I was lying down on the ground in pain, then I suddenly saw a huge monkey it was around 3 meters ( Approximately 9.8 feet) walking from the deep part of the forest, It looked more like an ape or a gorilla rather than a monkey but unlike those two it had a tail. I somehow managed to stand up, and the monkey came close to me and said something.
"hoo-hoo-hoo, ahh-ahh-ahh", I have no idea what it's saying. Let's use one of Truck-Kun's skills.
"Skill Share - Linguistic"
Once I muttered these words I could understand what the huge monkey was saying, "You killed a lot my brethren, but you strong. Reject humanity and return to monkey." Saying these words the monkey stretched out its hand toward me.
What? What the hell does that mean? Return to monkey? Does it mean de-evolve back to an ape? Is that even possible? While I was pondering these things the Status Screen popped up once again.

Quest
Reject Humanity and Return to Monkey
Reward: Become a Monkey and gain Monkey skills
NOTE: Your race will be changed to Monstrous Monkey and you can Evolve to change them later.
Or
Reject Monkey and Stay Human
Reward: A Random Skill
WARNING: If you decide to become a Monkey you will be considered a Monster and you will not be able to enter the cities of Races like humans, elves, dwarves, etc. But you will be able to enter the City of Monsters and Demons. The decision you take now will have a huge impact going forward.
Wow, that was a lot to digest. Let's break it down. If I turn into a monkey, I might be labeled a monster, which sounds pretty weird. But when I think about it practically, becoming a monkey could actually be a smart move. I could learn a bunch of new skills and even have the chance to evolve into something better.
If I ended up turning into a monkey, would the title change to something like "That time I reincarnated as a Monkey" or "I am a Monkey, so what? ?" Or would it be something along those lines? On the flip side, if I choose to stick with being human, all I get is a random skill, which could either turn out to be really good or just downright useless.
Pocket Sand was also a random skill, it turned out to be surprisingly useful. Though I initially thought it was useless, it ended up being a skill that effectively immobilized enemies. However, I can't rely solely on the success of Pocket Sand to make this decision.
And by the way, the huge Monkey is still standing with his arm stretched while I am having these monologues. Does that mean he will stand like that until I make a decision?
Now that I think about it, in games these kinds of things happen all the time, the NPC will stand in a weird post until the Playable Character makes a choice even if the player chooses to stare at the same screen for a few hours for whatever reason.
Then If I just leave here without making a decision will he stay like this forever? That would be funny but I don't think that will happen If I don't choose anything for a long time he will probably go ape shit crazy.
All right, I have made a decision. I opened my mouth and told the Monkey.
"Daga kotowaru" ('But I refuse' in Japanese)
There is a reason that I refused the Monkey, It is true that becoming a monkey will make me stronger in the long run but I don't want to become a monkey, because If I did end up becoming a Monkey then I would also have to change the Title, but I like my current title so that's why I refused the Monkey.

Reject Monkey and Stay Human
Quest Completed!
Reward: A Random Skill is being generated.
*Skill Plasma Cannon has been generated*
*Skill Plasma Cannon has been awarded*
Plasma Cannon what's that?
"Status Screen"
I opened my status screen and had a look at my new skill.
Plasma Cannon (Active)
This is a versatile skill in grey magic that can be really strong or somewhat weak. How powerful it becomes depends on the name you give to the skill. Even though it's initially called the "Plasma Cannon," users can change its name to whatever they like, When you use this skill, you're able to create a concentrated blast of energy. The name you choose for the skill determines how strong it is and what attributes it has. This shows how names and magic are linked together in grey magic. This skill does not have a rank.
Energy: Depends on the Spell.
Proficiency: 0%
Wh-what's this, This skill is basically a blank canvas if I could just give this an epic name then I can use this skill as my signature move, Not only that because of the epic name it will also be very powerful. Alright, let's name this thing. I opened the Status Screen and decided to give it the name khameha-
"Holy shit, look at that destructive power If I had taken that hit head-on I am pretty sure, I will end up dead"
As I was thinking about what name to give my special skill, the huge monkey suddenly attacked me. I somehow managed to escape, but where I had been standing, there was now a massive hole from the monkey's powerful attack. Just a few minutes ago, the monkey was just standing there. Why did it suddenly attack? Was it because I said no to its offer?
For some reason, the Status Screen was showing some kind of activity.
*The name of the skill has been selected*
*The skill will now be called: Holy Shit*
Because of the name the skill will be granted Light and Dark attributes.
Warning: Two different opposing attributes detected, Changing the attribute to Grey magic.
Oh no, no, no, this can't be right. My signature skill can't be named "Holy Shit." I wanted something epic and powerful, but what I've got is "Holy Shit"? Seriously? This is frustrating. It's all because of that massive monkey. I don't care what it takes; I'm going to take down that monkey today.
While I was determinedly thinking this, the Status Screen appeared once again.

Quest: Hunt
Hunt the Ruler of the Verdant Grove, Monkey Kong, and get his Energy Stone
Reward: One of Monkey Kong's Skill
Perfect, now I have additional motivation to kill this bastard. Now why don't I use Appraisal on him first?
"Appraisal"
Once I said this word the Status Screen popped up once again
Level: 50
Health: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.
Energy: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.
Name: Monkey Kong
Brawn: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.

Sturdy: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.
Intelligence: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.
Charisma: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.
Skills: The appraisal level is insufficient to reveal this option.
What level 50? I am at level 13 isn't this the beginner's forest? Why the hell is there a level 50 Monster here? And you want me to defeat that thing? The appraisal doesn't even work on this thing, the only thing I learned about it is the name and the level. And why are its stats different from mine?
When I was thinking about these things it started to attack me again, this time it was saying something, "Super Monkey Fist". A giant spectral monkey formed behind the Monkey Kong and it attacked me.
"Skill Share - Acceleration"
"Acceleration"
"Acceleration"
After three successful accelerations I managed to evade the attack, "Wait is that an enemy sta-", Before I could finish my sentence the Monkey Kong attacked me again but this time it hit me and sent me flying and I smashed against a tree.
*Crash*
I coughed some blood, Shit! It hurts like hell, it looks like I have some broken ribs, how do I know that? I don't know really I just said it because people say it all the time in the Movies and anime. And how do they usually stand and fight after taking some serious damage like this? I can hardly breathe. What's my health like?
"Status Screen"
Health: 2500
Energy: 1000
Holy Shit! It reduced my health in half with just a single punch, This thing can easily two hit K.O. me. When I was thinking about it, Monkey Kong started approaching me. I have to do something or else I'll be dead.
"Soul Steal"
I activated the skill, then I suddenly had a surge of energy as if all my pain and fatigue disappeared like it was never there before. What this? Let's check my stats to see what's going on.
"Status Screen"
Health: 5000
Energy: 5000
NOTE: Because the Enemy's Health and Energy exceed users only partial Health and Energy have been absorbed.
What? Both my Health and Energy became full and what's more, is that I only partially absorbed them. Then How much Health and Energy does this thing have?
