
"Wait, what?" I asked back. Then, Xerxes was surprised.
"That's...That's my dead comrade!"
Me and the others are very surprised to hear that.
"Dead comrade?" Hale asked.
"Your comrade from your tribe?" Sati added.
Xerxes then looked at them. "Yes, for 3 years, killed by humans."
But the most shocking thing they saw is that when I moved my left arm, the Undead wolf moved, too.
Xerxes then glanced at me. "How did you...?"
"I don't know," I tried to reason why and how that happened. "I just moved my hands and it moved, too."
The three of them are amazed by my ability.
"I think that's magic of yours," Sati suggested.
I was surprised to hear that. "What? Magic?"
"Yeah, that was necromancy," Hale responded.
"Necromancy?!"
"Yeah, or something close to that," Xerxes replied.
I then put Sati's sword back in its scabbard. "I see."
I tilted my head slightly downwards. "I think I had awakened my magic."
"Magic?" Hale replied.
"Yeah, I never had any magic before. That's the main reason why I was exiled."
I then moved my hand down, causing the Undead wolf to sink into the ground.
"That's it?" Xerxes retorted. "For having no magic? That's stupid!"
I then tilted my head normally. "Yeah, and I think I did it. I discovered my true magic."
The rest couldn't say anything about it because they can't think of an opinion to it.
"Let's just tell this to Zeke," Sati suggested.
Me and the rest agreed, and we all returned to the capital.
That night was a big discovery for me.
