After walking for months, the academy finally showed itself. It looks similar to a ginormous castle with a moat of shimmering water around it.
"We're almost there Kizu-sama, Ren-sama. The academy sure is huge isn't?"
"Indeed. What is the first thing we're gonna there?. Since we walked for months I think we're late"
"It's fine, many students will come too today and they're also newcomers"
They entered inside the ginormous academy.
It's divided into four sections knowledge area, mock arena, living quarters, and medical facility.
The knowledge area is where the students have to attend there every week, there is also a vast library where students can learn each type of magics.
The mock arena is basically where students battle to test their ability. They also train their magic here.
In each rooms there are two separate beds for each two students, it saves up some space for the academy.
Finally the medical facility where nurses and doctors cure different damages including magic damage and physical damage.
"Here's your room Kizu-sama, Ren-sama. You will stay here for the next five years so please make yourself at home."
"Thank you very much"
"Your welcome, the uniforms of yours will be on your beds, wear them before the ceremony, I'll call you before it starts"
The room filled with silence after Rennel said wear the uniform before the ceremony.
"I will come out so you can have some time getting ready, just knock on door if you're done wearing your uniform... you might not want to see an eagle"
"stupid, as if I'll ever peek. Thanks, I'll get ready fast so it will be your turn next"
As Ren slipped into her uniform, Kizuya patiently waited outside the room.
Rennel happened to pass by their room and noticed Kizuya standing there. Curiosity piqued, he approached him. "What's the matter, Kizu-sama?"
Kizuya shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "Nothing much. Ren is just getting ready, putting on her uniform."
Rennel chuckled softly. "Ah, young ones these days. You're what, thirteen? And she's fourteen, if I remember correctly. You don't often see boys your age waiting so attentively for their roommates to get ready."
Kizuya grinned sheepishly. "Actually, I suggested stepping out so she could have some privacy while changing."
Rennel chuckled again, shaking his head. "You youngsters are an interesting bunch. I'll have a curtain sent over to divide your room, so you both have your own changing spaces."
Kizuya's eyes lit up with gratitude. "Thank you very much. About what you said, do roommates in each room change their clothes at the same time?, They don't have their own privacy"
"They're not pervert... Are you?"
"No no..."
"Okay then, I'll continue on my way now"
Rennel nodded and continued on his way, leaving Kizuya with a sense of contentment and the promise of a more comfortable setup for both him and Ren.
A soft knock finally echoed at the door.
"I'm ready now, Kizuya. How do I look?" Ren's voice carried a note of anticipation.
"Gorgeous," Kizuya replied, his eyes lighting up. He hesitated for a moment before continuing, "Um, earlier Rennel walked by and suggested if you'd be comfortable changing clothes while both of us are inside the room... not that it's what it seems! I mean, I'm just relaying what he said."
Ren burst into laughter. "Haha, sure, I am. But you're the one who chose to wait outside instead of letting me know."
Kizuya's cheeks flushed slightly. "Well, in that case, I guess I should change now," he sighed, his expression a mix of embarrassment and amusement.
As Kizuya moved towards the room, it became evident that Ren had no issue with changing in front of him. She do blushed a little though.
Rennel stepped into view.
"Alright, Kizu-sama, Ren-sama. It seems both of you are prepared. The announcement will commence shortly. Please make your way to the mock arena for the announcement."
Upon entering the mock arena, the headmaster poised to deliver his announcement.
"Welcome, young students. It is a privilege for all of you to be here. You will observe that almost every one of us bears a unique mark, symbolizing our past lives in these reincarnated bodies. You might get shocked students but you cannot go back to your past life but you can still remember it, some of you also may not know that it symbolize your last life. Anyways, in the medical facility there is a past life checker to see what race you are in your last life and what is your position there."
"..."
"I want to try it, will you come with me Kizuya?"
"Of course, for now let's finish what the headmaster's gonna say"
After the announcement Ren rushed with Kizuya to the medical facility but there's a huge explosion happened.
"What's that?-"
Students all over the arena panicked.
"Don't panic everyone, there is just some mistakes happened" The head master announced.
Since Ren and Kizuya was there anyways they checked out what happened.
The nurses already evacuated, a smoke left behind.
The academy guards saw Ren and Kizuya at the scene.
"Hands up where I can see them!"
"What's happening?"
The headmaster appears.
"Did you cause this explosion?"
"No, we didn't cause it"
The headmaster offered a death stare and spare them.
"They have nothing to do with this"
Hours passed it is now lunch time, Kizuya and Ren was just laying on their bed.
"What do you think happened there?"
"I have no idea, I am sad I didn't see what your past life is"
"Do you have any memory about your past life Ren?"
