A flash of motion that took less than ten seconds. Kiara turned and saw the exit door wide open which was supposed to be closed.
At the same time, the lights were turned off and an instant later Kiara was startled by the noise. A strange hand grabbed her left arm as another clamped over her mouth. Her eyes widened In the darkness as she let out a smothered squeal of nervousness and fright.
"Ouch!!!" the voice screamed out in pain as Kiara bit his arm.
The man released his arm from her and she quickly seized the opportunity to run for her life before he could get hold of her then she saw a silver necklace on the floor with the initials BT carved on it. Kiara thought it belonged to the man who grabbed her. She picked it up and dashed out of the hospital, entered her car in a rush, and drove off.
