"Its alright. I already spoke to director Sunny and she said she didn't tell anyone about it and I trust her" Lianne said
"Don't worry, I'll find out who spread the gossip" Jordy said in a reassuring tone
"Come on, let's eat. My lunch break is almost over" Lianne said as Jordy sat beside her on the couch.
There was a variety of food placed on the antique glass table in front of them.
"Should I just increase your lunch time?" Jordy asked with a serious expression on his face as he opened the food letting the aroma of each mix together in a captivating manner
"You are an abuser of power" Lianne said with a giggle but was touched deep inside.
They ate almost all the food and began tidying up.
"So what would you like to have for dinner?" Jordy asked Lianne in a calm tone.
"Uhm... My team is having a dinner to welcome the interns. I have to attend it" Lianne said looking at Jordy
"How about I tell Director Sunny to exclude you from the dinner?" Jordy said with a pout. 'How could he not be able to have dinner with his own wife'
"Come on, you can't do that. I'll be fine and I promise to come back early" Jordy said while wrapping her hands around his waist as they were now standing.
"Fine, it's not like I have much of a choice" Jordy said returning the hug. They hugged for a few more minutes before Lianne had to leave for her work
After they closed from work, they all left the building waiting for a taxi when all of a sudden, a black Porsche parked in front of them and a man in suit stepped out.
He walked to where Song Yu stood with the rest of her supporters and bowed respectfully making nothing look off but looking carefully, there was a slight interaction between the two.
"Young Madam, the president sent me to pick you up" the man said to her
"I told him not to worry" Song Yu said dramatically
"The President really dotes on his wife unlike some ungrateful people" The blonde haired lady snickered while referring to Lianne
"If you beg for mercy now, we'll let you join us" Song Yu said tauntingly making Lianne roll her eyes at her.
Song Yu and her minions entered into the car and left.
Not long after, a Lamborghini stopped right in front of Lianne and Jordy's personal driver came down. He was tempted to address her as Mrs. Ji but quickly cautioned himself.
He informed her that her husband had sent him to take her to her destination and then led both Lianne and Kang Hye Jin who didn't follow the others.
He took them to the exclusive underground parking lot of Gourmet palace and opened the door for them.
When they arrived at the downstairs lobby of the restaurant, Hye Jin asked Lianne why she didn't say anything about her husband being rich.
"Well you didn't ask" Lianne said simply before walking to where their colleagues where
"You guys took so long and made the President's wife wait for you" the red haired lady said this time
They went to the receptionist but was told that they could not have lunch there as it was strictly by reservation only.
"How dare you? This is the wife of the President of the Ji cooperations, this whole restaurant belongs to her husband and you still dare to speak like that?" Jiang Rui said
They continued to argue until the manager of the restaurant came down himself.
"Who dares to disturb the peace here?" his voice thundered. The receptionist explained to him what happened.
He looked at the women intending on sending them out until he saw Lianne. He immediately went towards her to greet her when she stopped him with a slight shake of the head signalling him not to
She and Jordy had come to have their dinner here a few days ago and the manager was the one who attended to them specially. He could still remember the wife of the President and so he didn't believe the story told to him earlier
"This lady can come in" he said referring to Lianne
"What? I think you got it all wrong. This is the wife of the President of Ji group yet you acknowledge a nobody like her?" the red haired said earning a slap from the manager.
"How dare you? Do you know who this is? You aren't worth knowing anyway" the manager said and led Lianne and Hye Jin into the restaurant as the rest seethed in anger.
When they got to the VIP area, Lianne asked the manager to let them in.
The girls downstairs were beginning to doubt Song Yu's identity when a waiter met them and led them to a room. The same room as Lianne but on different tables.
