"She was arrested?" James was saying as he received a phone call. "Who is this, please?" There was no reply from the other end. "Okay okay, what station?...thank you so much. I'll be waiting for the text."
He put down the phone and was about heading out when Andrea stopped him.
"Where do you think you're going?" She frowned.
James ignored her and continued to advance forward. Andrea folded her arms beneath her breast. "Remember your promise. Forget, and you loose everything. I will make sure of it." There was a shocking authenticity in her voice that scared James.
He turned back to face her. "I wouldn't dare break my promise, and I've told you to stop bringin it up every instances! But she needs help, and I can bail her right now-"
"You'll regret it if you walk out of that door, James. I can assure you." Andrea frowned.
