The next day, they visited the marriage bureau to obtain their marriage certificates.
"My driver will pick you up. Here is the key to my house," Jordy stated after they received their certificates.
"Why would I need your key?" Lianne inquired.
"Since we are married now, we will be living together," Jordy explained.
After saying their goodbyes, the designated driver arrived to take Lianne to Jordy's house. Fortunately, the house was empty, allowing her to quickly pack a few essentials before heading to Jordy's residence.
Upon entering the house, Lianne encountered the same woman she had met the day before.
"Welcome, young miss," the woman greeted her.
"You can call me Xiaomi instead of 'young miss'," Lianne suggested.
"Alright, Xiaomi, I am Song Churan, the head housekeeper. I have cared for Jordy since he was a child and manage the villa when he is present. When he is away, I return to the Ji family villa. I have been overseeing the household for 30 years," Song Churan explained.
"Jordy and the Ji family have been very supportive," Song Churan added.
Song Churan directed two maids to assist Lianne with unpacking and organizing her belongings in her room.
Later that day, Jordy returned from work and conversed with Song Churan.
"Where is Anna?" Jordy inquired upon greeting her.
"She went to the garden earlier, but I am unsure of her current whereabouts," Song Churan replied.
"Fine, I will be in my room. Please include a glass of milk with breakfast from now on, as Anna enjoys it in the morning," Jordy instructed before heading upstairs.
In the bedroom, Lianne found Jordy inside the closet upon her arrival. She sat on the bed, only for Jordy to enter the room in pajamas, triggering her surprise.
"Why are you here?" Lianne exclaimed, noticing his unbuttoned shirt and bare torso. She struggled to maintain composure as she observed his wet hair and toned physique.
"It's impolite to stare," Jordy remarked, moving closer to her.
Startled, Lianne stammered, "Wh-why are you here?"
"This is my room. Where else would I be?" Jordy replied, drawing nearer to her.
Attempting to leave, Lianne was stopped as Jordy pulled her back and drew her closer with a firm grip.
"You," Lianne faltered, overwhelmed as Jordy's presence and scent enveloped her, stirring her emotions.
Before anything further could transpire, Jordy retreated to his side of the bed, remarking, "We are a couple. Why sleep in separate beds?"
The following morning, Lianne awoke to find Jordy watching her with intense black eyes from beside her.
"Good morning," Lianne greeted him.
"Mornin'," Jordy responded in a husky morning voice that intrigued Lianne.
As Jordy's gaze lingered, Lianne avoided eye contact, prompting a chuckle from him at her bashfulness.
"You can use this bathroom, I'll use the one in the guest room," Jordy directed as he got up.
After their morning routine, Lianne met Song Churan downstairs, exchanging pleasantries while awaiting Jordy's presence.
When Jordy appeared and prepared to depart, Lianne inquired, "Where are you headed?"
"I am off to the office. Punctuality is essential to set an example for my employees," Jordy explained.
Concerned about his well-being, Lianne suggested Jordy eat breakfast. Remembering their shopping plans, Jordy proposed a shopping trip upon noticing Lianne's limited clothing.
"I noticed you didn't bring much attire. Shall we go shopping?" Jordy offered.
"I can retrieve my clothing from home. You need not spend your money," Lianne countered.
"You are my wife. I wish to provide for you," Jordy insisted, gently patting her hair.
Ultimately, Lianne consented, and they set off for the shopping mall after Jordy called his assistant to notify him of his absence.
Upon their arrival, Jordy received a call, prompting him to entrust his card to Lianne before tending to the call.
