In a dimly lit room, the sound of a woman's sobs filled the air.
It was none other than Ariel, seated on the bed, her body curled up in anguish. Lorelei say beside her as tears also gathered in her eyes.
She never knew she would ever see the brave Queen Ariel in such a state.
"My queen," Lorelei called our and Ariel's green eyes looked up at her, Lorelei's voice filled with empathy, "I know this place feels oppressive, but remember, darkness can be deceiving. Look beyond the gloom, and you'll discover traces of beauty and strength."
She paused then continue,
"Fear not, my queen. Though Eres may have won today, we will soon find a way to escape this forsaken place. You are not alone, my queen. I am here by your side, and we will leave this place together. I am grateful that your sister did not fall into his clutches."
As Lorelei spoke, Ariel's sobs begin to subside, replaced by a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
Lorelei was right.
