Ethan was awakened by the ringing of his phone while he and Ellie were asleep while watching a movie in the living room. It seemed that Ellie was also awakened too by the sound of his phone.
He checked to see who was calling, and it was Ann, his secretary. He had called her earlier to let her know he couldn't come to work and asked not to be disturbed, but she still called. He quickly pressed the "ignore" button and then turned to his wife.
"Sorry, it was Ann," Ethan said as he faced Ellie.
"Could it be something important, love, that's why she called?" Ellie inquired with concern.
"No, just let her be. There's nothing more important right now than you, my love," Ethan said as he embraced his wife's bare body.
Ellie relaxed into Ethan's embrace, feeling reassured by his words.
But Ann called again.
"Grrr," Ethan grumbled in an irritated voice.
"Answer it, it's okay with me, love," Ellie said
