Synopsis
UNDER EDITING! Many years ago, the once-thriving kingdom of Astralan, home to the vampire race, faced a deadly crisis when the beloved Princess Liora fell gravely ill. In a desperate bid to save her life, King Aldric of Astralan stole a sacred artifact from the neighboring demon kingdom of Dracoria. The artifact, known as the **Heartstone of Eternity**, granted the princess 1,000 more years of life. But in doing so, King Aldric incurred the wrath of Dracoria’s ruthless ruler, King Azriel, known as the Devil himself. Azriel, a feared figure whispered to have lost his heart to darkness long ago, wages war on Astralan, determined to reclaim what was stolen. As Astralan crumbles under the demon onslaught, King Aldric is left with one choice: to offer Princess Liora as a living sacrifice to the demon king. She will remain in Azriel's kingdom for 1,000 years until the Heartstone of Eternity regenerates. As Liora is taken to the feared land of Dracoria—often referred to as Hell by her people—she is confronted with a king shrouded in darkness, a man who claims to have no heart. Yet, despite his cold, demonic exterior, Liora begins to see something more in Azriel. In a world of shadows and cruelty, her purity and innocence shine like a beacon. Will her light be enough to thaw the demon king's frozen heart, or will she remain trapped in his hellish realm for eternity? ---

Chapter 1 - The Notorious Princess

"Princess Olivia!!" The personal maid shouts, frantically searching the garden for Olivia, who was supposed to be learning proper etiquette that she has been neglecting to learn.

This has always been a daily happening in the palace. Her 20th birthday is just around the corner, and she has a history of messing up every one of her parties with her unladylike manner when talking to guests or dinning with them.

Mila, Olivia's personal maid, gets annoyed when Olivia talks or dines with guests in an unladylike manner. Mila has been taking care of Olivia since she was a child, so she's used to these behaviors. But every time Olivia displays them, it really gets under Mila's skin. Even though she can't physically harm Olivia, she sees her as a daughter since her own daughter and Olivia's mother, the Queen, passed away.

Mila dashed through the garden, searching high and low for the mischievous princess. However, every time she checked Olivia's usual hiding spots, she found nothing but empty space. It seemed like Olivia was quite the elusive one!

As King Charles stood on the balcony of the throne room, he observed his cherished daughter playfully tricking her maid. With his hand resting behind his back, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness in his heart. Soon, he would have to give her away, but he held onto the hope that everything would turn out well.

It was a truly agonizing time for him. The Queen, his beloved wife, had passed away, leaving a void in his heart. And tragically, his eldest daughter had also departed from this world. The weight of these losses weighed heavily on his soul.

It's true that Olivia's sister found happiness through marriage, but the situation with Olivia is indeed troubling. The decision to give her to a Demon for 1000 years is a difficult one, and it's understandable to question if it would have been better if she had passed away from her illness. The consequences of his actions, including stealing from Hellothan and offending the King of Hell, have undoubtedly complicated matters. It's a complex situation with no easy answers.

All those events now belonged to the past, and he found himself powerless to alter their outcome. His hands were tied in the presence of the Devil, leaving him with no choice but to honor his part of the agreement and surrender Olivia for a thousand years. The weight of the situation must have been incredibly heavy for him.

Living with the devil was more torturous than death itself. Now he was forced to hand over his own daughter. She was the only source of solace for him in the palace, making the situation even more unbearable.

Life was really cruel to him.

Seeing Olivia's joyful smile as she ran through the garden maze, his heart ached for his sweet daughter.

The door to the throne room swung open, and in walked the king's trusted right-hand man, ready to give his daily report as usual.

King Charles remained lost in thought, unaware of the person who had entered and was silently observing him. The man cleared his throat, trying to get the king's attention.

"Sire, I've come to give you the day's report," the man said solemnly, holding an Encyclopedia in his hand. The King's next words caused the man's serious expression to instantly falter.

"Noir, is it a good idea to give Olivia out?"

Noir paused, clearly annoyed by Charles' interruption. If Charles wasn't the King, Noir would have snapped at him for interrupting his serious moment.

"Sire, I understand your concerns, but it's not a wise decision to give Olivia away. However, if you back out now, it could put the people in danger. It's a tough situation."

Noir looked at the king with empathy, understanding the weight of his decision. Giving up Olivia would have far-reaching consequences for the kingdom and his own lineage. It was a difficult situation, but the king had to consider the greater good and the future of the kingdom.

Even if Charles asked the devil to kill him and spare Olivia, the kingdom would still be affected including Olivia. He didn't have a son so the kingship would most definitely leave his household and go to someone else capable in the kingdom.

King Charles found himself torn between the well-being of his daughter, Olivia, and the welfare of his kingdom. It was a heart-wrenching dilemma for him, as he deeply cared for both. He had to carefully weigh the consequences of his decision and consider the best course of action for everyone involved.

"Proceed"

He told Noir and the Man began immediately.

Noir, with a sense of purpose, began reporting the activities to the king. The king couldn't help but notice Noir's enthusiasm for the task, finding it both interesting and peculiar. After each report, Noir would smile as if he had accomplished a significant task, leaving the king curious about his motivations.

....

Olivia sat in front of the mirror as Mila continued to brush her red hair, noticing how she seemed lost in her thoughts. Through the mirror, Mila observed Olivia's lips twitching, indicating that she might be dwelling on something she didn't particularly like.

"What are you thinking about my princess?"

Mila finally broke the silence and questioned her. Olivia jolted immediately and Mila's eyes narrowed at her reaction.

What could she possibly be thinking to eat up all her attention?.

She raised a brow at Olivia and waited for the young lady's reply.

"Nothing"

She replied.

Mila squinted her eyes at Olivia's reply.

"Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything that's bothering you"

"Ahh never mind Mila, you won't approve of it anyways. You're too protective"

"What do you mean I'm too protective? Don't tell me you're planning to go climb the tree again because I'll not forgive you if you do. You could even hurt yourself or if worse, fall from there!"

Mila lectured as usual and Olivia rolled her eyes.

"Who said anything about climbing a tree? Though I had that in mind but that's not my current thought" Olivia said and she looked at Mila's eyes through the mirror. Mila was staring at her with a frown.

"Alright tell me"

Mila said and Olivia nodded.

"You really want to know?"

"Of course Milady"

Her next words shut Mila up completely.

"I want to join the soldiers to train and I want to go for a war with them. I'll tell fath_"

"Sorry but that can never happen!"

Someone cut her shut from the door and they turned to see who it was.
