I was in between wanting to puke and going for number two by the time I got home. Guess even beggars who eat from trashcans get stomachaches? Or am I the only one in this sector. But it was getting more bearable with every step.
I managed to climb over the wall and get inside my room with an upset stomach.
"Where are you from?"
That caught me off guard that I almost tripped back.
"Why are you in my room Sister Sena?" I question as I walk to my bed, ignoring her as she stood by the door.
"Where are you from?"
"You don't expect me to be comfortable in a bed your little sister violated now do you?" I raise my brow. She looked as if she could jump on me and tear me to pieces. She isn't cute.
"I have the authority question you, you are also my little sister, now answer me," she sounded so stern that I almost bought she was caring.
"Well don't worry, since I wasn't in your care I won't be like Sister Verbena," I blink once at her.
"I can give you punishment," she puts her hands on her oversize waist. Why did she have to take all the bad genes from her mother?
"You sound really stupid right now. Your sister acted like a fucking hoe and brought two men to my room and you know the behind the scenes really well Sena. You thought I was Verbena back in the room earlier. I haven't forgotten, Sena. Right now you shouldn't be just stupid to think that you could have done something before Verbena violated herself," I was calm.
But at least I got her.
I snort. "What, cat caught your tongue?"
"Look Sena, you have a future, be mature for once. I am a daughter of a prostitute and you are the daughter that will take on this estate. Do you think you have to do this?" I went on with a sigh. I look at her with a pitiful smile and shook my head. "Let me live peacefully, I am your youngest sibling. Just like how everyone in this house wants to be happy, I also want to be happy. If you stay away from me, I'll not even be that annoying to you. Just ignore me will you? I am tired of living like this," I explained more collectedly.
With that, I retired in the bed that disgusted me now. I should have just burned it after that incident. Right now it disgusted me more since I had to sleep in it knowing I saw it.
After a few seconds, I heard footsteps going out.
What I woke up to wasn't something I am used to. What?
"What the hell?" I say lazily as I approach the dozens of letters thrown through my window that I didn't know I had left open. What was so urgent, the first thing that came to my mind was that stranger...
Could it be.....?
Doubtfully, I pick one of it up. It read 'you are my fiance, not his'
What the fuck is that? I picked another one. 'You kissed me, that's a seal '
Another one 'you agreed to my proposal letter first'
'Meet me at the lake'
Is this fuck for real? I wanted to laugh out loud. It was just one kiss come on, maybe two, but-but still, it meant nothing.....?
I am so annoyed that I am feeling some butterflies. I shouldn't take his stalking behavior as romantic, and am not, but why do I find it exciting? That's absurd!!!
What does he think of himself? Meet him at the lake? What lake? What lake? I might as well as dry it off if it is what he takes as 'our' place.
I should just go and make it clear for him. Calix doesn't deserve this shit. It is already enough that he is interested in an ugly woman who had an ugly reputation but what if that ugly thing still cheats on him? Wouldn't that be disgusting?
"Where are you going?" I heard Myrcella's voice from a corner. I turn to look at her. Sena was standing behind her. Oh how much they looked alike.
"She even sneaked in last night," Sena says with a serious expression. She looked and sounded so mature that I had to think if I was really the one who was at wrong. I mean, she doesn't sound like Verbena's type.
"You got some mouth girl," I raise a brow at her. I then turn to her mother and scoffed. "You don't expect me to immediately sleep in a room your lovely daughter violated now do you?"
"What are you saying?!" Myrcella bellowed. She is not cute.
"Whatever you heard. Your daughter brought two men to my room, for shame. How disgusting, good lord."
"Stop talking nonsense unless you want it to spread!" she shushed me impatiently.
I clapped my hands with a laugh of pure disbelief. "What future does she have? She violated her body," I laugh again.
"She is beautiful, no man can avoid her charm," she snaps. That made my laugh become thunderous.
"Unlike you," Sena added.
Do they even know I barely have pimples now? Do they know that I am healing my poisoned face? Turns out mother didn't use harsh poisons because it was healing real quick. I was beginning to see a really beautiful Astoria now. How could she not be beautiful? Her mother was the beauty of all beauties. Her father is really handsome as well. Of course my face now would have all those qualities, I can say, high quality lol.
Did they even know what they look like? Very plain and nothing to look at. Their features have nothin to call you to look at them.
"Unlike us, Sena, unlike us," I correct her and made to walk away when Myrcella pulled me back with a yank that I felt pain in my hand. Out of reflex,I pushed her away really hard and roughly that she fell on her butt.
"Ouw!" she cried out when her meatless bum hit the floor with a sound. I wanted to swallow down my laugh but I couldn't as it came out as a muffled laugh.
"Mother!" Sena exclaimed as she rushed to her side. She then turned to look at me sharply but that made my laugh come out completely.
"What are you laughing about?!" thundered Sena.
"Take care of those bones Myrcella, maybe it's the only thing keeping The Count by your side," I joke and walked away laughing. But I stopped and turned to look at them again. "If you live with your peace Myrcella, maybe you'll be content with yourself. You got a beautiful daughter and a clever one, don't always lose your shit over another woman's child. Especially is she doesn't even give a hoot about any of you."
