Chapter 19 - Chapter 18

Two weeks left until the three-month trial period ends, and I still don't know what will happen on that day. However, I am eager to find out what rewards I will receive.

The chat has been quite lively lately, with people boasting about clearing more than ten floors, others bragging about building a harem with their heroes, and some even lucky enough to have obtained heroes of the same gender.

There are also people lamenting the fact that nobody visits their dungeon or visits only once and never returns. I thought creating my dungeon was easy and that everyone would succeed.

Because of this, there are ads from people selling their dungeon master rights to try to make some money, though whether they will succeed remains to be seen.

Today, I am designing the sixth floor and summoning my second hero.

"I think I'll make the sixth floor like that game you liked, Luna."

I wanted to make the sixth floor differently, and I got an idea while watching Luna play a game on her phone.

"Daddy, are you really going to make a ruin-themed floor?"

"Yes, would you like to help me?"

"Yes, yes! How about making a ruin with traps? I haven't seen you use traps on any other floor."

To start building the floor, I wanted to use a monument that already exists or existed in the world to simulate an era of ruins. Nowadays, the internet is so advanced that you can get the feeling of visiting a place just by looking at your phone without leaving home.

One thing that impressed me was the Taj Mahal and the Roman Colosseum.

"Which one do you prefer, Luna, the Taj Mahal or the Colosseum?"

"Why not both?"

"What do you mean?"

"Who said you can only make one thing? If you want, you can create a room where you enter and it takes you to the Colosseum."

"Wouldn't it look strange to see the Taj Mahal and the Colosseum together?"

"If you only show the exterior construction of the Taj Mahal and use the function that increases the space inside the dungeon, you can create a room and modify its space to fit the Colosseum."

I decided to go with Luna's idea, so I started by creating the outer part of the Taj Mahal. To simulate ruins, I decided to cover it with vines and give the walls an aged appearance.

It was difficult and time-consuming to try to recreate all the details it had, until Luna showed me that I could send photos of what I wanted to the control panel and let it scan and recreate.

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

"I thought you already knew, I'm sorry."

Luna looked a bit sad but also somewhat indignant.

"I'm not blaming you; it's just a figure of speech. Come here."

After hugging Luna, we continued building the dungeon.

"If you know of anything else that can help, don't hesitate to tell me, okay?"

The interior was not created 100% faithfully to the real thing. While I used the same theme, I created several rooms and corridors that didn't exist before to give a sense of adventure and exploration. Some corridors were longer, while others were shorter.

To find the entrance to the next floor, adventurers would have to pass through various rooms and explore the corridors, many of which would lead to dead ends.

"If we don't give any hints about the right path, no one will be able to find it, or it will take them a long time."

"You're right; I think it's a good idea to add some hints."

"I think we can add traps as well."

After creating the entire labyrinth, we decided to scatter hints, but these hints needed to be interpreted, or they would lead people into traps.

We used various classic traps, such as arrows flying from the walls, trapdoor floors, monster house, a maze-like corridor, some illusions, and puzzles.

This floor, unlike the previous ones, I didn't bother choosing specific types of mobs to use, deciding to use all the mobs available to me at the moment and spread them across the map and in the monster house.

The only mob I didn't include in them was the griffin, which I decided to place in the final part along with the coliseum.

"Now it's time to create the grand finale."

The final room leading to the next floor is where the Colosseum will be. To pass the Colosseum, adventurers will have to defeat groups of monsters after groups of monsters, simulating battles for freedom, as the stories say. There will be only five waves, but the difficulty will increase drastically between each one.

As a reward, after completing the five waves, I decided to place a random treasure chest. It wouldn't be limited by the loot from each mob and would have prizes many times better, but being random, the quality would depend on luck.

Due to the number of floors and DC I have, their quality is limited. One item I decided to include in the rewards was an item box. It's something that cannot currently be created in our world, but since it's one of the rewards found in the dungeon, it's not entirely unknown, just a bit rare.

After finishing the construction of the sixth floor:

"System, I want to summon another hero."

[Purchase confirmed, hero being randomly generated]

[Congratulations, you have acquired a hero of the angel species.]

With fingers crossed, hoping for a more normal hero this time, the same magical scene unfolded before me once again. Unlike when Luna was summoned, rays of holy-looking light, along with floating feathers, surrounded the magic circle.

As time passed, everything gathered at the center, and slowly, an image began to form. Two pairs of wings could be seen, along with the body of a young adult. When the magic circle vanished, a man in his early twenties stood before me, with fiery red hair, a serious expression, and an aura of sanctity.

"My master."

He may not be exactly what I had in mind, but he seems reasonably normal.

"Welcome. I believe you don't have a name yet, so I'll call you Omael."

"I am honored, my master."

After giving a name to the hero, I decided to explain to him the people who are with me in the dungeon and how I plan to build and manage it.

"I have a question about your race and how it works."

"Master, despite being of the angelic race, I am a being created by the dungeon. I only possess basic information about the races."

"Before that, can you hide your wings?"

"I apologize."

The two pairs of wings that were fully on display, showcasing their splendor, quickly retracted to Omael's back.

"Could you tell me what you know about your race now?"

"No problem. The angelic race is a species of beings blessed with divine magic. They have a long lifespan and tend to do good and follow a strong code of conduct."

"Do you know why?"

"It's due to the desires of the beings who created them."

"I think that's more information than I need right now. Well, I'll introduce you to the group now."

"My name is Luna, nice to meet you. I'm a hero like you."

Luna, who had been quiet until now, introduced herself seriously but had a happy expression on her face.

"Pleasure to meet you, Miss Luna. I hope to get along with you."

For the first time, Omael broke his serious expression, now wearing a loving look and exuding an aura of compassion.

"Hehehe, Miss."

"No need to be so formal, Omael. Luna treats me like family, so you can feel more at ease."

"Thank you very much, my master."

Despite maintaining a serious posture and a divine aura, Omael began to act less rigidly and continued to call me "master." Although it's a bit strange, I think it's better than being called "dad" by him.