"I do but it's blurry... I see a green throne, a green crown and an emerald staff"
"You look like a royalty in your past"
"How about you?"
"I can clearly see my past... My brother Zanos banished me into my wor-"
"Sorry I disturbed you Kizu-sama, Ren-sama but the lunch is ready. Please proceed to the cafeteria near the medical facility"
"Oh it's already noon? I haven't noticed"
They proceed to go to cafeteria and Ren didn't hear what Kizuya said because of Rennel's disturbance.
"What were you saying again?"
"My brother banishes me to my world, he kinda do have a point because in those times I am the bad guy"
"Oh my, I don't care... At least I know your different from before"
"Yeah I definitely am new right now, the day I become a sage I turned light to dar-"
"YOU WERE A SAGE?!" Ren exclaimed
"Lower your voice"
All the eyes looked at them.
"Uhh... I... I mean where is the sausage... yeah where is the sausage... hehehe"
"Why did they sudden look at me?, like I was the only sage born in time"
"Apparently you are"
"Oh"
After the lunch they went to the mock arena.
"Say in the whole months we've been together I've never battled with you, will you battle with me?"
"With pleasure"
They occupy the whole arena for a mock battle.
"Loser is a crybaby"
The battle rage as Kizuya controls his earth power infused with fire affinity.
Ren deflects his attacks with light infused with nature affinity.
"I won't lose from you!"
As they rage in fight, the head master is observing them.
"Isn't too dangerous for the arena, Rennel?"
"Yes it is shishou, that's what makes it entertaining"
The headmaster head out from the office to stop the battle.
The head master whistles.
"Stop it at once"
Both of them stopped.
"Look at what happened to the arena, you were so amused of how both of your powers are amazing, the students watching are traumatized of how strong both of you are. In the knowledge room the teachers teach elementary level magic to king level magic, approximately it will take more than five years to fully understand king level magic but you already master emperor level"
"Fascinating isn't shishou?"
"Yes it is but the damage, I don't have enough fund if they ever destroy the barrier"
"Sorry headmaster, we were just testing our skills in magic" both of them apologized
"Well that's too much"
They were sent back to their room.
"That was fun, I didn't expect you to be as the same magic level as me Ren"
"Seems like you're underestimating me"
"No I don't"
The two burst into laughter.
"Let's go to the library!, I heard in some murmur that there are summon magics there, I want to summon other creatures than my light dragon"
"Really?"

As they walk down the alley, student chatter around and they're the topic.
"Aren't those two the newcomers who almost destroyed the mock arena"
"It seems like it's them, how could they do that?"
"I think they must've remember everything about their past life"
"Yeah, yeah"
Kizuya and Ren did not disturb their chatters because it's more like a compliment than a threat.
As they continue moving forward, three guys bumped into them.
"Oh sorry, I can't see such weaklings"
"Whatever"
"That's it?, You won't even fight for yourselves?"
"No, we're heading through the library, I don't have time for it"
"Such a coward, isn't them boys?"
"Yeah yeah, coward"
Their tease impacted Kizuya and Ren.
"Vanish"
They teleport to the headmaster's office.
"Good afternoon headmaster, may I know a right place where we can battle?"
"With who?"
"Tyrants"
"I suggest you to not fight them, you will constantly kill them in an instance"
"We'll go easy"
"We?"
"Yeah it's a three versus two, three of them versus two of us, I am with Ren"
"Well then head to the western mountains, just go easy. I won't tolerate death in my academy"
Meanwhile in the hallway.
"They're gone, maybe they're scared"
Kizuya and Ren reappears in front of the tyrants.
"Vanish"
They got teleported to the western mountains.
"The headmaster said we can go battle here. Don't worry, we'll go easy on you three"
"Hmp... Such a brat, you think you can defeat me?, I am king level magic you weak"
"Ground leviathan" Kizuya summons
"Light dragon" Ren summons
"Wha-!, what is that?!" The three tyrants said.
"Try to kill those two, once you have defeated our pets you can battle us three versus two"
"SO UNFAIR!"
After couple of hours later the bullies surrendered.
"We're so sorry!, please take those pets away senpai"
"Retreat" Ren and Kizuya commands
"Well, it's almost night time. I'm so sad we didn't get to go to the library"
"We're so sorry Ren-senpai, because of us you have got prevented from going in the library"
"Eh whatever"
"Vanish"
They got back to the academy with the three sobbing.
The three spent their whole night apologizing to Kizuya and Ren, they even call them Kizuya-senpai and Ren-senpai.
Evening comes and it's a windy night.
"Let's sleep now Kizuya, I wish tomorrow will be a great day. I just wondered, where will we be placed? our magic is above them"
"Don't worry too much. Good night, sleep well"
The full moon surely is beautiful paired with a windy night.
