The clear sky with stars adorning it made the night so beautiful. Even though it was already night time, people were seen passing by to complete their various business. So crowded, but we move to the other side of the city ... far from the crowd, there is a bridge connecting these two locations.
Unlike the bustling city, the atmosphere of this remote village is quiet and calm. A cold breeze could be felt, so cold. The breath released by the two girls was vaporized.
The golden eyes of one of the girls looked closely at her friend's hand and took the initiative to grasp it. Their fingers touched each other and were accompanied by a warm feeling radiating from the touch given by the girl with the golden bead.
"I promise to you..." She murmured and took hold of the girl's shoulder as they joined their foreheads.
They could feel and hear the sound of each other's breathing. The gold-beaded girl let out a giggle, while the girl in front of her saw a faint red tinge on her cheeks. So sweet thought the girl with the gold bead.
"One day I will take you to the outside world, you're curious, aren't you? wait until that time comes, I will show you how beautiful this world is, Yuuna." She continued to the girl known as Yuuna.
Her hand also lifted up and held Yuuna's cheek gently. Yuuna's hair was parted and revealed the thin red color of Yuuna's ears which meant she was a little embarrassed... even so, Yunna herself showed a comfortable expression.
"Okay. I'll wait until then."
"You must believe, right? That I will always wait for you no matter what, Minnie." Yuuna said softly, her hand came up and caressed Minnie's face.
Minnie's hand rose up and held her best friend's hand gently. The warmth released by Yuuna's hand made her feel so comfortable. Ah it seems like nothing can replace this sense of comfort ... ever.
"I have to go back. See you again, Yuuna." Minnie turned around and ran while waving her hand towards Yuuna.
Minnie's footsteps seemed so hasty. I don't know what this young girl was chasing. Not long after, Minnie sighed softly and raised her head towards this huge and luxurious mansion.
"Are they home?"
Minnie stepped into the grand mansion and made her way to the dining room. But nothing. There was no one in the mansion. She also couldn't find the noses of the people living in the mansion.
Getting that fact successfully made Yuuna frown which indicated that the girl was upset. In her heart she cursed this thing that always made her lonely.
"Where are the others? Being alone again and leaving the house to me?" She muttered in annoyance and let out a rough breath.
"In that case, I'd better invite Yuuna to stop by here, right? Tch."
Minnie sat down on the chair and took her favorite avocado juice that was already available on the dining table. Casually, the girl put her feet up on the dining table as she grumbled to vent her annoyance.
The house bell rang and startled the occupants, "who is it?" She muttered under her breath. Inevitably, Minnie had to get up and see who was visiting late at night.
"Hng... what is it?"
A gunshot was heard and hit Minnie's white forehead. Fresh red blood rushed out. The little girl's body immediately fell down.
"Hah!"
Breathing heavily, Minnie woke up in a room that was dark as far as the eye could see. The sound of dripping water could also be heard clearly in Minnie's ears.
"What... what is this? What is this place?" She muttered a little fearfully and stepped back.
"Mi-minnie? Is that really you?" Asked a voice that was so familiar to Minnie's ears.
Minnie was stunned and immediately looked for the origin of the voice. How surprised Minnie was to see the figure of Yuuna who was also in this unrecognizable place, "Yuuna... why are you here? What is this place?"
Minnie's eyes opened wide, she could feel that sweat was drenching her body. Her heartbeat was also irregular and made Minnie immediately clutch her chest while neutralizing her panting breath.
"Was that... a dream?" She muttered under her breath and massaged the bridge of her nose. Minnie's golden bead turned towards the window which showed that the sky was still dark. Fear certainly still gripped Minnie, she hoped that what she saw was just an illusory world or even a dream.
