Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 31
Noah Grimaced, loosened his entire body, got into his fighting stance, ready for battle and said ,"Let's get going then, shall we" and then closed the distance in an instant, ready to start the battle to decide who was the strongest in the city. He hit a three piece combo with a punch to the stomach, kick to the leg and a roundhouse with the other leg to the head BAM POW BOOM. Apollo was shocked at the speed of this muscle bound freak of nature and barely blocked the last blow. He had to adapt to the speed of his amazing foe, analyzing the movements and balance of his opponent. Noah circled around and sweeped Apollo's leg to the floor, then as he was falling hit a knee to the stomach BAAAM. Apollo dropped his sword and was starting to get worried, if he didn't get used to this foe now, nothing good would happen.
Apollo got back up and saw Noah coming in for yet another attack saying ,"You're disappointing me, I thought you were strong" and Apollo countered back with ,"Well, we all have hold many surprises." Noah darted in for a front punch but Apollo leaned to one side, the attack grazing him while Apollo landed a counterkick to the stomach and hit a hook to the jaw. Noah got bumped back, smiling ever so happily facing a strong opponent.
… ,"Mom I'm Hungry" ,"I'm sorry but I don't have any food"... ,"Hey get back here" ,"You ain't catching me!!!"... A younger Noah collided with an older man in a suit ,"Kid, I've been seeing you around here stealing, do you need money" ,"YES, I DO, FOR ME AND MY MOM!!!" ,"Good, then if you come with me, you'll find all the money you can believe and much more" ... ,"Here's the fighting ring kid, you'll fight people around your age here, and winning earns you money, you will need some training first though"... HYAH BOOM HYAH BAM Noah hit the punching bag with maximum force… He bench presses 1000 lbs for reps and with 10 he finished the set… BAM BAM BAM PLOOSH Noah's opponent hit the floor of the underground (illegal) fighting ring and had gone under (unconscious) ,"YES" Noah screamed ,"YEEEEEEEEEEEEES"... ,"Mom, with this money we can make a whole new life" He then smiled genuinely for the first time in his life…
Noah threw an elbow with his right arm, hitting straight on his opponent's temple, Apollo lost his footing for a few seconds and then got back to the right state of mind. Apollo kicked Noah's neck, then with the opposite hand, palm striked the jaw and Noah dazed, fell back a little bit before clenching his jaw and reeling back for another round. Punches, kicks, dodges and blocks were exchanged. Noah's smile only increasing in size as the fight raged on.
Apollo finally realizing what he had to do, he jumped back, created a barrier, and fiddled at the bracelets around his wrist and ankles that were weighing him down and unhinged the latches on all of them. One by one they fell to the ground and created indents in the floor because of how heavy they were. ,"Ah much better" Apollo said whilst repairing the damage of the previous exchanges with Art: Recovery. Apollo went over and picked back up his sword, knowledge and fighting tactics flowing into him as he put ki into his bokken.
As if like teleporting, Apollo appeared right in front of Noah, Noah still being able to catch his movement used Art: Reinforce to reinforce his own body with ki as before he had only used his physical strength alone. They then, both darted across the floor destroying pillars and eventually damaging the building so much that it was about to crumble. ,"Oh shit" Apollo said as he ran to get out, Noah directly on his trail. The speed that they were moving at was so fast that the air pressure built up from it was destroying everything they came in contact with. They both jumped out of the building, landed on the street and continued their fight, luckily this time of day being night not many people were out here. The fight continued on as the more they fought, the more they unleashed their hidden power they thought they wouldn't have to use. ,"FINALLY, YOU'VE UNLEASHED YOUR TRUE POWER!!!" Noah screamed, Apollo replying with ,"WELL I GUESS THE BOTH OF US CAN HAVE SOME FUN NOW!!!"
